New Good Seed and Omake Rule Updates
Good Seed and Omake Spreadsheet Rules:

Firstly, if you have questions about Good Seeds and the like please read here. If that doesn't answer your question please ping me in thread, or on Discord.

If you write a new Good Seed, or write an omake, please update the spreadsheet if you have access.

If you do not have access, please ping a collaborator (Swordomatic, Alectai, Quest, TehChron, Insane-Not-Crazy, Humbaba, ReaderOfFate, Kaboomatic, no., BungieONI) letting them know what you want and they will update the spreadsheet here. To gain access, you will need a gmail account of some kind. Throwaway emails are fine (I'm using one for the spreadsheet), but to gain access it's as simple as sending me either your email via PM, via DM in Discord, or just in Discord's #spreadsheet-requests channel.

This is mandatory. If a Good Seed does not record their omake by pinging collabs (or just requesting access and editing things themselves - this is the preferred option), I won't give out awards. If a new Good Seed is not recorded here, they won't advance. By doing this it makes the whole thing manageable for me - it's gotten pretty unwieldy!

-----------------------

Omake Writer Instructions:

There are four fields you need to fill out.

Omake Link, which is just a link to your first omake for the turn. This makes it easier for me to read them as I do the update - without this it's tough to know off the bat which omake were written this turn, and to properly

Requested Bonus, which is your requested bonus for your omake. You can leave it up to me if you like. You can see more info in the Good Seed infopost here.

Cultivation Aims. For those following unorthodox paths - higher than 9th Heavenstage or later than 7th Dao Pillar paths. Please put in what you are aiming for before you break through. I have left it as 'default'. If you do not edit it, I'll go with that.

Turn Notes - Do you want to do something specific? Enter a Secret Realm? Help the Clan out in some way? If you have something specific you want to accomplish on this turn, put it in turn notes so I can adjust your Fate around it.

All other fields are for QM use to record character information to properly run the flow of the game.

[x] Plan For Forgiveness, Not Permission

I happy that so many of us are voting for elder tree legacy to be preserved. OCC and IC if the other one wins it will the only time that the brotherhood would disobey a superior. Even worse Old Gold himself. Because they would continue to have art and other things with the Good seeds being present as heroes.

So I never read through Jin Muyi's story; to my knowledge, he became a plant man due to some superhero origin story one-in-a-billion shenanigans involving a specific magic sword that he basically ate in the process of it trying to eat him and everything else within its reach.

Is the idea that anyone trying to follow in Jin's footsteps is 100% guaranteed to either cripple themselves, turn into a Blood Path abomination, and/or waste precious time and resources?

Or am I mistaken and a Blood-Devouring Plant Art is actually viable? If so... Jin Muyi went nuts and died because he had some sort of soul parasite/Will Fragment of an ancient psychopath that eventually got the better of him, from what I've seen.

Did the story bits with him establish that the process carries some sort of overwhelming hunger or loss of human empathy that Jin overcame somehow? If not, I'm not terribly sure what the downsides are.

[X]Plan: Destasia Unleashed
-[x] Jin Muyi was a hero of the Clan to the very last
-[X] Send the Clan's best Array-Engineers as well as several Legions south from the Great Battlefield to the Verdant South
-[X] War (Jingshen) - Simply invade. Strike with all your might and seize territory. Kill cultivators. Requires your personal attention to prevent Nascent Souls from simply obliterating your forces. Uses your personal Action for the turn. War will open a set of new sub-turns.
-[x] Purchase a Nascent Treasure - The Hateful Mirror (Major Purchase - costs 2 Purchases)
-[X] Grow a Shambler Legion (Major Purchase - costs 2 Purchases)

There's another argument for not accepting the deal for an observer seat on the council. It'll be incredibly humiliating for SPS to publicly sponsor us for the council only for us to immediately get kicked off it for invading Jingshen. Seven Divine Saber Palace would jump for joy at the chance to kick us off the council, and then SPS would have to publicly retaliate against us for humiliating them like that. Particularly because SDSS would prefer we get more harshly punished and work to make it happen. We'll have a better relationship with SPS if we don't take the deal in the first place than if we take the deal and then publicly slap them across the face.

