Oath Sign: Breath of the Wild

Even as young as she is and not the size the species is known for, her fire and claws is not something anyone can decide to just 'take on'.
More seriously, as long as she isn't trying to wipe out all living things, Mirai wouldn't even care about any dragon PCs she encountered. Well, wouldn't care that they were dragons at least. It would be kind of hypocritical of her at this point :V

...Because I cared about others 'protagonists' while I wrote this?

There is no point doing a debate about 'my character can crush yours'. That way lie an endless spiral of bragging that will never end.

...You seem to have missed something. Mirai's whole deal is that, as a completely ordinary teenage girl, she was confronted by a small army of dragons threatening her new friend and literally charged forward with no hesitation to rescue her. You made reference to Nah's dragon form being intimidating; I made comedic reference to how Mirai literally can't find that intimidating anymore.

There is no dick measuring here, just a joke.

No one is going to miss them if I turn them into masks, right? I see ghosts and I get this kind of urge. These poor spirits have been sitting here for who knows how many years, just unable to pass on. They need help, and I'll give it to them!
But who's going to pilot the giant robots now?

*Cut to Ganondorf dressed up in Urbosa's outfit*

Well, it came out of nowhere and I pretty much went 'What are you even thinking with that post?'.

I'm sorry Az. But FE's dragons are doomed to go mad at some point. :V

It only came out of nowhere because I literally just woke up, ate, then looked at this thread and saw the sheet you posted.

And what I was thinking was 'I'mma make a joke'. I was very transparent about it, considering I then said 'more seriously' before clarifying that Mirai wouldn't have a reason to want to fight Nah in the first place.

Well, that's not exactly going to happen to Nah on a game-relevant timescale. Unless being part human makes her more vulnerable to that by an order or two of magnitude.

I'd still have to fight and kill/defeat them to get the souls at that point, something sans isn't precisely inclined to do. Plus, as Narcissist pointed out, there's potential room for maneuver in the potency of LoZ souls versus Undertale souls. The reason Undertale human souls naturally linger after death is the sheer amount of power/Determination they hold, so since it doesn't happen naturally in (most) other worlds you could just say LoZ and PC souls lack that potency.
This begs the question of why it's there to begin with, if you don't see it ever becoming relevant or used.
I think it was a reasonable example of one way to do it, though.
Sure. But what good does it do? Attacking the mystical man behind the screen doesn't do anything.

The Sans fight in Undertale is clever because it makes use of its medium to attack the player, and by extension their insert in the game. Here, in PbP, the effect is lost. I don't need to have hair-trigger reflexes to dodge an attack, I don't need to evade bones flying across the Post Reply button, and my theoretical wellbeing has no impact on the NPCs. This is just totally baffling to me.

You can do clever fourth wall stuff in PbP, but I do not believe trying to port Undertale combat mechanics is the way to do it.
Hey, that looks pretty good as is! Have a threadmark.

@Glint
Alright then. You're good.

>tfw I only now remember GataKiriBa's clones can be used to access multiple Comboes at once as shown:

@Cyreni thoughts as I only just remembered I could do it? Any way you want to restrict it?

If anything, being part human staves off the madness. Or just go full human like some dragons did in Marth's games.

But anyways, I believe in your ability to restrain yourself from shanking tiny little girls that can turn into dragons. You can do it.

MiracleGrow - Hearty Truffle
Name: Spirit of the Heart Lands, nicknamed Hearty (As for her real name, she has forgotten it.)
Her usual 'True' form:

When attempting to fit in with Humans:
High Aspect: Lonely Relic of a Forgotten Age
Trouble: Humanity Lost in Time
Aspects:
  • Talking to Nature is easy! Humans? Not so much: After her many many years of seclusion from humankind Hearty finds it far easier to talk to animals than it is ever to talk to a human. She is very socially awkward and has great trouble communicating with Humans.
  • Mirrors the Shifting of Nature: Hearty's mood tends to directly reflect that of her surroundings. In a calm peaceful forest she will be exactly that, but in a turbulent storm with ferocious winds she can be hyperactive and a penchant for laughing manically. This also extends to her current physical form
  • A Friend would be Nice: Hearty for the first time in a very long time wants to have a human friend. She feels that she has lost to much of her connection to humanity and she thinks having a friend could help her get it back.
Powers and Abilities:
Nature Whisperer- Hearty is able to communicate or commune with nature as she so pleases. But how informative and helpful these conversations are depends often on the thing being spoken to. Things like beasts or animals depend on just how intelligent the creature in question is. But they tend to be the most informative over other parts of nature. Things like trees or plants in general tend to give off moods, and these moods can give a bit of insight to the history of an area over time. Insects are extremely difficult to read but things like ants can sometime be informative due to there hive like structure. When it comes to spirits its very easy for her to talk to them without any trouble.

