To Bring Hope and Glory: No SV, You are the Headmaster of a Hero Academy (Canceled)

You are correct. That is why her age is unknown to much of the world, and why she covers up.

Covers up her age, or literally covers herself up?

If people did know of that, everyone this side of the world would be trying to capture Vita for that power.

She's well-known as the Lifebringer, that power alone is something worth capturing & controlling. Seeing as Vita isn't currently being forced to create an army of Super-Dragons or resurrect some Demon race... I don't think people will flip out over basic Youth Restoration.

Both. She wears a few illusions and spells to keep her body safe in battle, and what she wears because she cannot for the life of her stand to be seen by anyone because of anxiaty.

What, you gave the pic and choose the traits, I just created the plot with what I had and what you gave me, along with how the character is supposed to act.

Most nations, monsters hell even most dragons wouldn't be able to hold her.

She's that good at magic.

Fair enough, and I don't really want to describe how "Mancipium" (aka the Character Artwork used) looks naked anyways. I will confirm the veil isn't meant to conceal the character's age.

I am curious exactly how strong Vita is suppose to be though. Hmm... for a future turn, could we grow some Dryads to increase the Academy's natural defenses? Some forest spirits to keep spies and soldiers away sounds useful.

You made her shy, so with the pic you gave me, I took it as her not really liking people seeing her face and the rest of her body.

Oh, there will be some events that will most certainly show her strength.

That... is actually rather correct. Huh. Whatever the case, I was really just pointing out (what isn't) the reason for the artwork itself. Ultimately your quest, and I'm the one who provided the image. Still think you should link to Renu's thread, so people know who made the artwork.

Anyways, I look forward to how this quest develops. Hmm, can you provide some guidelines or something regarding Student Omakes? I wanted to try writing some, with the idea they are others Vita created.

Which does not seem to be increasing her Personal Combat.
Because Magic is diffrent then fighting with a sword and shield, and it uses the learning skill, not the PC.

Done.

There is one student from the east who is off limits, and there are students from all different (given) races here.

They can be a slice of life stories or backstories. Mission reports are open only on options that I do not write omakes for.

So basically, unless I say otherwise, they will be canon and fair game.

So in your opinion Magoose, now that the choices passed, what would have been the optimal teacher choices? In terms of experience and benefits down the line.

All the mages would have been good magic instructors.

Nero is the only good deputy headmaster.

As for benefits... not telling.

--[X] Nero

Nero and Barry can wait a turn. I feel we should try to declare Neutrality ASAP. Beyond that, I agree about picking supplies and the lift.

As for missions, I felt it was in-character for Vita to supervise the midwife mission for the first turn. In the future, I'd probably maximize for her bonus. Since everyone else is less defined, I'm focusing more on mission success. I left the missions with 50% success for later. I also double-stacked one of the 75% mission since they're harder, and put Nero on one of them for the same reason.

@Magoose, I have some questions.

First; Am I right in assuming that we have a working armory from the start this time, or will that require an action once we've finished surveying the school?

Second; On the Culture Map, it says that Rusanic names are "Ruth"-something that's cut off. Am I right in assuming it's supposed to be "Ruthenian"? If not, what is it?

Third; The Culture Map also says that Hantzu names are Chinese, yet both of the examples we have (Izuku and Asuna) have Japanese names unless I'm very much mistaken. While they aren't the only ones to not conform to what I believe is the naming convention of their culture (and I believe Izuku has the excuse of being based a character from an actual series, something he has in common with other oddballs Edward, Pyrrha, and Zelda), can we get an explanation regarding these apparent exceptions to the naming conventions?

Fourth; According to the Culture Map, southern Flokland, south-eastern Bretlia and a very small part of northern Kaplodia are all Rusanic, despite their countries otherwise being Angshire (Flokland and Bretlia) or Schwarzen (Kaplodia). Is this intentional, or an error?

Fifth, and this is less important right now; What is a Dark Knight in this setting?

Yes.

It is Ruthinien/Russian names.

Because most heroes from Hantzu choose names off of stories, and do not use normal names while doing hero work.

Those are Enclaves of Foreign cultures within other nations, just like in real life.

Well, that's . . . concerning. And convenient for me if I ever get around to writing Omakes for this.

*clears throat* Anyway, one more question regarding Hantzu names; Are they Family Name first, Given Name second, the other way around, or do they not (usually) have family names?