We can maybe get that seat afterwards if we continue helping the south after Altar Lord has successfully pulled off his Heaven-defying life's work, without hiding any incipient invasions.

he was a mass of predatory wines in a human shape after the first trials, only his own willpower keeping his act together. in the caves, his plant side sided with the fragment of a blood path cultivator who also become a plant hybrid but left his humanity behind.
When he was before the spare, he got overwhelmed by the plant monster's instincts and the blood path cultivator's fragment.
It was a close thing manuel could awake him at the end of the battle.

The choice of letting people follow his path or not is not about the blood path becoming mainstream, but our juniors taking unnecessary risks in order to gain power quicker.
Some will, obviously gravitate near the blood path, but it also means a few will think its worth to step on it.

Making his legacy a cautionary tale will ensure our juniors dont even come near the blood path.

[X] Plan : Honorable and Steadfast Golden Devils
-[X] Jin Muyi was a fallen hero of the Clan, a victim of his own techniques
-[X] Send the Clan's best Array-Engineers as well as several Legions south from the Great Battlefield to the Verdant South
-[X] War (Jingshen) - Help the Flood Dragons
It has been brought to our attention how the Jingshen has been neglecting their obligations to their southern vassals. As a most honorable of bandits, Lady Yao of the Flood Dragon Gang just couldn't let such treatement stand and has rallied most of the bandits lords of the south in the name of justice. As steadfast allies, it is our obligation to come to her aid in her time of need and help her establish herself in the so-called "New Jingshen Territories" in order to keep her new protectorates safe in the long term. Of course, as the Flood Dragon Gang are no great administrators, we offered to lease the land or help them administrate it... for a fee of course.
-[X] Kleisthenes and Lady Lao - Raiding (Jingshen)
Before attacking Jingshen we must make sure they can't raise new Elders during the war. We need to send a covert operation to secure at least one, if not both of the Jingshen's known tribulation treasures. Failing that, we must at least make sure to eliminate or bring back as esteemed guests the known Jingshen talents ready to step into Nascent Core.
-[X] Manuel - Hunt An Enemy (Old Jingshen)
Make sure that Old Jingshen can't stop our advance or stop our heist.
-[X] The Hong Xuan Division
-[X] Raise Two Scorpion Legions

I just want a plan were we keep to our values of protecting mortals and don't sabotage the war effort too much by pretty much starting a third front for the RP to fight (I'm not as optimistic as most of the SPS's reaction to a huge war). Plus, I'd like to keep the high ground in regard to the RP.

Currently winning plan runs into huge problems if Manuel fails to kill Old Jingshen which I'd guess is at best a coin flip at best considering the man is a crafty old monster who probably has at least considered the possibility of Manuel being stronger than expected considering we did defeat Old Cannibal single handedly...

But all in all, I just don't like being the monsters the Righteous Path has made us to be.

Altar Lord is an enemy of Heaven. A Heavenemy if you will. He doesn't care about personal power, he has a cause we share. Everything he and his entire dynasty have done has led up to his one final play. As fellow cursed Heavenemies, what battles or harms the Heavens helps us. Altar Lord believes this will open up a chance at winning.

Altar Lord has been confusing about whether or not he cares if his front collapses, but he needs the Righteous coalition to be distracted in order to put into play his master plan. If we help by putting the entire region's best array masters and roughly half the legions we'll be using for the entire Jingshen invasion in the south to defend against the distractions Altar Lord is praying that RP gets stuck on, we're giving our best shot at foiling his final play, what he thinks will give us a chance of winning against Heaven or at least forstalling our doom.

If our array masters and legions weren't significantly useful, SPS wouldn't be paying us for it. Sponsoring us for observership is a big deal, they're putting their face on the line that we won't embarrass them. They could have had us pay huge amounts of wealth for their sponsorship and it would have been worth it. They paid 1 Wealth in perpetuity for the use of our legions and arrays, that's not small potatoes.

