[x] Offer to exchange knowledge of farming in return for something from the Outsiders.

Trading for it sounds even better. We got a trade civ starting spot if we can make it work.

I'd really rather not assimilate them yet. Our population is too low to do so without friction

[X] Teach the Outsiders how to farm and let them set up their own village.

asking nothing in return will be odd but curious on what'll happen in the future? will they think them as kind? wise?, wierd? or weak?
will they be grateful?, indepted? confuse? or smug?
will it be remembered or be forgotten in the future?

Based on the way they demanded the tech if we ask for nothing i feel like it will come off as weak to them.

being underestimated is also a good trait. and pride might help give them some info on the nomads
Arth is crafty fellow when he's young right

plus he did say
Arth also insisted on showing kindness and charity to others, even when it there was seemingly no use to them. When questioned by the other kids, Arth claimed that by treating your fellows with kindness, especially in their time of need, they would remember that kindness and help you in turn in their time of aid

While i agree with that these people literally came prepared to fight us for the tech if talking failed we dont need them to see us as weak or willing to bend. Also i think we need to ramp up are military after this.

Second update.

Also quick question but what is our population?

You don't know that for sure. Arth believe they may, but he isn't sure as he may be running into things which don't exist.
Arth is also under the impression that they will try to take the knowledge of farming by force, but he acknowledges that as a silver tongue himself, he may be reading too much into Vryn's words and seeing hidden meanings where there are none.

They don't seem interested in joining, so I don't see the point in offering.

Actually at this point it seems that they are about to leave their old way of life and traditions behind and settle down like our tribe did.
So if there is a moment to offer them to join it is now because later on it will be harder and will require us to do more things down the road and they will be harder to integrate.

Not to mention that if we fail now we can always offer exchange of knowledge and be on our own way.

Since the voting has died down and there is a clear lead, I am going to call the vote so I can start planning the next update.

I can also now reveal that Vryn is a Martial Hero.

If this succeeds we have two hero unit's.

Technically yes, but without a fight to win or a military to improve, a Martial hero is somewhat useless. I was just more pointing out that getting into a fight with the Outsiders, which you had two opportunities to do so, would have ended rather poorly for you.

Maybe have her set up village guard as a predecessor for the army.