Ever Shifting Druid- Hearty tends to constantly change forms into different animals or plants as she so desires. There are very few beasts that she can not become at will. This tends to include things like dragons.

Mark of Nature- Hearty can place a mark onto others discreetly that causes nature to act differently around the person in question. This can either make it where nature treats that person in question well, were predators avoid them and they find it easy to harvest from natures bounty. To where everything seems to be out to harm you. Squirrels run off with your bags and wolves have it out for you something fierce. Poison berries seem to be all you can find and tree 'just happen to' fall over on top of you. This mark can be dispelled and its usually placed behind the right ear lobe.

Domain over the Wilds- Hearty has the ability to exert control over wildlife and foliage in her present area. She can command animals to help her and come to a deep understanding of the area around them. This is done by 'rooting' herself to the terrain and she can't move far from there area without losing control of it. If control is lost she must root herself to that domain once again.

Wind, Earth, Water, Fire- The Druid has exceptional control over these specific elements of nature. (In short she can shoot fireballs at people or gusts of wind. Or manipulating the earth to spike out and stab people. Nothing super impressive that will outshine other people who main focus involves one of these elements)

Nature Parts at my Passing- Hearty exhibits an incredible ability to quickly move through terrain and nature. Trees part at her passing and terrain seems to shift to match her current need. She can easily terrain through the earth and cut through even the toughest of foliage.

Rise up Trees- Hearty can temporarily cause the trees in her present area to turn into Treants. This lasts for a couple of hours.

Equipment and inventory:
Sword of Liberty and Justice- A remarkable sword made out of the toughest of petrified wood. Although it tends to look out of place on Hearty. Truth is that this sword belongs to a friend of hers from a time long ago. She carries it in remembrance of her best friend. This sword cuts down oppressors and fiends with ease.

Pls do not bully lonely forest spirit/Druid. All she wants is maybe a friend or two. She's a character I played in a Level 20 D&D campaign. She of course isn't that strong. Hope I didn't miss anything on this sheet.

This is the most contradictory statement I've seen this week. Not trying to offend anyone, but aren't level 20 DnD games superpowered, broken shenanigans?
Well yes, I regularly turned into a Wyrm Imperial Forest Dragon and shot laser beams of nature from my eyes. She was a stronk as fuck shape shifting focused Druid. But I scaled her back for this game quite a bit.

That campaign was pretty crazy.

W-Wait, really?!

..Any uh, any thoughts? Comments? I'm unsure about the fairy interest thing, as well as the whole split personality.. Hm. I might think of some things I want to edit or take out later, if that's alright..

...

It's Iarann, with an I :V Not an L

When attacking, sans can choose to inflict Karmic Retribution on anybody he hits with his attacks. This acts as a metaphysical poison that weakens and harms those affected by it in proportion to the amount of death and pain they've inflicted. Though it cannot kill by itself, it can weaken its victims to the point of death. The more damage an enemy takes from an attack that inflicts Karmic Retribution, the longer it will take for the effect to fade.

To accomplish this he gathered the souls of 7 trillion humans and stored them within his orbital fortress. His hope was that with Asura's daughter Mithra, whom he kidnapped and held prisoner/tortured for 12500 years

wew lad

I thought something looked off. Anyways, you look good to go, presuming you can't shapeshift into something like Dinraal.

Relax. Go decide what you want to play and how you want to play it. You can make edits until I make a selection.

You can't make me do shite! I'll be as tense as I want until I see mah name in the player roster! This RP has me excited as all fuck, do you know how many do that?! I have to make my sheet perfect! PERFECT! I legitimately want to make my sheet the best and most interesting it can be though, just because I know a game this fun deserves a character at least able to match it.

MY SHEET IS THE SHEET THAT WILL (HOPEFULLY) MAKE THE ROSTEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRR!!!!

My concern is letting in what might as well be another Ganon should things happen. Like someone having a nuclear missile in their arsenal, it's probably not going to be used, but it's still there and has the capability to completely mess up the game for everyone else.
Bleh, if Kurama gets out, my character is as good as dead, and Kurama... may actually take offense to the Calamity, and Naruto will be terrified of the power if it leaks, seeking to restrain it even further. There's no risk of Naruto willingly using the Nine Tails.
