Hopefully we can evolve it to something that doesn't have social stratification, while still netting us bonuses towards martial. If we can't, then we'll likely have to seek a way to supplement our fighting prowess. We're not boosting the Honored Elite value. Ever. Fuck the patricians.
Plants that make raw sugar are rare in colder climates, but...we are aware of sweet foods already. Sugar is not exotic enough to rank as spirit food by that..Yeah, but the QM might've threw in a plant that can make it if the Finger's rolled a critical. I can't really think of much else that requires lots of evaporation...there's also the Finger's attraction to sweet things to consider. I feel it's more likely to be some form of sugar that they came up with.
Not convinced, as maple syrup could be boiled into sugar. Also, just because the Fingers discovered fruits that tasted sweet doesn't mean they wouldn't call sugar Spirit Food.Plants that make raw sugar are rare in colder climates, but...we are aware of sweet foods already. @Redium What can you tell us about the North Lake Raiders? What have they been up to, what tactics have they been seen using, how likely is it that they would attack us after one of our heroes dies, etc?
Isn't the palisade there still standing? I'm concerned about crystal lake. When it comes to the martial action for Feodor, I think it would be best if we strike while the iron is hot and let Feodor create a Palisade to better defend the Fingers Settlement, which is likely to be our main camp from the moment due to both its advantageous position as well as it's soon to be higher population. Considering how it was he in the first place who broke through the last palisade, I think he might be well suited enough to devise a more defensible one this time.
AlrightAlso, to Everyone, please for my sanity (and to reduce levels of salt in the quest) please vote by Plan.

We didn't burn down the Finger Palasides if I recall correctly, so I'm going with this.
Feodor was the first hunter over the walls that night and among the first to set fire to the Fingermen's houses. They were quickly forced from the settlement when the Fingersmen realized what was going on, but it was too late by that point. The fires spread despite the snow and ice, leaving most of the settlement burned to the ground by morning and virtually all of their supplies destroyed.
