To Bring Hope and Glory: No SV, You are the Headmaster of a Hero Academy (Canceled)

New question, @Magoose; The description for the Schwarzen Culture says that the Schwarzens are rivals to both the Talians and the Romains. The description for the Romain Culture, on the other hand, only says the Romains are rivals to the Rusanics. Is this an error, or is the rivalry between the Schwarzens and Romains one-sided?

One sided.

Zelda: "Not again."

Jasper: "How many times do we have to fix this!?"

Nero: "Talion, do you still have a teleport stone we can use?"

Talion: *is drinking from hip-flask**pauses* "I'll have to get back to you on that." *resumes drinking*
No. The Actual tower is in need of repair, not the equipment.

You need to find the equipment to replace the stuff... or buy it.

@Magoose, I've got a couple new questions.

First; Can we get some information regarding Beastmasters and what they do? Vladimier's bio doesn't really tell me much.

Second; You said that a Master rank in the Classes we were offered would give +10 to one stat, +7 to another, and +1 to the rest. However, most if not all of our teachers don't follow this, with most of them getting higher bonuses to at least one stat (Jasper being the most extreme if I'm not mistaken, with +20 to both Martial and Personal Combat, in addition to +5 Learning), sometimes at a lower rank (such as Talion's +12 Diplomacy). Is this an error, or am I not understanding something?

Beastmasters control animals to fight their battles for them. Vlad, as a pack Alpha, can make his wolves fight along side them.

That was for the classes in character creation, as a trade-off for the special trait that you were allowed to take.

Okay, that's helpful, but there's still one thing I'd like to know. Namely, can any of our students be Beastmasters without having to jump through any hoops or anything, or is it some kind of Prestige Class that has to be unlocked?

Students can become beastmasters, however, they have to have animal tongue. Which only the people of Angshire can have... so its a really a class unique to Angshire.

That much I kind of figured. Main reason I was asking is because I've got a character in my head who I was thinking I might make a Beastmaster, but she's one of the younger students (still a preteen), and I wanted to be sure that would still fly without needing her to be a prodigy or something.

That's understandable, but most beasts are very hard to train, and most need to be trained from birth to have a chance to be a beastmaster.

And I mean the beast, not the student. Although being raised by the animal you want to be the master over also helps:V

Case in point, Vladimier. :V

That said, with that in mind, I think I'll just make her one of the more standard Classes. The main reason I was thinking of her being a Beastmaster was that I see her as having a particular soft spot for animals, so her being a Beastmaster seemed like a nice way to reflect that. Oh well, though.

We should really get the Gondolas done now, it'll save so much time in-universe that the characters could get productive stuff done.

How long is the vote open?

Also, some more questions.

First; Is it still Saren the Kind that Jasper killed, or has that part been changed?

Second; How widely known is the context in which Jasper killed his king? Were the king's actions covered up, or are they well known?

Third; Can Homunculi have hair or eye colors that aren't normal for humans?

Fourth; Zelda's version of Kind is different from Vita's. Is this an error?

How long is the vote open?
Thursday most likely.
First; Is it still Saren the Kind that Jasper killed, or has that part been changed?
Same.
Second; How widely known is the context in which Jasper killed his king? Were the king's actions covered up, or are they well known?
It was not well known and it was a coverup.
Third; Can Homunculi have hair or eye colors that aren't normal for humans?
Yes.
Fourth; Zelda's version of Kind is different from Vita's. Is this an error?
Because Vita is special from Everyone else she got a few diffrent/buffed traits.

New question, @Magoose; Can Blademasters use a bow and arrows, or are they a melee only class (bar throwing a melee weapon as an improvised projectile)?

Couple more questions, @Magoose.

First; Is the armory in the same building as the dorms and staff quarters or the main academy?

Second; Same question regarding the mess hall.

Going to be throwing out my issues with other people's plans here, so I'm sorry in advance if my tone comes off as more hostile than intended.

[X] Plan Getting Started
By far the one I have the most issues with, no offense intended. Firstly, you don't have us getting supplies this turn, which at best means we'll be taking penalties on the Student Missions. On top of that, you also have both Vita and Zelda on Midwife duties, which is extremely inefficient because Vita gives a +10 to whatever Student Mission she's assigned to, which is pretty much wasted on something that already has a 95% chance of success and makes Zelda's involvement completely redundant.

Leaving aside the arguments about whether or not we can afford to put off Declare Neutrality, you've only assigned seven out of our ten staff members.

[X] Plan: Orientation Week
Again, you aren't having us get supplies, which means we'll be taking penalties on the Student Missions.

[X] Plan: A Safe Beginning
My only complaint about this plan specifically is that Vita has been assigned to Midwife duties, which you have already said was a decision based on characterization, so there's not much I can say here.

Lastly, as general issues I have, all of these plans pass up on Headmaster Duties, and all but Orientation week pass up Formalize class Schedules, both of which give bonuses to Student Mission rolls (for six turns in the case of Formalize class Schedules), which together would give us over 100% chance of success on the easier missions, 90% chance of success on the medium difficulty missions, and 65% chance of success on Patrol the Border, all before factoring in Vita, Nero, and the possibility of having multiple teachers assigned to the same mission.

Also, speaking of Patrol the Border . . .

[]Patroling the Border: The Kingdom of Newbury needs Heroes to patrol the border to Sano. Cost: 100 Chance of Success: 50% Reward: 100 prestige. 1000 Gold, 500 EXP.
First, we are in Flokland unless I am very much mistaken. And second, Newbury doesn't have a border with Sano.
