The Book of Time (Word Building Riot Quest)

Edit: Also, how about not creating anything too humanoid for sapient creatures (if we will create them)? This sounds like an interesting challenge.
That could be interesting, as the idea have a lot of potential, as you can make some really weird and out there creatures with the concept, like a race of beings that resembles cubes that combines together to create various forms or maybe a race that is made entirely of sound, the possibilities are endless when you think about it.

Terry Pratchett's Discworld series
Oh yeah, now I remember some quote. It was so long time ago...

Edit: I just asked AI to give me something as inspiration to work with. Gave it a little prompt, just concept of thing... I think, it's becoming too powerful. :V
This sapient race, inspired by canines, possesses distinct physical features reminiscent of various dog breeds. They have a slender and agile build, with a range of sizes depending on their breed. Their fur comes in a wide array of colors, patterns, and textures, resembling the diversity found among different dog coats. Their ears are perked and pointed, their eyes are sharp and expressive, and their muzzles are elongated, showcasing their canine heritage.

As a bright race, their overall appearance exudes an aura of radiance. Their fur often glistens with a subtle sheen, and their eyes emit a vibrant glow, reflecting their inner intelligence and wisdom. This luminosity sets them apart from other races and adds to their distinctive beauty.

In terms of social structure, they function under a dictatorship. A single leader, often referred to as the Alpha or Supreme Canine, holds absolute power over the race. This leader is typically chosen based on strength, intelligence, and leadership qualities, ensuring that the race operates efficiently and effectively. The dictatorship structure allows for swift decision-making and a clear chain of command within their society.

Their culture draws inspiration from Indian traditions and customs. They embrace spirituality and have a deep respect for nature, often incorporating rituals and ceremonies that honor the elements and various deities. Art, music, dance, and storytelling play significant roles in their cultural expressions, allowing them to preserve their history and pass down knowledge from one generation to another.

Generosity is a prominent trait among this race. They value the act of giving and often prioritize the needs of others above their own. This generosity extends not only to their fellow canines but also to those they consider allies or friends from other races.

Despite their generous nature, they possess a fierce side. When provoked or threatened, they exhibit great courage and determination, defending themselves and their loved ones with unwavering loyalty. This fierceness stems from their strong protective instincts, making them formidable adversaries when pushed to their limits.

When it comes to their interactions with other races, they tend to be indifferent. While they may not actively seek conflicts or alliances, they maintain a neutral stance towards others, focusing primarily on their own affairs. This indifference can sometimes be misconstrued as aloofness, but it is rooted in their preference for self-sufficiency and autonomy.

Overall, this sapient race inspired by canines displays a striking appearance, exuding brightness and radiance. Their social structure operates under a dictatorship, and their culture draws inspiration from Indian traditions. They are known for their generosity and fierceness, while maintaining an indifferent stance towards other races.

Edit 2: It's even more powerful, if combined with random generators to inspire more interesting prompts.
Name: Celestial Fuzzkins

Description:
The Celestial Fuzzkins are a sapient race that combines the ethereal beauty of angels with the adorable charm of cute animals. Standing at an average height of 5 to 6 feet, their bodies are slender and graceful, adorned with feathery wings resembling those of celestial beings. Their skin is smooth and radiant, often shimmering with a soft glow, reminiscent of moonlight. Their eyes are large and expressive, reflecting a myriad of colors, ranging from vibrant blues to gentle pastels.

The Celestial Fuzzkins possess a unique set of features that resemble various cute animals. Some individuals may have long, fluffy ears resembling those of rabbits, while others may sport a pair of small antlers like deer. Their hair is often lustrous and voluminous, coming in a variety of shades, including pastel pinks, blues, and purples. They have a wide range of tails, ranging from bushy and fox-like to short and fluffy like that of a bunny.

Despite their adorable appearance, the Celestial Fuzzkins are known for their idiocy. While they possess a childlike innocence, their intelligence is limited, often leading them to make simple-minded decisions. However, their lack of intellectual prowess is compensated by their kind-hearted nature and unwavering generosity.

