which is why stalling is such a good idea.
Danzo is forced to end this as quickly as he can.
Every moment taken is one where the Konoha forces might catch on.
Their sensors will eventually sense the ongoing battle.
Personally, I want to focus primarily on the elements. I've stated that I'm hoping to achieve a level of proficiency with them that's so high that we can mix and match them at will and create new jutsus on the fly, at the expense of any skills that aren't 100% critical to being a ninja.
I consider chakra control a relevant skill we should train for our combat effectiveness, yes. I didn't mean sparring or something specific like that by combat training.
As I understand it, Medic training is combination of studying and chakra-control training. Studying would improve our Int and Anatomy score without wasting chakra, Chakra-control training would consume chakra, but would make any further chakra-based training much more effective. Overall those 10%-25% you want to spent on other Combat training would go for Chakra control either way.

I don't see being able to kill Danzo unless we get the miracle of the Second Magic.. in a 7 year old body. While not remembering how to do it.. Yeahhh...
Two reasons.
First is opportunity cost. The time spent learning medical ninjutsu would be better spent on social activities or other training. Additionally we also already know the Uzumaki bite technique as a last resort heal, we can save anyone from immediate death and take them to a real healer.
Second is theme. I'd rather have rin fit a defined role than be another min max generalist build. I think that not being able to heal is an interesting narrative choice. I liked how most s rank ninja couldn't heal, it makes the fights more dramatic. The Jiraiya fight wouldn't have the same impact if he could have snuck away and healed himself.

Those are support stats we get some use out of anyway, yes, but as we develop our medical skills we will also spend training actions on stuff like mystic palm technique or specialized medical skills. I want to spend those training actions elsewhere so I'm voting to decline her offer. It's as simple as that. I don't know why you're trying to turn this into a debate.

No. Not really. Not only is Rin not one to let others bite her and permanently scar her body, the Healing Bite is last resort because of the massive Chakra drain it gives. Medical Ninjutsu is more efficient. And no, Chakra control does not decrease the cost.

Truthfully, I just don't want medical training with a ghost. Nothing about that sounds as interesting or fun as the alternatives, and I don't want to pay the opportunity cost for a skill I'm just not all that interested in developing.
Note: I would want medical training if it were our thing. I wouldn't mind knowing a thing or two about first aid. But our deal is more elemental mastery, and my main goals are to reach the apex of that, and to hang out with people we care about, and learning from the ghost distracts from both those goals.
Sealing, on the other hand, sounds like a great thing to train in our pursuit of true magic. Especially if we're among the best in the village. And it involves spending time with our mom, which is always a good idea since dad just died. Our mom who will hopefully not be dead at the end of the next update.

Shisui and Jiraiya both have A++ Sealing skill. Mom had/has S+. We have a solid A.
Spoilers:
Mom will live. QM told me that. Though depending on how evil he feels, don't be surprised if Mom is brain damaged to insanity. Best case scenario is her being brain damaged, sane, but paralyzed to the waist down.

Jiraiya has either A++ or A+++. (Edit: A+++ to S-) Danzo has A+++ or S-. Sarutobi has A+ or so.
Orochimaru has A++ A+++, as does Tsunade. Kakashi and Itachi have around the B rank mark. Who else...?
Edit:
Kushinada was the first person to have Sealing in the EX ranks. Ashina, Mito's father, was the only one to be better than Kushinada in many generations, and likely has 'best in history' status. Mito improved upon Ashina's methods, but she didn't have his creativity, so she doesn't get a Sealing skill above his.
(He also made a watered-down sealing style to give Konoha to use, but he truly did revolutionize the Uzumaki Fuuinjutsu too.)
As for Minato, if he hadn't died so young, he would probably have reached 'best in history' status. Sasori is currently 'best in the world' with S++, soon to be S+++/S++++
No sense locking out any path of advancement. I don't want to be dedicated mednin either, as that wouldn't be an efficient use of our strengths, but I also don't intend to ignore the skillset entirely if there's synergy with our other skills to be had. Nothing in the middle vote forces us to invest heavily into it if we don't want to, especially not anytime soon.
