I was going with this in mind. It might be a game where we are conistantly at a unique LyLo so I'd rather focus on scum if we have a scum read...ahhh, only half done with ban. This day is going to leave a bad taste in my mouth no matter what I feel
 
Well Looks like I'm on the chopping block now.

I just finished my last midterm test, still feel a little nervous though.

Dusk of the Second Day

    • The day draws to an end, and the crowd murmurs ominously, closing in on their chosen victim. When it becomes apparent that Lysander Roth will not be leaving alive, he sighs and straightens his suit, saying his final piece.

    Then he explodes.

    The form of the aged butler is torn to shreds as another figure erupts from within the suit of skin, throwing itself at the crowd and burrowing into their ranks like an arrow into a wound. All anyone can glimpse are flashes of claws and fangs and sun-bronzed muscle as the monster rips its way through the ranks of the soldiers, before eventually dropping from the dozens of wounds it sustained during its rampage.

    Cautiously, the corpse is approached and examined. They prove to be one of the half-beast savages from the far south, which would normally raise questions as to "what the fuck is it doing here?", but the sigil of the Bloodletter Brotherhood etched into its flesh answers that question quite handily. It seems somebody left an assassin running around without calling them off.
    Night 2 begins. Night ends at:

    • The new corpse is discovered shortly after dawn. Despite the shattered jaw and pulverized rib cage, it is still identifiable as that of Captain Orton Vastare, head of the castle guard. Quite certainly a loyalist of the Kingdom of Merovin, but sadly not who many in the crowd are seeking.

    The crowd gathers again, though this time in the feasting hall rather than the throne room. They're still finding bits of people in the corners of yesterday's meeting place, and stepping on someone's eyeball is almost as unpleasant as stepping in manure.

    Err. I had a new theory on Nictis being scum but I could also easily see him as this guard captain. So I guess I'll wait with typing up a post until we know who's dead?

    Also nothing happened to me.
     
    Well, LttL actually being scum is a bullet dodged, I guess, but I feel like 'captain of the guard' probably means important town PR...
     
    Didn't feel well enough to put in my vote before, and slept past day's end, but it looks like that didn't matter much. Problem now is that LttL didn't really post enough to hint much at their scum buddies. I'd comb back through the votes, but unfortunately my laptop is having issues right now and it's obnoxious to do on my phone.

    Okay, so this is going to be a bit long. Here's a list of personal opinions I got on other people if you're not listed it means that I have no solid opinion on you. Mostly due to me not checking the thread as often as I should.

    @-Rosen: Dead. The first innocent casualty of the game.

    @QTesseract: Dead, the first night victim. Okay, so perhaps they were killed by either an assassin or an interrogator? The former is more likely I think.

    @PyrrosWarrior: Basically like me.

    @1KBestK: The most concerned with figuring the finer details of the game.

    @DimensionalGuy: Also basically like me.

    @Absum: Currently the one who's opinions are reasonings are the most appealing to me.

    @Evenstar: One of the more inquisitive players and the one who I'm most suspicious of currently. Mostly because of the above's reasonings.

    The only posts from LttL that I think could be used.

    I guess the only notable thing (to me) is liking Absum, and disliking Evenstar. This doesn't mean that Absum is Scum and Even is town, but that goes without saying.
     
    LttL didn't seem like maf flavour to me, tbh.

    Anyway wrt Nictis:
    • Has been constantly leaking info and hinting at knowing more and it really feels like fishing to me (especially once we got the D2 start flavour)
    • The focus on finding out whether I am an important role or not and trying to lynch me once he thinks I'm not <- this is probably the weakest reason for the rest of you but Nictis' reasons for lynching me still make little sense to me
    • Switching off of me to LttL when he's convinced I am scum. This is just bad as Town unless he was much less certain than he acted. As scum he'd have better reasons because otherwise he could end up as main driver of a mislynch two Days in a row (even if it was a 3-way tie at the time). Tbh as I actually had this theory before the LttL flip this probably plays a role in me reading LttL as not Maf.

      as trying to direct Town PR. It's much softer than I remembered now that I'm seeing it again but I don't super like it either.
    With Nani dead the only other people that immediately come to mind are Ban, Evenstar and Cyricubed. But Ban is literally gutfeels still and thus not actually worth a vote, case against Cyri is still weak and Evenstar I'm hoping will be able to participate more today because that read feels outdated and based on low activity.

    I'll try to look into a bunch of people not mentioned here to see if anything sticks out.
     
    @BanTheFairyKing: Just what I said. They didn't feel like a legit candidate: it was a blatant policy lynch. The fact that it hit scum anyway makes me suspect deliberate bussing of an inactive partner.

    Also, I was roleblocked last night, and would very much like the roleblocker to claim.

    We got invaded by black-clad legions/barbarians from Reim. This flavour is "a hidden half-beast assassin from a far-away land" that would normally prompt questions as to why it was here. Plus the line that's like "looks like someone forgot to call off an assassin" made me think more court intrigue stuff than invader-sent.

    I suppose it could still be an assassin sent by the invaders but even then the fact that it was the assassins guild that was named as LttL's faction would make me think they're not maf with the invaders.

    I mean, I'm still operating on the assumption that a SK wouldn't be included in this game, but even then the kill flavor seems to be pretty gruesome? And the name 'Bloodletter Brotherhood' makes me think 'more than one.' The part about leaving an assassin lying around does suggest working alone, but there seems to be hints either way. Also an SK seems less likely given we've had only one kill each night. At least that's my thought process.

    When I saw that LttL's faction name was Bloodletter Brotherhood, I thought Brotherhood = Mafia. Especially since I've yet to see a single shred of proof for the existence of an SK.

    "Flashes of claws and fangs" does not work together with pulped bodies and shattered bones.
    No second kill just made me move towards survivor or them having decided not to kill.

    Could also just be someone else doing the kill though, if they were maf. Because tbh if they were maf I really doubt they'd all have this flavour.

    I don't think atm we can know for sure and if one of you does analyse their posts with maf in mind I don't think that'd hurt, but I won't be doing that myself.
