Yep, there is a general one. Let's use Ianade as an example, because she's yandere and would be offended to be ignored:

Ianade, the Devotee of Blades
Demon of the Second Circle
Messenger Soul of the Prince of Leeches

When Ianade is called forth into Creation, she teaches three truths with her cleaver-like knives; firstly, love is jealous; secondly, love cuts men and women from their parents; thirdly, that true love requires willingness to die - or kill. To that end, she seeks out a lover, stalking them for a month and a day. If they publicly declare their love for a living soul, she then kills all that they love, kills their parents, and finally devours them whole, spitting out their bones. From these bones she carves fine trinkets and jewelry which have the seeming of ivory and hold much power.

The Devotee of Blades wears the form of a woman of the Realm, but to look too closely in her eyes is to see the mad serpents that coil inside her skull, chewing on the blood-red strings of love she tears from her victims' chests. Snakes and centipedes hear their hissing and come to her in swarms, obeying her every command. When she is near, roosters lay eggs and bulls lactate. Her face is locked in a permanent smile and she never speaks unkindly or crudely, even as she does her bloody deeds.

Ianade watches her greater self from afar, lusting after him. She sees so many men and women that adore him and the snakes that are her mind hiss and coil. To that end, for she fears to teach Balanodo her truths, she instead focuses her attentions on the others that love him and seeks to dispose of them in many ways both cunning and brutal.

Sorcerers invoke Ianade to ruin a rival or slaughter a family. She is an assassin who is very nearly as dangerous as Lucien, though her foibles make her erratic and harder to control. The Devotee of Blades may escape from Hell when one who adores the Prince of Leeches promises love for someone else, only appearing for long enough to take their heart for their infidelity.

There is some room for flexibility. Often the first and second paragraphs are the other way around, so they don't read too mechanically, and sometimes people get a second quirk paragraph or they get a separate domain and appearance section. But it's a very efficient way to get the core information down and sell a reader on the concept.

Hey good advice, I used to just save a template for format when typing.

I was never afraid of going into long three page write ups myself since I wasn't limited in word count and liked to add little cultural tidbits or fun powers. But I always tried to add in heir method of reproduction ever since 2nd ed pointed out Demons don't usually reproduce through sex, they usually are created by a progenitor 2nd Circle, or a numinous genesis birth from Unquestionable like Malfease disgorging a mass of Stomach Bottle Bugs. Or a birthing demon or Behemoth like Neomah. But each also has a unique Birthing Method like how Blood Apes can be tortured until their agony scream congeals into a new Blood Ape.

The reason he uses the police is that he hasn't figured out how to bring anyone back from wherever using Phantom Chastising Oubliette on people sends them.
It sends them to the Phantom Zone, obviously. This isn't even subtle.
Munaxes does seem to have some Phantom Zone-like functionality, yes. The crystal-spires-and-togas Fortress of Solitude also works pretty well as a Pyrian-aspect manse.
Or use a 'hit immaterial charm' which for immaterials let's them hit materials without needing to materialise and be vulnerable to them. It's why ghosts and spirits are such a threat in the first place, because they usually come with those as standard spirit charms while materials need to be either Exalted and/or pretty buff martial artists/sorcerers/thaumaturges to unlock that ability.
Not according to the spirit-charm rules in Roll of Glorious Divinity. Spirit-Cutting is Essence 2, costs two motes, and has no particular drawbacks. Attacking a material target while dematerialized requires a completely separate charm called Shattered Adamant Attack, which costs 10 motes, plus an aggravated health level if you're using it more than (valor) times per scene, and locks out other offensive charms unless you exceed their essence prerequisite by at least 5.

Yeah, ghosts and spirits are threats because they have strange magical powers, recover inhumanly well from injuries, and can turn immaterial if it ever seems like you'll have the upper hand, not because they can attack any non-Exalt with impunity.

Tracing the demon line of descent through to the 1CDs always seemed like a wonky plan to me. They're supposed to be made for tasks by a demon actually within a soul hierarchy(and self propagating thereafter), so...wouldn't there be doubling up on progenitors?

