Yeah, concealing our eyes while still being able to see means there needs to be more light shining directly on our face then our eyes emit. Then we can have a barrier that blocks most light and the bit that comes from us will be relatively unnoticeable.
It doesn't matter as long as it's superficially similar. Chemistry can't be expected to work right, but dim sources of light can surely be outshone by the sun.

Not really, no. There's certainly a spiritual component, since that's the source. It's perfectly possible that perceiving this glow works on different rules than "normal" light from the sun.
Amusing thought. We get a mask to hide our eyes, end up losing our transcendent beauty trait also. Actually getting worse modifiers to our social rolls.
[X] Upcoming Battle
There is more to beauty than just a pretty face. At worst we will get probably only half of the bonus, but it would be still worth if it were to get rid of the inhuman bonus as long as the mask is on. "The demon mask stays on during the tournament"

We probably will still get like half the bonus from transcendent beauty since there is more to beauty than having a nice face. Also with the tournament coming up we probably don't want our face to be known once we participate in it. Because of assassins and the war coming up.

After Xiao Fang got out of the Medical Hall she decided to get a mask. While she had pride in her identity and didn't care about what people thought about her, she knew that if people did not know she was Inhuman, they would probably not accuse her as many problems. Of course, wearing a mask was itself suspicious, but far better than having to deal with racism.
Xiao Fang quickly grabbed her pouch of spirit stones and left to go to the market. It was fairly empty after the vents of yesterday as many disciples were still recovering from their injuries. Luckily the weaker disciples usually lived further from the center of the sect or the casualties would have been much higher. Even still dozens had died or been crippled by the shockwaves of the battle.
Xiao Fang did not let that get her down, if anything it only ignited her desire to become stronger even more. The strong survived, the weak did not. If her cultivation had been any lower, she may very well have died.
She began to look around the market, looking for a mask that would cover her glowing eyes but not impede her vision. This was a task in of itself as most masks usually cover the face and leave eye holes. However, eventually, she was able to find a steel visor that would cover the upper half of her face and had inscriptions that allowed it to be seen through from the inside. It was fairly expensive at 35 spirit stones but she managed to bargain it down to 10.

Xiao Fang had only two months until the tournament. During that time she planned to raise her cultivation to the next level. Every breakthrough made would increase her power and survivability.
She sat down cross legend and began to breathe in the Qi that filled the air. Popping a Molten Heart Flame Pill into her mouth she began to cultivate, circling the Beastblood Blackfire Scrolls technique, causing a searing fire to fill her lungs. The flame burnt and refined the cells in her lungs, which by now shone with a metallic sheen. Her breath drew in huge amounts of Qi into her body, furthering her cultivation. Pops sounded out from her joints as her cultivation base grew into the seventh stage.
Xiao Fang reaches the 7th stage of Lung Vitalization.
After reaching the 7th level of Lung Vitalization, she moved on to the Earthly Crown of Contemplation and began to condense Qi into her Dantian. After a short time, the Qi became thicker, like heavy gas roiling about in her meridians. Inside her Dantian a projection of a crown began to form out of the Qi. Each of her meridians was like a jewel adorning the crown that represented man's dominion over the land.
Over the next two months, she broke through once more.
Xiao Fang reaches the 4th level of Qi condensation.
How does her body Cultivation go?

Looking through the second floor of the scripture pavilion Xiao Fang sighed. She was having trouble finding anything that met her requirements, in the first place Yin Earth was not very closely aligned with the sect at all, meaning there was not much to work with, and most of the fire movement techniques here were not suitable for a first realm cultivator like her. The best she had managed to find was a technique related to the movement of the wind.
Arid Skies Desert Footwork
Quality: Low
Strength: Average.
Conforms to the trigrams of Wind, Heaven, Fire and Earth. Conforms to the phases of Fire and Earth. It is related to deserts, sand and balances Yin with Yang.
It was certainly not a bad technique, just not all that great, it was a special footwork that would mimic the profoundness of shifting sands in a desert and clouds blown by the wind, allowing one to dance by attacks and evade effortlessly. All in all, not too bad, not amazing.
Do you find a movement technique related to Fire or Yin Earth?
D100 + Heavenly Luck
25 + 30 = 55 Slight Success.

Xiao Fang had a little before the tournament so she decided to practice her etiquette. God knows she certainly needed it. She checked the library and found a book called, "10,000 Pickup lines: Cultivator Edition." The book had many interesting tips and tricks on how to interact with new people. Xiao Fang decided she would test them out and walked over to a mousy inner disciple reading some manual
1 to Court Etiquette
"Hey there girl, Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?" She asked the girl. The inner disciple looked up at her with a slightly surprised expression.
"Are you talking to me?" She asked.
"Oh yeah? Do you see anyone else?" Xiao Fang responded. Inner disciple raised her eyebrow.
"What's your name?" She asked.
"My name is Xiao Fang." Xiao Fang responded.
"Well, Xiao Fang, I'm not interested. Go bother someone else." The inner disciple sneered. Xiao fang cursed. Had the book lied to her? It assured that there was a 100% guarantee it would make women interested in being friends. No, the book couldn't be wrong, this girl must just be weird. Having come to that conclusion Xiao Fang decided to leave the Scripture Pavillion and head to her house.

