We will probably have to limit power of the monarch down the line if we go with stability and not angering Arthryn.
Maybe giving Elders and priests more powers to act as check on power of the monarchs .

Well how do they both feel about it?

And yes, I'm thinking we main temple and if possible, blame the resulting famine on the king to give him the boot.

But there is also the fact Arthryn is the only one who is against a hereditary monarchy. Everyone else is neutral or actively for it. Plus both Wyrn and Evalyn support the hereditary monarchy and they are both goddesses well. At the end of the day, they had to choose, the Arthwyd would go for Divine Royal Family over Born Equal, but since they are all terrified of angering Arthryn by doing that. In-universe, the hereditary monarchy has popular support and the majority of the People think that having it is in the best interests of the People.
I do find it kinda hilarious that Hereditary Monarchy is mainly opposed by the autocratic action of the local ruler.

@Oshha why didn't Arthryn simply revoke her blessing for royal family, that way they wouldn't be better than rest of the people in everything and myth about their superiority would be broken.

I do as well. In regards to this, I keep thinking of this quote:
Captain America said:
Doesn't matter what the press says. Doesn't matter what the politicians or the mobs say. Doesn't matter if the whole country decides that something wrong is something right.

This nation was founded on one principle above all else: The requirement that we stand up for what we believe, no matter the odds or the consequences. When the mob and the press and the whole world tell you to move, your job is to plant yourself like a tree beside the river of truth, and tell the whole world -- "No, YOU move."

@Oshha why didn't Arthryn simply revoke her blessing for royal family, that way they wouldn't be better than rest of the people in everything and myth about their superiority would be broken.

Why would she do that? They haven't done anything to deserve it.

Meh. Hail our glorious kings and queens!

Hmm

Considering how all of our vassals are now worshipers of Arthryn, will any of them contribute to the building of the Grand Temple? @Oshha

I wonder, why would the Goddess who believes that all are born equal remove the blessing that everybody has for only a specific family?
Because they're presumably all part of the conspiracy to seize power? I mean I still find the idea Bronwyn did it all by herself and nobody else is to blame to be pretty nonsensical. She's a Diplo Hero not a mind controller, and if no one else her own family would know her true intentions, since they'd likely agree with her. Even if they didn't know what she was thinking they'd probably independently come to the same conclusion.

No. The Merntir will be doing their own thing under Vynad rather than helping complete an Arthwydish megaproject while the Maradysh will be working on that shrine backlog.

Both now that you mention it.

It cancels out the effects of the Arthwyd getting a hereditary monarchy and the Divine Royal Family value.

The way i see it she is advocating for equality and that everyone have the same opportunity and chance yet now we have one single family with more blessings, clear sign of divine favour, so logical thing to do would be for her to either give everyone the same blessing like with royal family ( wich would require Evalyn to do it i think or is impossible for her) or to simply revoke her blessing for them to even the odds.

This way it looks only like she is supporting royal family .

Arthryn disagrees with you and your logic.

I'm really confused about the whole put her family before her people thing. Maybe I need to go back and reread but I never got the feeling that Bronwyn went home at night to kick puppies and plot on how best to steal candy from babies.

Hmm, I do admit to being a little worried about the Merntir.
If they consider a Temple to our Goddesses to not be both ours and theirs, then that sounds like the start or continuation of some sort of schism, either culturally (which is already happening) or religiously (we'll build our own Temple which truly represents the Goddesses!)

All this proves is that you really can't rely on gods. The shitty ones try to fuck you over "for your own good" and the good ones aren't willing to protect you from their shitty siblings.
