Emiko has a problematic power (if the familiar even has her power) and wasn't that strong in direct combat, so it's possible we could just pick her off before shit gets crazy, which is probably less likely if we immediately go after Haruka or Mami.

It occurs to me that these girls all share two characteristics:
1) They're all (most likely, in Emiko's case) very dead
2) Sayaka has some reason to blame herself for their deaths
Given that we're fighting the Witch of Drama, that's probably intentional in-universe as well as out.
