Preferably we would have gone to a teacher after having a murder revealing vision, which nearly broke our nose, but that's real world me worrying about Protaganist things they don't typically have to haha.
Isn't that what we did though?
Mainly I'm amused that we're a missing student plot hook in Potter's story waiting to happen. :V Disappearing down mysterious tunnels and casually investigating our way into the clutches of whatever new doomsday device is under Hogwarts this year.
We are aren't we?

After almost a week of not saying anything to anyone. We smashed our face after the vision on the 24th, had it figured out on paper by the 27th, and met with Professor Flitwick on the 30th. Not a big deal this time, but all our investigations might not be as slow burning.

Like it's very in character for Jacob now, but I'm hoping to wean him away from it!

Don't be such a Hufflepuff :D

In all seriousness, we're a pure Ravenclaw. Going to someone else to solve the problem we're working on when there's still more for us to do is against our nature.

It's like expecting Harry to not stumble into that year's plot.

[X] Hello Professor – Stay for another few minutes and try to talk to Professor Flitwick. You have not had the chance to talk to your Head of House since both of you had been thrown against his office walls like ragdolls.

Hello professor is winning right now and vote has slowed down a little but it can go back and forth depending on what Tabla Rasa says.

[X] Wands up – It seems as if for the first time in your life there is someone that sees you as their rival in something other than academic prowess. Tracey Davis is working hard to keep up with your dueling progress, you can tell. Go and talk to her.

Whelp I changed my mind again.

Simply because it feels much more in character.

Oh it does. Probably cuz it is.

Seems like it'd be interesting.

[x] Look behind your shoulders – While he is steadily looking upwards, trying to catch up to those that are finishing their education in a desperate bit to surpass them before they leave the school, you have your eyes on his back. Cedric Diggory might be the most talented and hard-working member of the club… but that was only until you had joined the class. Go and talk to him.

That is ridiculous if it wasnt in character for wands up to be a thing then the GM wouldn't make it an option much more importantly this logic essentially advocates for no character growth and stagnancy. Wands up is more interesting frankly in what it will do.
QM allows players to take whatever direction they desire. But let me rephrase that. Hello Professor is the most in character option.

Just started reading this quest today. It's excellent, that sally-anne arc really got me in the feels.

I'm going for this option as I feel Jacob could really do with someone to talk to about this and hopefully get some closure. Plus I feel he needs to talk to flitwick about it regardless. The wands up option looks interesting though, he could definitely do with some friends :D

I do have a question about mechanics though. Are skill levels also year specific? i.e a 5th year with an A+ skill level in transfiguration will know more spells in this area and also be more skilled in this area than a 4th year with an A+ skill level in transfiguration.