Xiao Fang awoke the next day. It was time to head out for the tournament! She grabbed her mask and put it on her head, tied the talisman around her chest, strapped her sabre to her back and slid her knife up her sleeve. Once she had made sure everything was in place she left her house and ran over to the martial hall, where the 15 other winning disciples were supposed to gather.
After all 15 had gathered The Sect Protector appeared from thin air and waved his palm, a massive platform of clouds forming above the ground. It was similar to Elder Yun's but far larger. The disciples began to jump onto it and Xiao Fang joined suit. The cloud began to move forward, slowly at first then faster and faster until Flamecloud Island disappeared entirely. Xiao Fang felt butterflies in her stomach. This was her first time ever leaving the Island. For some reason she had never really ever imagined leaving the Island, it was her whole world. When she thought of becoming the richest person alive, it was always centred around the Island, when she dreamed of freedom she imagined living on the Island.
However, there was a whole world out there, more vast than she could imagine, filled with people, with nations, with everything under the heavens. And Xiao Fang wanted it. Why settle for becoming the richest person on the Island when she could become the richest person on the 5 Rings Continent?
Xiao Fang smiled. One day she would look back at her past and laugh at the memory of Flamecloud Island being the limit of her goals! After there was no end to the Dao.
It only took a few days for the first sea beasts to arrive. In the Black Dread Sea, many powerful sea beasts slept in the depths. Xiao fang had often heard terrible tales of them as a child, the boogieman that they were often warned about, Don't steal that cookie or we'll trough ya to the sea beasts.
Why wouldn't they? After all, it was the Sea Beats that had split the Outer Ring into so many divided Microcosms. Even a Nascent Soul could be killed in the open sea, let alone a ship of mortals. Because of that, fear of the sea was deeply entrenched in the culture of mortals, they hadn't named it the Black 'Dread' for nothing. Only a top power could maintain a shipping organization. There was a reason that the Huoyun sect did not maintain their shipments, instead, leaving that to the top powers in the Mid Ring that purchased their Spirit Stones.
Xiao Fang received her first taste of why. Massive, scaled serpents erupted out of the ocean, launching their bodies at the cloud platform like living arrows. A howl of mindless rage erupted from its mouth at a dozen flaming spears stabbed into it. The Sect Protector and the core disciples in Foundation Establishment all drew weapons preparing for battle. For some reason, she felt her blood beginning to boil as she stared at the sea beast corpse.
The Beastblood Blackfire technique within her seemed to be vibrating and drawing her attention to the Sea Beast Corpses even as more of them attacked their group. Xiao Fang drew her Sabre and blocked a tiny sea beast piranha that had leapt at her. It was cut in half and fell to the floor. As some of it's blood splashed on her face, she suddenly felt parched. Xiao fang fell to her knees and grabbed the tiny fish, shoving its corpse into her mouth, swallowing it whole. She felt a shudder run through her, like electricity through her spine and moned, a Qi was pouring out of her stomach, like thick blood, It flooded through her and began to enter her veins, where it lay dormant.
A crazed look appeared in Xiao fang eyes as she stared at the blood of the stronger Sea Beasts polluting the water. She needed it. Xiao Fang was about to run off the cloud to devour the delicious blood when she stopped herself. What the hell am I doing? If she jumped off the cloud she would likely be instantly killed by the massive amount of Beasts assaulting them. However, she had been about to. Why? She thought to herself before a terrifying realization filled her. Don't tell me that my techniques are affecting my mind? However the more she thought about it the more it seemed to make sense.
Why else would she be so crazed to the point of wanting to devour blood and corpse? For some reason, her techniques were making her desire to consume the blood of freshly slain beasts. Only her incredible Will Power had stopped her from making a horrible decision.
What does Xiao Fang do?
[]Try and consume as much as possible. It's clear her Body Cultivation technique influences her to consume Beasts, so why fight it? There is probably a reason. Try and consume as much blood as possible without risking your safety
[]Moderation
Consume a little as an experiment, but don't go overboard and if you notice anything weird, stop herself immediately.
[]Fight it
No matter what her technique want's Xiao fang is suspicious of anything influencing the mind. Don't consume any blood until she knows for sure what is going on.

When in doubt, Berserk. In xianxia, there is no situation where such a decision might go overtly wrong. May also raise our Bloodline Level.
