Magical Girl Home Base Quest

So for our girls:

Trompdoy: Has 10 weeks of Wand I left. No trinket. Has expressed interest in potions and multiple types of trinkets.

Eowyn: Has Wand and Costume, but both are about to run out. No Trinket. Has expressed interest in explosive bombs.

Calypso: Has a Trinket. Wants a Wand.

Sofia: Has nothing. Is a Skill type that has offensive power but limited use - a Trinket may synergize.

I think our priorities are to get Wands for Calypso and Eowyn and Trinkets for Trompdoy and Sofia. Researching the Wand may raise our skill level with Wands, which is great.

Plotwise, there's a badass Witch in the woods with a nasty Bounded Field keeping things out, but not sure what we can do about that. Ouroboros took the Scroll of breaking bounded fields - hopefully someone can point her in the appropriate direction or she'll end up there on her own.

After the wand we are researching we will likely switch back to making Tier 3 trinkets to get everyone equipped since those last longer by default so we can make sure everyone has some sort of equipment

[X] Trinket
-[X] Level 3.

I don't want to spend a turn we could be using to make another overpowered trinket on research. In the time it'll take to make the wand and three bombs, we could make two trinkets and six bombs.

I know people want to get the cursed sword online, but I'd really like for us to get those triple free potions this turn. Things seem to be really heating up right now and we're getting a lot of reports of dangerous enemies in town, having some bombs in case of a big battle would be really nice and could potentially save some girls lives. We can research the sword on a quieter turn.

I've been convinced, partially because I'm increasingly uncomfortable leaving Mistletoe underequipped, Skill or not. She's new and most likely to bite it right now.

Researching the sword gets us 1 T3 item.
Crafting a trinket gets us 1 T3 and 3 T1 items.

Having a few health potions (or grenades or whatever) around for emergencies would cut down on the meatball surgery.

Three possibly healing potions seem like something to get asap, especially with one half of a very capable duo out of commision currently. Even just one healing potion kept at the base seem priceless after our third surgery in a month.

[X] Trinket
-[X] Level 3.

Research next turn.

Researching the sword also helps push us to increasing our wand skill level so that we can make higher tier wands. Also we have to be careful on our resources and the 3 T1 items eat up 1 resources each

Okay, I've been persuaded... but we really want to get that lvl 3 wand next turn.

[X] No, you want to research an item instead.
-[X] Cursed sword

Sticking to the plan. I really hope this gets us started on making better wants. Next turn we start on trinkets, or possibly upgrade the workshop again. This was a huge improvement, going for another one if it gets similar results would be fantastic. Even if it doesn't it would still make our stuff last longer, and improve our action economy.

No word on Trissa, that's concerning.

Why do we need better wands right now? We still haven't fully supplied the troops with Trinkets.

How do we know research will improve our wandmaking?

I don't think research will get us a wand this turn, it should unlock it for next turn.

The QM has said that we improve skills by researching items or having a chance to make a Masterwork.

This is the quote from the Wand when we chose it:

[] Cursed Sword (Will result in a T3 Wand after spending a turn to Research)

[X] No, you want to research an item instead.

I've been convinced to switch. As a crafter who can't yet make armor costumes, building protective trinkets and brewing (hopefully) healing potions is as close as we can get to better help protect our MGs. Though I'm still going right back next turn; we don't have enough pew pew to go around yet either.
