SayakaQuest: Trauma is a Thing

Let it be known that my primary video game strategy for anything that includes respawns involves bum-rushing the dangerous, interesting stuff early on, when I've got little to lose. If I throw enough corpses at most things, I'll eventually get past it.

That's the only reason I'm voting to go in the dark alley, following a flash of color that may not even be Kyoko.
Interesting.

I went to look at the rules for SayakaQuest, intending to quote the one that said die related deaths can be reset, but nothing else.

... It's not there.

It was there for AsukaQuest; I just went back to confirm.
11. Die-related decisions can be reset. Everything else? No.
I will swear I saw it here, before. Did the rules change, or am I misremembering?

Yay! Death-scouting enabled!

Though, we probably shouldn't do it much. Don't want to try Moid's patience and have him disable it.

I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if Homura gets to remember every single one of the deaths we...die.

Excuse me while I...write things.

Wrote things.

While she is fated to die, that doesn't mean that she has to. If you make a stupid decision, that's it. If you are offed by the plot, that's it. If you witch out, that's it. Die rolls can be redone, and battle decisions can be redone. Everything else is on your head.

If a character dies, there are no Dragon Balls. They're gone for good.

so we're just going to not think things through and just Leroy everything with no regards to consequences? (which may be worse than what canon Sayaka did).....*sigh* this is going to be worse than every evil DM put together for the sole purpose of dicking with the players.
Edit: just check the front page. Here's to the britle hope that the other players will take it to account.....*deep sigh* yeah right ;_;

Auuu...

Welp, easy come, easy go.

Still keeping my vote semi-suicidal. Because at this point, I highly doubt anything else is going to win.

[x] Transform.
[x] Go after the red.

It doesn't count as paranoia if you're Sayaka. Besides, we'll be able to catch up faster if it is Kyoko.

A Running Red Head [53]
OOC: It's because of my rules that I give a lot of chances to defend yourself before you finally bite the dust. It doesn't require one stupid decision. It requires you to make a long chain of dumb choices. Anybody can make a stupid-ass mistake, just don't do it repeatedly.

[x] Follow the red.

You run over to where you saw the red glow. In the middle of your run, you transform with a brilliant blue light, and slide across the ground when you reach the alleyway. "Kyouko!" You shout.

When you see her, she's in a red uniform, and a labyrinth's opening is right in front of her. She turns to look at you, and you can't clearly see her face with the labyrinth's light. "Sayaka." She says, simply.

[OPTION SELECT]
[] Talk to her.

[] Apologize for whatever you did wrong.

[] Leave her be.

[] Go inside with her.

'bout to go to sleep, but I'm going to point out that apologizing is probably one of the worst decisions.

Quite possibly followed by going inside with her; miiiight be a little conflict of philosophies with regards to letting Familiars go.

Then again, there's letting Familiars go, and then there's letting Familiars go: They attack people who enter the labyrinth, after all. So the issue then becomes hunting down every straggler, because I'm sure Kyouko doesn't object to fighting the swarms of attacking Familiars.

[X] Apologize for whatever you did wrong.
-[X] Ask whether we can give her a hand with the Witch.

[x] "Hey."
[x] Pretend that incident didn't happen for now.
[x] "Want some help? (I'll let you have the Seed)"

[X] Apologize for whatever you did wrong.
-[X] Ask whether we can give her a hand with the Witch.

Guys, leave the heart-to-heart after the battle please. The last thing we need is a retake of how Mami got killed. We can settle the psycho stuff once we get rid of the witch.
What about just apologising? That's not exactly going to lead to a repeat of Mami getting killed (which IIRC was brought on by a desire to show off/overconfidence).

Guys, if we just force our way into the Barrier with her, it's going to piss her off further. We should at least say something to her first.