I just discovered this wonderful concept that is "boobs window for men", I think that I'm gonna convince every guy in Creation to wear this magnificent garment.

Incomparable Solar Dress-Code
Cost: 4m; Reflexive (Indefinite) - Psyche
Prereqs: Socialise 5, Essence 1

The Solar's sartorial expertise is so obvious and so impressive that any fashion choice she makes must be correct.

As long as this Charm is active, any clothing the Solar wears, recommends, or praises seems sensible, fashionable, and attractive. Its actual appearance doesn't change, but people judge it differently; filthy rags seem charmingly authentic, while bewildering constructions of colourful cloth seem like the height of creative brilliance.

Characters may ignore the effects of this Charm for a scene by spending 2wp. When the Solar releases the motes committed to this Charm, its targets are often left wondering exactly what they saw in the Solar's clothing. Fortunately for the Solar, most people are very good at rationalising their aesthetic judgements.

Fashionable Mourner Method. (Abyssal)
Cost: 0m

As Incomparable Solar Dress Code, but the mote cost is waived. It may only be activated when the the Abyssal Exalted dons an item of clothing taken from a corpse.
If the Abyssal specifically murders someone for his or her clothing, witnesses to the act may not spend willpower to resist the effect during the current scene.

-------------------------------------------

Comfortable Skin Confidence
Cost: 1m; Reflexive (Scene-long)
Prereqs: Appearance 3, Essence 1

It's not what you wear, it's how you wear it.
While this charm is active, the Lunar suffers no penalties to social interaction due to being poorly or inappropriately dressed, regardless of formality, quality, quantity, or disrepair of the clothing in question.
Tea with the Perfect of Paragon clad in a leopard-skin bikini? Not a problem. Arguing with barbarian chieftains in the layered silk robes of a particularly foppish Guild Factor? Not a concern! Conducting sensitive political negotiations with Immaculate monks wearing nothing but strings of skulls? They might hate you, but they'll agree the outfit works.

This charm does not disguise the nature of any particular body covering; guards checking for weapons may agree that the Lunar looks wonderful wearing a reaper daiklaive, but they know she's armed.

IIRC Stomach Bottle Bugs are Ebon-Dragon descended.
I know that butane it's been mentioned the Unquestionable, particularly Malfeas, will spawn large amounts of 1st circle demons to fill in gaps in the ecosystem particularly if they are useful as a immune reflex, which stomach bottle bugs would be useful for purging unwanted toxins, and they have been noted to do this even when the species of Demons original progenitor is permanently slain.

So once created a 1CD species becomes "open source"? I know there are noted to be so many demon spiders because a bunch of higher-ups kept making their own.

Yes because of two reason, one they all have their own breeding condition that spawns more of them, and two Neomah(and presumably other types, like made Vlectic the Mother Vines) can make more of them. These are conditions others can take advantage of when they obtain sample demons. And there are other random methods like Unquestionables spawning more in a numinous Genesis disaster, or things like Infernal Manses with mirror chambers that create evil doppelgängers of those who wander into them, or the infernal spawning pit charms inspired by Cecylene's power.

It's just basic sociopolitics. If somebody designs a better footsoldier, everyone and their uncle is going to find a way of getting hold of some, and given the dizzying wealth of options available to the Citizens of Malfeas, it's effectively impossible to keep competitors from eventually stealing your recipe.

One of the recurrent themes of the Octavian FCDs from @EarthScorpion is that he's one of the few Princes of Hell who really gets a bug up his ass about it and tries to find ways of installing DRM in his demons, which inevitably gets bypassed.

Today in Lunars, I'm a monster.

[20:33] Snowfall: "...in any case, I got a present, at least!" and Snowfall takes a long, elaborately carved jar from her cloak.
[20:34] Snowfall: Blue and whites, like her eyes, carved with motifs of dragons in flight.
[20:35] Snowfall: She opens it, and an icy mist rises from within. It's full of ice.

