The Amber Age: Pantheon Edition (Collaborative)

SO. There has been an important clariication on the Discord. Namely that you need Avatar 3 to make babies. This is bad, because Ashform only gives us Avatar 2.

If we want Avatar 3 (and I do), we need to throw in an Aspect as well. Sadly for @xtra_ore, an element alone isn't enough (word of PoM). So that leaves us with Hawk, Great Lizard and Hairless Ape. As a once purveyor of Plan Proper Reptile, I feel kinda obligated to vote for it.

And some babies we have with him will have some of Ashform's ethereal-ness. And. And we will get to meet him looking fucking awesome.

A freaking Ash Dragon of Death. This is metal. It is so metal the ground should turn to steel and spikes when we wake up as our BGM plays in the background.

Also. We'll be sleeping for 5 to 7 turns and given his stats AN'WAH'HEI will make a huge kingdom for us to wake up to pleasantly surprised. I really would like to see how big he can make it on his own.

Actually, given the lack of a Combat bonus I've managed to convince myself Greater Lizard is in fact the Large Herbivore Reptile option.

So we might end up with an Ash Turtle of Death, which is slightly less metal. Or perhaps Ash Iguana of Death...

Make the Kingdom powerful and then build shrines afterwards to have them remain faithful as we go to sleep. I really don't want some other spirit to mosey on up on our turf while we're gone.

Hm.

Invade other territories in case there are spirits who might mess with you while you're sleeping... so they won't mess with you while you're sleeping because you invaded them?

Something occurred to me, that if you get a form, you'll get an Avatar rating. And with that, not only will you have more actions, but you'll probably be able to unlock more options to gain DE. Could be worth?

That would be very useful as DE is our constraint currently. Though we only need Ashform for that and we should be able to hit faith 3 in a turn or two depending on what actions we take.

Also for resources- inside our borders, Salt, Incense and Dye. Resource cluster to the west of our shrine: Iron, Gold, Stone, Gems, Cattle, Dye, Spices (this is only partially visible), N of the ? tile, Truffles. To the S/SW Citrus and Dyes. So yes three sources of dyes plus the unique dye from the ash shrine

Also that is labeled as Kut Shrine so maybe we can work on making one for Amatsae that would give us bonuses, though we will likely either need a special spot like the ash tile or the appropriate crafting and resources to make something worth a bonus (say by using those resources to our west), though we lack the craftsman skill.

True but I prefer a form of earth and fire, though getting ashform as the first piece and following up with fire and earth elements works for me.

Also on fire, we need glass for our ritual, well a good way to do that is to use fire on sand (earth). So that way lies magic as well.

Sand is a special T2, like Ash. So you'll probably have to go to build a shrine on a coastal area in order to gain access to it, in all honesty.

thanks for the heads up. was 45% joking and while I'd prefer the Hawk(because phoenixes are my mythological murder beast of choice) I'm totally down for this.
 
I am so conflicted on this on the one hand Ash Dragon on the other more conquest:???:. Also just got done rereading Harzi Updates where he nuked the shit out of everything and I am left wondering? How can we top such beautiful vicious obliteration:cry:

We'll make our own way. I wouldn't be surprised if we simply stood alone amongst the fallen and marked the worthy dead. Seems more interesting to me that the ash dragon claims all rather then instigates the destruction itself.

But as as a God of Death just imagine all the horrible calamites and nightmarish acts of divine wrath we can do. Zombies is the least of it!!!!

Ok. But maybe no? We need worshippers to function. And sending out murder beasts and having a zombie apocalypse would absolutely decimate our population, thus limiting our DE income by a lot. Unless we can make the zombies aware and they can worship us we'd be shit out of luck.

We could try and aim for some form of Valhalla afterlife if we do want to spawn monsters though. The people who kill the monsters we birth get a guaranteed cushy afterlife, while those who die to the monsters feed their legend and fear, granting us a much bigger return when/if they die.