The social structure of the Celestial Fuzzkins is reminiscent of a shepherd and sheep. They have natural leaders known as Shepherds who guide and protect their community. The Shepherds are responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of their fellow Fuzzkins, while the rest of the population, referred to as Sheep, rely on the guidance of their leaders.

Inspired by Chinese culture, the Celestial Fuzzkins have a rich and vibrant cultural heritage. They value harmony, respect, and tradition. Their architecture often includes intricate pagodas adorned with colorful lanterns, and their clothing is characterized by flowing robes made from delicate silk. They celebrate festivals with dragon dances, fireworks, and traditional music, showcasing their deep appreciation for their cultural roots.

While the Celestial Fuzzkins are generally generous and independent, their pride often leads them to look down upon other races. They believe themselves to be superior due to their angelic appearance and the combination of cuteness and grace. This arrogance can sometimes create tensions with other races, as they struggle to find common ground and mutual understanding.

Overall, the Celestial Fuzzkins are a visually captivating race, embodying the innocence of angels and the irresistible charm of cute animals. Despite their limited intellect, their generous nature and unique culture make them a fascinating addition to the world.

Edit 3: And I am trapped creating more and more creatures, because it is interesting to see what's going to appear next time from depth of neural network. Welp, I found a new great toy for my imagination and theme for new list of things.

Tentative idea, still subject to change.
I wanted to come up with a basic force from which all future supernatural powers can be derived from. My idea was that, since the Law of Purity naturally inclines towards specialization, I should give everyone an avenue to specialize however they want, in growing whatever direction they please.
Thoughts?

[-] Vaporwave
The turbulence of countless spirits in riot and violence at the beginning of time has given birth to the firstborn mystery of this new world. Born after the example of Willpower and Power of Change, from where those powers meet with the natural patterns of space-time underlying existence, the Vaporwave is an ultimately malleable energy that fades in and out of view like a mirage. It is ever-present; a force of imagination, flowing in currents around and about at the impulse of strong desires.

The nature of this energy is to fulfill heartfelt wishes; it is an energy that is difficult to utilize at all without a clear understanding of the goal, and even with a thorough comprehension of both process and outcome, Vaporwave is extremely inefficient- but if a large enough amount of it can be accumulated, these limitations become irrelevant. This is because, as both the density of Vaporwave increases, its mutability is also exaggerated, causing its random 'Speciation' into ever strange, more niche powers.

A powerful imagination and intense desires can guide this process of Speciation to a self-determined conclusion, allowing for the willful refinement of specialized energies with designed properties by those with the vision to raise their stature in the world and make something of themselves.

My current act idea based on @ShieldCrown Empyrean Runes. I'm not entirely sure about the 13 Great Words so if anyone thinks any should be changed or added please tell me.

[-] The Empyrean Script
- Let it be known that though all things have a Name, not all Names are made equal. The Name of a single man is beneath the Name of Man itself, and the Name of Man is, in turn, beneath the Name of All People. And above all other Names are those so powerful they may manifest themselves upon the physical itself, the Great Words, the Empyrean Script. There are 13 Great Words.
  1. Creation
  2. Destruction
  3. Chaos
  4. Order
  5. Balance
  6. Element
  7. Void
  8. Emotion
  9. Cosmos
  10. Energy
  11. Knowledge
  12. Continuum
  13. Nexus

nothing for light?
and for sapient creatures, if my stars dont end up sapient on their own right im making them sapient next age so theres one race.

I don't really see the purpose? The First Language already establishes a conceptual system of definitions with physical effects. This just sort of seems to create an arbitrary hierarchy that limits which concepts can be important to 13 big ones. Why put a number and specify? I dislike it just from base premises.

I also have a problem with it in the respect that it doesn't jive with the established physical constants set by 'The Shape of All Things'; the concepts chosen seem pretty arbitrary.

edit:
Aren't we restricted to acting in Theme with the Turn? Does anyone know what the next Theme is?
That's true, but we're still early enough that I don't believe we'd be jumping too far ahead of the curve on the next round; I doubt the next theme will be something like 'people' or even 'life'. Maybe 'places' or even 'magic'? Who knows honestly. But I could easily enough adapt my act idea to fit any of those themes, or even throw it out if I'm wrong and the theme is incompatible with the concept.

