Before I get into my personal reads I want to say, that while there have been some general fear of Rosen being a mislynch, no one has provided a reason as to why this could be a mislynch
Ugh, explaining is hard
Skimming the thread there was a mention of 1) Rosen being proud of being a hard to read player (playstyle argument), 2) Rosen just flat out making a bad play/mistake, etc., 3) not enough damning evidence to lynch Rosen, and 4) gut feeling that Rosen is a mislynch
These could explain why Rosen might not be maf, but it doesnt explain why Rosen might be town
Like, I try not to read people asymmetrically, especially if Ive never met them before, and the people who gave the reasons stated above didnt follow up on it as far as I can tell, or maybe they just kept their reasons to themselves?? idk
But I havent seen anyone take the extra step, critically thinking about why Rosens thoughts might be coming from a town mindset, they just looked at the general case and said "yeah, but could be townie, because x"
@Cyricubed if you see this before we hit EoD, could I ask you why Rosen went from a scum read to a neutral read?

I still think that the -Rosen lynch is founded rather weakly and I'm going to have to side-eye the main contributers if it ends bad like I'm guessing it's going to. On the other hand if -Rosen actually flips scum I'm going to be surprised and confused.

I never got to it but Absum's later responses right pretty alright although I still can't shake some bad feelings. I no longer have a scum read, but I by no means have a town read on them right now.
After re-reading through everything I found that the main issues seemed to stem from a disagreement on playstyle or what could be garnered from this and that. It wasn't that what -Rosen was doing was pro-town really, but it wasn't Pro-Scum either, it was just...noise. Now stuff could be garnered from that noise but I think the lynch wagon started on a shaky basis and really turned...into this situation where no one wanted to look away from and just attracted attention. Might as well call it a sticky lynch because most who drew into it didn't bother looking elsewhere or pushing elsewhere...and instead...just really stayed on lynch. A decent portion of this read is a gutread as well. I just don't think Scum!Rosen would adapt to this playstyle, for that matter I don't really see much of scum!Anyone adapting that, at least imo. I don't really have time for quotes but saw this as I was posting up a page.
Ughh...Looking at Evenstars response and lynch vote on 1K I'm not really...liking that. But I'm still trying to shake last games "This is my mason buddy keep them safe" mentality so maybe that's poisoning my view of it but either way I'm not liking that direction she took.

This is the point I was making earlier. In that no one is looking for other options and rather...just choosing to stay on the -Rosen Lynch. If we had a closer wagon or at least a solid second option(As I'm not really gaining traction on anyone for TD it seems...) I'd be happier but as it stands....blegh...
I want to make a case that 1K did point out a giant point: Even has more or less been heavy background although that post earlier was the first I had seen regarding university work so... arrgg.
Happerry and DG both need to post more, I'd like to see more meat from QT but their really isn't enough time for any of that.

Is this a good or a bad thing, I'm genuinely a bit confused on that list.
Also to note, I still think my pushing on TD is more or less justified, the whole hinting at 3rd party thing, coming to the defense of Absum for no tactile reasoning, and then claiming town has me thinking they're scum trying to pocket Absum(Which if I read absum's posts correctly now failed to do so) or they're just playing...really...really...weird, in a bad way.

Absum, TurtleDucks, Rosen, Evenstar, and Nani. Admittedly with Nani nobody really bothered to follow up on it, and I'll cop to getting distracted, but there were other unrelated wagons or potential wagons. It's just that Rosen is the only one that has gotten more than a lukewarm response, although not by much.

ISOing people confuses me when I try to do it on D1, because Im afraid that I may end up putting the horse before the cart
What I focus on D1, is not the content of the post, but the tone of the posts

+Said the random/RNG thing was a joke, which lined up with what I was reading on him so far
Then the accusations started happening, and when I try to see this from his POV, I would think:
"crap Im definitely town but at this rate i might end up mislynched and mislynches are BAD because while trying to hit scum D1 is hard as #?!$, as town its my responsibility to save my fellow townies from mislynches so i should try to calm them down"
When Nictis and Meso started pushing him in earnest, again if I try to see this from his POV id be getting really frustrated at them for FOSing me, frustrated at myself maybe for poorly thought out responses, this wasnt supposed to happen, etc
Moving away from this, Im not throwing shade at Nictis and Meso or accusing them of tunneling because as weird as it sounds, pushing people you scumread until you end up townreading them is not anything new, and people like to argue
And this is why I am NOT voting for Rosen, but someone else

I know...it's both frustrating and I don't know what to do about it when we're 10 away.
Tone reads aren't bad at this point Imo, I don't think I've tried to do any tone reads actually but I believe the thought process came to mind last game. No wait, backpedaling here, that was part of the reason I voted Mendel that game at the end of the game.

Also I don't recall if I mentioned it but so far I'm working without notes as it seems to make it a bit easier for me to throw out comments. Not sure if I'll keep it up the entire game because I think I'm gonna need it for connecting people soon but it was something I wanted to try this game.

Tone reads are understandable but don't work for me. I'll always want to town read upset people who're up for lynch, but then I've seen scum be upset about it as well (for the same reason, i.e. arguments from town perceived as bad) and that's before lying comes into play even.
