You still need a hand free to summon Inksky, so you'd need the spare to heal the cloak or perform certain types of manipulations. Also the cloak itself is far too clumsy at this point to be effectively used in Hunger's swordplay.
Thanks, I now hate it.
Ah, Zweihander winning is fine then, assuming that's the result you are going with. You still need a hand free to summon Inksky, so you'd need the spare to heal the cloak or perform certain types of manipulations. Also the cloak itself is far too clumsy at this point to be effectively used in Hunger's swordplay.
Point taken.Edeldross actually provides more immediate power than Inksky in most situations. Flight + 20% All Attribute Boost + Nullity Shields is better than +1.4 Protection and Charisma and crude telekinesis.
Our rank is... Well, we had been outranked by basically every one of note ever since the Vanreir fight, and ablating restorable, expendable evening sky matter is rather more efficient than ablating raw precious stats.+Rank and +All Attributes also serve as exotic defenses! Agility as well, since you can intercept many attacks with the Praxis blade.
It's something a former deviantartist made (source) based on apparent inspiration of an account of a historic figure supposedly meeting an angel. Is this just an independent work of art, a photoshop, or is this actually from or related to something. If it is I need to know where it is from.
It also unlocks reality-distorting fields of various flavors based on the variations of mist, though it's the most dangerous one to experiment with!
Who says it needs to be in the thread?!I have not. I've given a couple to people and still thinking up a few more, but I don't think I really have much of an iconic presence in the thread.
You have no way of knowing how to even unlock these options, let alone knowing what they do! It's a Rihaku-esque mystery box, combining an initial blurb with the promise of shinies bolsered by a high cost (so it must be worth it!)9 Arete of value, on top of a decent magic system in itself? I'd love to see what this was lined up against to make that anything but an auto-pick.
My understanding of these systems:
Now-term (no investment): Quickwater >> Edelross > Inksky
Short-term (after 2 or 3 picks, maybe 2 Arete): Quickwater > Inksky > Edelross
Medium-term (4-7 picks, maybe 4-7 Arete): Inksky >> Edelross > Quickwater
Long-term (8-10 picks, 8-12 Arete): Inksky > Edelross >> Quickwater
Longer term (11 + picks, 13 Arete): Edelross >>>>> Inksky >>>>> Quickwater
Theoretically yes, but extreme long-term potential of Edeldross is mostly through pure potential class EFB Quintessence, which grants access to the extremely potent and extremely versatile magic system of The Maiden. My understanding of these systems:
Longer term (11 + picks, 13 Arete): Edelross >>>>> Inksky >>>>> Quickwater
Inksky is necessary to allow evening sky to remain competitive, but it's mostly an potential 7 arete option at this point, and we need more power than that. +All stats is very powerful and synergetic with our build.
Kind of need to find a way for the element not to dissipate while sleeping to benefit from prep, let alone having the time to developing the potions in the first place. Our Apocryphal-free time is kind of limited. Concidentally, problems Inksky doesn't share, how convenient! One thing that hasn't been mentioned yet: Quicksilver potions could be given to Letrizia / Gisena.
I'm pretty sure our Accretion would protect it from that if we picked Inksky.Would this magic work in other universes and dimensions? it seems to synergise with our item but if only in this universe then that kind of sucks.
...huh, that's the exact name I came up with. I guess it fits the wielder? You will be hugged, resistance is futile.Who says it needs to be in the thread?!
Your power is naturally The Embrace, an accumulative magic. A unique, personal art, it has no true user other than you, though you are free to distribute its effects to and share its power with those you have embraced. Each person you add to the fold adds to the might, the splendor, and the mysticism of your Shadow Self, which you possess the ability to freely manifest or hide away, and which you may, as previously mentioned, grant a facsimile of to those under your aegis.
I'm v confused by quickwater. How exactly do we activate the +Rank bonus? Is it a potion that we drink first? A cloud of mist that emanates from our body?
What's portion of the Quickwater magic system requires extra measures while we sleep? Can we still get the Rank+ by emitting a bunch of mist even though we just woke up?
Seriously, Inksky is pretty good. It's an effective compromise with those who want to save thanks to that sweet Pillars discount, it's still very good in long-term potential due to enhancing our Progression, slots in easily with the fighting style we already have and looks cool as heck.
Our rank is... Well, we had been outranked by basically every one of note ever since the Vanreir fight, and ablating restorable, expendable evening sky matter is rather more efficient than ablating raw precious stats.
So you're saying it's the option to make ourselves into Coldbriar?
Hunger can already intercept physically-based exotic attacks with Cut Through!
