This has the makings of a trap/bait, but we can't ignore this.

Looks like Sayaka's gonna have to cut a bitch. Repeatedly. Again and again.

More seriously though, what's the possibility this could be a trap? Lure in the local heavyweight MG's, dogpile them, then later you can pick off the weaker ones at leisure. Not sure how we could justify it IC, but maybe we should have Homura discreetly tail us or something until we find these Familiar Farmers just in case?.

Or maybe I am just being overly paranoid and going Shadowruns here? :/

I have forgotten about whether Kyouko has confessed to Sayaka about the "leaving familiars alone" thing.

Regardless, this is going to hit somewhat close to home for Kyouko.

Yes, and yes, but these people are spelled out as going above and beyond "letting people walk in". There's leaving familiars alone, and then there's industrialized murder by witch.
