One of the first things you realize, in the morning, is that you now have black stains all over your only pair of shoes that are comfortable to run in. You're not exactly prideful in your appearance, but if anyone notices that you have what amounts to Shadow blood all over your feet... that could be a problem.
Now, you can't do all that much about the stains that are already there. But you can keep yourself from acquiring more. It's really simple, actually- you just need to stop kicking Shadows in the face.
Yes, we are not Satonaka-san.
Of course, to do that, you need an alternative fighting method that won't run out in the middle of a battle. Or run the risk of finding a Shadow that is immune to it. Okay, so the second one might be a bit harder to avoid, but that doesn't mean that you don't need to do so. More elements is good for that, right? Sure, you've got a Physical thing, but you'd rather have one that doesn't injure you when it's in use.
You need a proper weapon. Thankfully, you have basic training in one, technically. But where are you supposed to find a spear?
I don't know. Equipment was never something I really had to think about...
You suppose you could use a simple substitute- anything properly long and pointy will do- but even that, you have no idea where to find it. Or where to hide it, or... you'll have to do a lot of thinking for this, won't you?
...You suppose you could take a card from Hama and use it to trim a tree branch to your specifications... right, and you could probably fit it under your bed if you try hard enough... or just make your room the slightest bit messier. It won't be perfect, but nothing ever is, and it means you're sure to get something that you can carry.
..If you knew how to make a weapon. And could find a branch. And lots of other things. Well, at least you have a sort of plan for your weekend. Time to get started.
Acquiring a tree branch is actually fairly easy, when you have magical cards to throw. The first one misses, but the second one knocks down a branch of decent size, which you quickly drag off before nobody notices. Once that's done, you set to work crafting your own weapon.
By no means would you ever call it a proper spear. Really, you just strip off the bark and turn the tip into a proper point. You don't think it'll be all that good at stabbing things, but it's still better than nothing, and it at least gives you something to practice with.
You also wrap the not-pointy end with duct tape, to make a sort of handle for it. It looks a bit ridiculous, but it's not like you're aiming for style here.
I can't even say we're doing a lot for functionality.
You end up hiding your 'spear' under your bed, where nobody will find it unless they go looking. Which they might, but you're not too worried about that. You did, after all, make sure to try and keep it out of sight of the various people in the building.
Now that that's done, you need to think of what to do next. (Pick up to three)
