I would like to remind people that the Charisma build that SV adores is literal anathema to our character. Don't expect us to make many friends if you want to keep the wand bonus.
So?
No, I'm actually asking. What's your point? So fucking what?
For me, BeepSmile, I prefer a few very good friends (as in, are both 'close'
and 'are good people') that are not shitheels, compared to an alternative of "many
tools that are to be manipulated via their desire to subjugate others".
And Charisma is a a useful tool to advocate for compassion IRL, and via this game's mechanics it also gives bonuses to some skills.
So... Why is a potential charisma build, i.e. "able to convive other people to agree with/assist with [the MC's projects/desires] anathema?
Why is "being skilled an communicating one's perspective and ideals a problem?
Can Jacob not grow and change? Did the QM not literally state that that MC has flaws in his perspective?

I am so fucking done with pretending that other people's bullshit
isn't bullshit. It fucking is.
Also, because
@Nurgle brought it up, we need to use a considerable amount of actions to explore and investigate things every turn to not lose our wand bonus.
This isn't a hard cap, but maybe we should really consider to expend 4 or 5 actions for the next turn if Coalition wins.
I disagree. It's not
what we do, but
how we approach our
'what we do'.
We can pick whatever
cases, but regarding our wand bonuses, it is the sort of "press the Gray Lady/Observe the party/Drop it and just experience exiesntce rather than risk causing suffering" that matters.
"It ain't want you do, it's the way that you do it," so to speak.
