Has aurelia not taken trainer classes? Is there not a trainer school in Sunsola? Is ghost being immune to normal/fighting not common knowledge in this world, the kind of thing a five year old would think is obvious?

Aurelia hauled a Bidoof into city limits in a messenger bag and wanted to run into high-level wild pokemon territory on a whim. Common sense is not her strong suit.

A. Ghost types aren't exactly common. B. Aurella has never been one to let what she knows get in the way of anything.
 
If were ignorant maybe we can hurt the duskskull with our lack of knowledge?

Like a sort of reverse psychic type.

I don't think that this will go well in terms of catching Duskull or earning Totodile's respect, but there's a retired professional trainer here so the risk is mitigated and it can be a learning experience.

While I don't think that we'll get Duskull, I think that an Opossum Pokemon is likely to be Normal/Ghost, so there are other Ghost Pokemon to catch.

uh what? bidoof is pure normal, and evolves into normal/water, unless something is up with florida

We tried with Totodile, it didn't work that great. and Bidoof was sleeping in the middle of the path and then attacked us. Besides, we can't hurt duskull, so its a last resort option

I'm talking about a hypothetical opossum Pokemon we might find in the future in Pokemon Florida, not Bidoof. I think that Bidoof is supposed to be a beaver or gopher.

Aurelia does not know about Normal attacks being ineffective on Ghost types because she's a dumbass. Same goes for Florence. :V
 
If we throw our Totodile at Duskull would that be a water-type attack?

I mean, there was a write-in to have a conversation, but vote for bite training won out. We also had the option to just apologize to bidoof, but people went for the attack instead. I'm just saying it doesn't seem like diplomacy will be used here.
