Mandat de l'impératrice des Cieux - Imperial Princess Troubleshooter Space Opera Quest

[X] Member of the Regency Council. You would give up being Vicereine and represent the Royal Family on the Regency Council; if the Empress need you for a personal mission, you would need to quite discrete, but this would be the option of least drama.

[X] Princess Yui: Imperial Court (Politics)
    [X] Daniel O'Farrell (Intel +)
[X] Imperial Regent. You would give up being Vicereine, become the Regent and the head of the Regency Council, and you'd be ruling in Empress Meigyoku's name. But this choice might spark conflict with the Great Houses.

@Whiskey Golf is the Count Alastor an NPC and can we recruit him as a subordinate.

Changing my vote to this after thinking it over and rereading the last post.

Hrrm.
I'm kind of inclined to roll with the Derpress's move here honestly.
I mean, Sumeragi sounds like they'll never stop trying to avenge that humiliation until they have an Emperor of their own.
So they're going to be annoying always.
What I'm thinking basically is that we want Yui to not look like a weak Empress-if we become a stopper for her excesses, that puts attention on us as the real power behind the throne.
The compromise plan sounds like a fast track to headaches for everyone and then some and doesn't even fix any problems, as we're basically setting up a 1-2 punch of poke around before the hammer falls, and that sounds like a good way to spook peeps into suddenly RIOT before the golden armada flattens everything.
And again- I suspect SV won't have the intrigue to keep quiet...
I dunno.

All I'll say is that you'll learn about him and Yonatan in the next update. :doggosqueeze:

Er, we're playing as Yui. The Empress is Meigyoku (reign name)/Ahri (personal name).

Well tbf Yui is like, 29 to Ahri's 16.... adressing her as onee-sama is in fact not inappropriate.

Otoh maybe Ahri's adoration is going a bit too far? Hmmmm.....

Eh I guess so lng as she isn't behaving loke Azur Lane's Portland, there's still hope.

I was more saying that to kinda say 'not his time missy, maybe later.' But uhh, yeah.

Oh great. So the reigning monarch is like Richard Cameron II, only with tits and foxtails. Bet that's gonna go swell.

Fuck half-measures. Seize power before everything catches fire, or at least get a good chunk of it and solidify it.

This will ruffle some tails, but I think that it will work out fine in the end. Because of our adjutant, we have the intel chops to find out what problems are going to arise, hopefully early enough to head them off at the pass, so to speak. We will also have the power to take action to assuage the concerns of important people. Finally, the arrangement is temporary, and will put us in a good place in the future, due to our father being on the council.

Lemme pitch in on this enterprise a bit:
