I think people may be overestimating the Freya-Luck thing. Since it says that 'Fate may bend around you if you know where to look' and doesn't actualy state anything of being more lucky in general, merely that we could potentially involve ourselves in something that has to do with fate.
Or maybe I'm getting it wrong as well but atleast that's what I understood from the option. Nonetheless Odin seems to be the way to go if we want to end up as Jarl/King or any sort of leadership position, maybe more of a raid leader or general before anything considering the culture.

+5 to one of our weakest stats (diplo) and slightly worse disaster rolls, but significantly better Event rolls, chaos for the trickster god. Who cares that he's almost single-handedly responsible for kicking of the events that lead to Ragnarok. Not like that's an omen of what's to come... right?

The stat increase alone is extremely nice imo.