Can fall under energy, balance, or element. Maybe cosmos too.

I mean, hierarchy already inherently exists in the language. The whole "The Name of a single man is beneath the Name of Man itself, and the Name of Man is, in turn, beneath the Name of All People" isn't really an addition so much as an acknowledgement of the fact that leads into the meat of the act. It being 13 is just how many top concepts I could think of. I don't really think they limit much since they're supposed to be words that encompass practically everything.

But mainly I just like hierarchy when it comes to universal things. Having reality be ladder that can be climbed is fun to me. Plus, I'd like to see what areas where the Great Words manifest would look like.

Yeah, but it's fun to make acts and discuss them. Maybe my idea won't fit the theme, maybe it will, the conversation is worth the experience either way.

"My soul. I didn't like how they looked so I willed them away."
Ngl that's a bitchin idea. Nowhere in the Act did it say the eyes had to be physical, anyway.

For reference, I think a personification of Death would have, at most, one eye. They don't need more.

Also I'm wondering about creating a order of Death servants, once we get some proper mortals. People that can hunt down those who live beyond their limit, and go where Death cannot...

Not sure what I'll do next turn, I'll wait to see what the theme is.

What do you mean, when you say where Death can't go, as what kind of place can keep Death out?. Just curious.
Just looking at the Acts so far, someone can use Willpower to keep themselves alive. Considering the power scaling, it'll be hard to future Acts to subvert Death, but it might still happen. We'll see how it goes.

use Willpower to keep themselves alive.
I think, it is not so easy to just use Willpower for everybody at any time. It is not a hammer, which everyone with a hand can swing. And also it is possible to die suddenly and before there was an opportunity to use willpower. These mechanisms are complex, I guess.

I mean, nothing indicates that willpower is hard to use. You just need to have it.

I just think, it will save only if it directed towards a goal, which align with avoiding Death. Because what is Willpower? And if one has it, than how to measure it? The best way of really measuring Willpower I see - acts, trying to achive a goal and don't give up. Otherwise it really doesn't matter if it exists, because we cannot tell for sure. However, it is only my image of situation.

It isn't hard to use, it's basically an intent and a desire to reach it, how strong that desire is, is the strength of willpower.
What if person asleep or doesn't know, they going to be killed by sniper next second? Because, they don't have intent and a desire to avoid it. Maximum what they have - an unconscious desire to stay alive, but this is an instinct, and Willpower is usually something conscious. It this mostly active thing, at least it seems to me. But maybe there are some gray areas.

Edit: Wait, I think I found gray area... Dreams! These things are stable constructs of personality. If someone wants to be a pirate king, than it is a dream and should not actively be used all the time to exist! Of course, I think it would be a bit weaker than desire to avoid Death specifically, but it should help. Like, you cannot fulfill your dream, if you are dead.

Edit 2: Anyway, I think Willpower is complicated concept, when talking about it in context of real situations. However, I am sure we can always work something out for different scenarios, if think hard enough.

None of that matters, because we're not talking about human beings who need to sleep. We're not talking about any kind of animal creature at all right now. We're talking about animist spirits, beings who totally can just sort of mindlessly focus on some weird task they become obsessed with to the exclusion of all else, and potentially would maintain a state of constant determination to achieve it.

There really isn't any room for the situation where you're trying to angle for here where Willpower can't be unilaterally applied because the physical and mental limits you're talking about probably won't ever exist.

Then I don't fully understand how this world functions. And I can't imagine exactly how the character in this world will act and why. In a sense, everything is possible. Congratulations, we created Chaos! Fabulous! 🥳

Edit: So any ideas? Should we apply some limitations, so it would simpler to work with?

We could create a maximum curvature of space? No hard edges, only curves? It would also prevent singularities from happening, and limit spacial warping. It would also create a limit on density by extension. We should probably also limit time travel. Best to avoid all that nonsense, right? Could even be an extension of limiting space.

And I missed the deadline for the act... Oh well.

Also if everything has a spirit including objects how it works? Lets say we have a doll, its material body is dismembered and its spirit doesnt linger, do the individual parts of the broken doll develop spirits? Are 'lesser spirits' absorved into larger 'spirits' like a cog being put inside a clock?
