[X] Not Yet- The boy's going to a nightclub, with a cute girl all but hanging off his arm so they ward barflies off of each other. Let him rest. God knows he's earned it. This is something future Jaune can worry about.

[X] Yes- regardless of everything else, this should be probably be taken into consideration when planning your next move with the Process. Like, no matter how you want to cut it, Jaune's going to find out anyway. You might as well nip it in the bud.

[X] Inform James Ironwood of what just happened, but don't try to twist his arm. He's likely going to want to control the information anyway- maybe not a full coverup, but making sure public opinion doesn't turn against AIs is something we both want.

Ironwood will probably want us to remove the virus from CCT if canon roles around. Owing him a favour is not bad as it could be.
Though, I could be missing something...

Edit: Changed vote.

[X] Another Option- ... James Ironwood is a prick, but he's a useful prick, who wants to work with you, and has plenty of reason to think you won't.Twisting his arm for a favour... risky, and you'd rather owe Torchwick a favour rather than this guy, but there's no coverup like an Atlesian military coverup. (This is essentially Not Yet but with danger rolls for spice, and a chance to regain some anonymity to grow the Process in before going public.)

"... Thank you. I... just, don't feel like being alone right now."

uh oh

UH OH

Is this since Jaune has had to deal with stuff like this so often recently, or because he has seven sisters? I can see either being the case.

Honestly, I'm down for any excuse to collaborate with Ironwood. Hell, if we get the process covered up as an Atlesian secrete project that was only able to see the light of day since a Schnee was in danger, that's fine too.

Controlling the story is far more important than covering it up at this point.

This is something that needs to be addressed now, and doing it with Weiss nearby is sure to give us access to her absurd resources. Neither of them really want to go to a nightclub, they just want to stick together and have something to do so they don't dwell on their near-deaths. This is an important task they can focus on and distract them.

But since no one else seems to be voting on that due to the reasonable fear of overstressing Juane

Jaune is shell-shocked and more than a bit of a hot head here too. He needs time to collect himself, figure out exactly how he's going to be developing the Process in light of this development and how to sell it to the world.

This sounds like hilarious fun.

Re-re-re-restar-ting prev-pre-previou-s prograaaaaaaaaaaaAAA-
Because I don't see enough talk about this part, let me point out that this is pretty much exactly why Transistor the game happens.

To quote myself elsewhere:
Camarata: "Transistor, process Red."
Also Camarata: Hrm, collateral dama--what does "404 not found" mean?
Also also Camarata: oh no

Just wanted you to know, that avatar proves you are possessed of trully excellent taste.

And you think going to a crowded, noisy nightclub is going to help with that? Especially when both participants agree that they don't like them, and are going mostly to get themselves drunk...
I think trying to relax as two relatively normal teenagers drinking alcohol and getting swept up in the atmosphere of a club than waxing paranoid about the process or Jaune adding another person to his evidently growing kill list.

Blowing off some steam in a relatively safe environment with a friend is inarguably more emotiaonlly healthy than trying to forcibly confront all these issues at once. Worst case Weiss and Jaune find a booth, have a few drinks and observe the club life while making awkward conversation. The horror.

Holy moly what an update. Reading this is always a treat.
Letting the two kids decompress will do more good than scrambling for control of the info. It's already out there and the damage done, no point forcing the issue and making the situation worse.

Penny got brought up, which is a good point - there are other AIs that would be affected by the fallout of this, beyond just the Process and the Transistor. Plus, more Atlas cooperation is absolutely a good thing, in the long run.
