Crimson Beauty of The Crescent Moon (Fate/Grand Order)

[X] Total Magical Saturation. Two mage. One, the last scion of the esteemed Animusphere, and the other, the greatest of protege of Circe. Both enacting a ritual bolstered with five Command Seals. Such profligate expenditure will break through the vaunted advantage of the Knight Classes... but it would mean to deprive the two Masters of their capacity to react to sudden surprises.

well some times a fake is better than the original

I feel this charade has gone on long enough, they're gonna find out eventually, we may as well come clean and let the cards fall where they may and save those command seals for the next battle that will definitely come

[X] Ruler-Breaker. Rule Breaker is the key to the final battle. No one has the experience of arms to fight in close quarters with the King of Knights, save for perhaps Shielder. But her hands are full, Hinako's aren't. Sever the connection of the Mud and cleanse Saber of her corruption. Of course, should at any point Saber attempt to strike Caster and succeed, the Noble Phantasm will disappear. Of course, this relies on Hinako clashing arms against King Arthur. There will be questions that no simple Age of Gods enhancement can waive away.

Hinako had her moment already, Olga and Medea didn't. I want to see magical nukes in action.

USING COMMAND SEALS BEFORE CAMELOT? WEAK.

I can't be shamed for choosing to use Command Seals for the Altera Fights in the Rome Singularity if I die before this quest gets there @Vocalend :V

Ummm.... sure. Whatever you say~

Also am somewhat surprised the bandwagon is tilted towards "Not-quite 1v1 against Salter". I thought I have stressed how dangerous Kirei was and here the majority wants to tangle with Salter.

Not that this is a rebuke, of course. Just me musing a bit.

Hinako's true worth is her combat and survival capability. She's a terrible Master in canon (although this quest seems to have changed that a little) but her physical prowess is on par with Servants. Plus, she can literally explode herself and reform if truly pressed, though that will definitely give her away.

I mean, the other option uses all of our command seals to set up a magic attack, but thats still going to take time where were vulnerable anyway, and were also dealing with a servant with magic resistance.

It does come across as a bit risky in terms of costs and effect.

If writein plans were a thing Id probably feel something along the lines of "Use *some* seals to power the mages in an effort to lock down saber and restrain her for long enough that you can dash in full speed with rule breaker. Indirect magic to get around the resistance somewhat and to avoid needing to properly toe to toe salter by taking advantage of vampiric speed as a surprise factor +restraints

Not sure if this will work but I think it's still better than basically screaming at Goetia's (well, Flauros') face that one of Chaldea's Masters is an immortal as the other option is liable to end up.

David has a line for pretty much exactly this: Half-measures wouldn't suffice.

Attempting to restrain Salter in this manner should not work. In F/SN, Medea tries just that against both Archer and Saber on separate occasions, freezing the space around Archer and holding Saber with the air around her. Those attempts restrain the Servants for exactly as long as they allow them to.

If Medea could conjure up a construct/familiar physically strong enough to hold Seiba in place, it would be a different story since MR does not dispel such (point in case: Archer's projections) but any constantly running thaumaturgy will shatter like glass around her.

Those two instances form a dangerous precedent: Medea underestimates MR so if such a plan is suggested. in character she won't have anything to object with unless she has a clear enough recollection of F/SN to remember those failed attempts.

Servants are weak to repeats of their legend, and King Arthur was struck down by Rule Breaker in the original FSN. It'll definitely work,

I feel that it is the more obviously risky of the two but in actuality is the safer option. We still get to use command seals as the battle drags when things go wrong.

I mainly don't like Rule Breaker as a plan because cleansing Saber sounds like a prelude to getting her to join the team, and I don't want Saber joining the team due to Total Saber Saturation in Fate.
