Er, IIRC, Puella have that ring on their finger -- or a mark on their nail or something? -- that can act as a tipoff to Puella-hood.

So if Sayaka brought that up as a topic, it would not have been totally metagaming -- its entirely possible for her to have noticed the ring thing.

I don't want to talk to Homura about advice, because that seems like it'd ruin the tone, but I also don't want to just straight-up go "Lighten up!" Because its a bit repetitive as we've already been doing that - change things up a bit maybe. Talk about something to avoid stress or whatever.

I think both Sayaka and Kyoko are sure the other is a magical girl, and they're just not saying it right now because it would ruin the moment.
 
I feel like we missed out on an amusing reaction from Homura by not leaving the stalker question unstated as to who it was directed at.

Indeed, and this dinner with the two of them and Madoka is going to twist the knife even deeper.

I just realized something horrible.

All of our Bad Ends are real, for Homura. Trauma is a thing. (Except we can do this. It's just that our in combat rolls might result in a few deaths because cursed dice.)

    "I was not!" She says. "Stop it!" She puffs her cheeks out and crosses her arms. "Iznunaurconcern."

    You snicker. Then you laugh.

    "So but seriously." You look at her finger and then your eyes widen. "...Wait. Is that...?"

    "Huh?" She looks at her ring, then she blinks. "Uh...shit I guess the cat's out of the bag." She says.

    "It's part of why you were stalking me, right?" You raise your own hand and, indeed, you have a similar ring, albeit with blue engravings. "Because of this?"

    She frowns. "Uh...I...can we talk about something else?"

    You look at her strangely. "I don't want to drop it...but you know what. I'll do it anyway. How's that sound?" You say.

    "Good by me." Kyouko says. "So! I totally kicked your ass at F-Zero!"

    "You rammed me into the wall!"

    "So? You could have done the same!" She sticks her tongue at you.

    You do the same right back...then you laugh again.

    You look at her. "You alright there, Homura?"

    She doesn't look alright. In fact, she looks downright unsettled. She looks at you, then at Kyouko, then she just looks back out the window.

    You're a little miffed at the broken contact, but you just go back to talking to Kyouko.

    You reach the Kaname household after a short walk from the bus station. When you knock on the door, Junko's there to answer and, this time, she's not hungover. So that's a plus.

    "Hey!" She says.

    "Hi, Mrs. Kaname." You say. "Mind if we come in?"

    She smiles. "Oh, not at all! Dinner's almost ready, just give us a moment." She walks over to the kitchen for a second, then she runs out to a different part of the house. You look at the dining room (which is exceptionally nice, you note. You really can't get over how nice Madoka's house is), and you can see Madoka setting things up.

    "Oh? Hey, Sayaka!" She says. "Just a second! Almost done!"

    • Poor Homura. Everything's going so well that she can't help but worry herself sick about when the other shoe is going to drop.
     
    Just wouldn't be a Moid quest without confusing the hell out of a timelooper. I wonder if a friendly first meeting between Kyoko and Sayaka has ever happened? (Of course, things could still go to hell once the Puella aspect gets added back in)

    Since not dying's already come and gone as a goal, and I never really expected not to die, my current goal for this quest is to not Witch End. It's entirely possible, since despair will most likely accumulate and disperse through our choices, with a few instances of being at the whim of the die.
     
    Getting Rei and Asuka vibes. Maybe its the hair. Or the daw.

    I've already voiced my thoughts to Moid via PM...we are now (possibly) tehRei.
     
    Well, at the rate Sayaka's going she's going have Kyoko head over heels before page 40, all while Homura sputters about "san loss"
