The option where we are the hero and our brother is in our shadow just YELLS "DEATH FLAG" to me. The purpose of this quest is to become powerful/skilled enough that we don't get Kamina'd to push forward the actual protagonist our Brother to become Simone. That option is just BEGGING for us to become important enough in universe that we get taken out so our brother can take our place. However becoming the secondary protagonist just under our brother but in the same spotlight is a-okay.

Huh, thinking about it...

If this were an anime, I think this would be the final of the first arc; I wonder what kind of reception it would have gained as of now (It would be a certainly curious choice to not have Agano as an Arc End Boss in a normal Shounen Anime).

IMO, we really ought to take the Hero or Heroes option, to fix our surly reputation in the school. We'll still be looked at as a freak, but we'll be their freak.

This is mostly Shonen Bullshit in an attempt to drag Agano into a social circle so she doesn't end up isolating herself and falling deeper into a cycle of guilt and bad decisions, disguised as a pseudo-community service/citizen's parole officer thing.

The write-in is fine, but I would like some clarification on my own interpretation if it wins. Do you choose for Agano to still go with the police, or will you let her go with the condition that she returns the following weekend to hang out with everyone?

I don't think Agano should go to the police. Even if Yamato can keep her official punishment proportional to the crime, that does nothing to prevent someone with money and/or connections from making her life hell- or just short.

Rather not have Agano get tied up by the secret society as bait for Hiroko.

Let her go. There's no guarantee that she'll actually be able to visit if we let the police have her and parents are vengeful. The idea is a kind of middle ground, where we don't just let her go after she organized an assault on a school that could have killed people, but tbh we're honestly not really equipped for directing her immediately to some sort of community service, so instead we basically drop her into our general influence and hope Shonen and Empathy memes let us nudge her into a more productive path/giving the Foxes an opportunity to work their social magic in terms of discussing what it means to be Human and what it means to be a Good Person.

Plus Hiroko and Agano are very obviously well suited to be partners, and we could use all the Mystical Allies we could get for the inevitable "Initially Superior Sudden Boss" Fight.