Our assistance matters. If we send help to the South we could tip the balance away from a gamechanger against Heaven.

Edit: Anyone who argues that our legions would be a knife at RP's back as explicitly stated in the leading vote can't argue that our assistance is too small to matter.

How about me? While I argue that they don't have enough ATK to be a knife, I'm perfectly aware of how excellent our DEF is.
We've already made the decision that stopping the Alter Lords rampage is more important than helping him spite Heaven. We did it when we stayed with the Righteous Alliance. I see no reason we should change our minds now.

[X]Plan: Destasia Unleashed

Because Plant Legion amuses me.

On a OOC level, the whole plant thing was me rolling with the nice interlude Occi gave me during the first trial. Just that by embracing that, my Fate and story then started to expand on the whole plant thing and gaining power via People Fertilizer.

On a IC level, it's not really the Blood Plant thing that the Clan is worried about. It's more that Muyi broke the rule about consuming Energy Fields bigger then you, with consuming the ancient blood plant and then getting overpowered by it. So the Clan's worry is along the lines of people seeking a shortcut to power via consuming foes for their knowledge and Qi. And blaming Muyi is kinda like saying you might get away once or twice, but the time will come when the debt is called.

The Hero option basically handwaves away how Muyi died by giving a general Heroic Sacrifice to the Troops, which i mean may or maynot reinforce the idea of self-sacrifical for the greater good. But it won't do anything in regards to reinforcing the message that Blood Path is bad (which most of the Clan know via their experiences against the cannibals etc) unlike the Villain option which adds a "exhibit A, this could be you" to why Blood Path is bad.

So further reinforcement to the message basically.

[X] Plan: The most important part of any summary execution is to remember to have fun and be yourself

much as I loved our plant boy I can't vote for anything which paints him as a hero to the end.

Yea thats a good point.
I was considering whether to advocate for the write-in of a full blockade of MO, when word of god came that the fine print of the invasion will be subject to further votes, but without the spies we might not even get the option and OJ could blow all the treasures and wealth we hope to sieze on a deal.

Also, there seems to be a lack of options without direct invasion and I'm ever happy to play the devil's advocate.

[X] Plan Bait
-[X] Jin Muyi was a hero of the Clan to the very last
-[X] Send the Clan's best Array-Engineers as well as several Legions south from the Great Battlefield to the Verdant South
-[X] Muster troops on the Jingshen border, find a suitable stronghold and charge Destasia with the highest of heresy: the construction of a mind-tunnelling array, with the objective to help Manuel focus the shadow of heaven's will through OJ's hat and pull secrets straight out of his head. We will then spread the details of this top secret project to literally anyone who will listen.
-[X] While they wait for a response, Manuel will teach Yao and Klei the advanced topics of NS combat after that poor performance against Jiao.
-[X] A Thousand Spies, Ten Thousand Eyes on the Blood Oak (1 Purchase)
-[X] Grow a Shambler Legion (Major Purchase - costs 2 Purchases)
-[X] Raise Two Scorpion Legions (1 Purchase)

Just a reminder, but the Blood Oak are pretty much isolationists. but even if they are not, their Nascents should not come to help the Jingshen.

They have Seven Tribes, each of which has a Chieftain. Their Chieftains are all at the upper end of Core Formation. They also possess two Nascent Souls at any one time. The Great Soul Crystal can support a single Nascent Soul, and the Great Blood Crystal supports a second. Unlike most Nascent Souls the Magic Oak Sect spend most of their time in hibernation to minimise Qi usage, and only come out to mediate disputes or to defend the Sect. They mistrust outsiders, as apparently a thief of the Blood Acorns four thousand years ago rose into Nascent Soul by slaughtering their disciples, causing massive damage to the Sect. Consequently they only accept Sect members who descend from one of the Seven Tribes or the Ice Palace, and any attempt by outsiders to see the Blood Absorption Challenge is punishable by death.

and i doubt the would send out anyone above FE at all, IF even sending anyone.