[20:36] Nightshade: "....is that a winterbreath jar?"

[20:36] Snowfall beams.

[20:36] Alika: "A winter-what?"

[20:36] Snowfall: "Apparently! This stayed frozen my whole walk back!"
[20:37] Snowfall: She takes a handful of chipped ice out, and offers it to the group.
[20:37] Snowfall: Ice, in the middle of An-Teng.

[20:38] Quetzalli makes an impressed whistling noise.

[20:38] Alika looks at the ice intensely, not at all understanding what she's looking at, "What... is that?"

[20:39] Nightshade: "This is incredibly valuable!" Nightshade says, grabbing the jar in both hands and sliding it it towards her, peering wide-eyed into its misty depths.
[20:39] Nightshade: "You could buy mansions... Wealth... Positions in the Dynastic bureaucracy with this..."
[20:40] Nightshade: "It can keep food safe for weeks! Months!"
[20:40] Nightshade: "It can produce ice cream!"

[20:40] Snowfall smiles, and offers the ice to Alika's hand. "It's frozen water," she explains to Alika, "And yeah," she nods, "I buried some peaches in there, Nightshade, there should be some left."

[20:41] Nightshade buries her hand into the jar and pulls out a frost-caked fruit.
[20:41] Nightshade: "I hope you didn't let anyone see you carry that item," Nightshade says, twirling the fruit in her hand, "we wouldn't want the Realm taking away our right to freeze peach."

Rook Homebrew: Heron's Feather Writes In Blood
Heron's Feather Writes In Blood

Slavish adoration of the Black Heron is not limited to those in her production. There are those that devote themselves to her worship completely, often in return for a dark benediction. Cultists across Creation whisper of the great Princess in a dozen names: the Shadow That Dances Armageddon, Crowmother and Rose-Lipped Maiden. Her cult is not one discrete organization, but certain commonalities are known, to those who keep track of their deeds.

Princess Magnificent with Lips of Coral and Robes of Black Feathers is worshiped by those who believe in art for art's sake, who surrender themselves to the need to be perfect, for those who will do anything to shine brighter than their peers. Typically a cultist can be recognized by tattoos, of wings on the shoulder-blades, inked gore on eyelids, or otherwise stylings of black-feathered birds.

The rituals to invoke the blessings of the Black Heron are all elaborately staged Shogunate-era dances under new or blood moons. They require the sacrifice of a rival or competitor on the part of the cultist. Victims are slaughtered ritually and then their blood is worn as a new layer of makeup, or spread like paint in a beautiful flourish. These rituals are difficult to enact and are inconsistently reliable, as sources on Shogunate-era dances are sparse. If you are lucky and your dance merely bores the Princess Magnificent, she will not respond. If you aren't and it offends her, she will possess you and you will die. Very seldom does she actually respond.

Examples of this cult include:

East of Cherak on a bay of the Inland Sea lies the city of Oolaun, a comatose stone-hewed place sloping down to iron water between white cliffs. It barely rises to the category of "small city" and was known for mining and fishing, until contact with the rest of the world stopped for five months, before resuming as normal. But all is not normal. The town has been taken over by a death cult that worships the Princess Magnificent. The cult is led by an old necromancer and his cabal of ghostly peers who wish a restoration of the great regional art the city was once known for. The whole town has been inducted - and those few that aren't members have been killed or hide away in fear, mounting a paltry resistance.

Oolaun's town center is built around an old coliseum that used to be used for bullfighting and has now been repurposed for bloodsport choreographies where the youth artfully butcher each other for the amusement of the the elders and the glory of the Princess Magnificent, who is herself turning an eye to the Northeastern city. Rumors are starting to trickle out of strange happenings in Oolaun, but none thus far have taken it seriously.

The greatest actress in Gem, Wasima Ayatol is a predator sapping the life from its theater scene. For three and a half decades she has maintained her supremacy and youthful looks through a mix of sorcery, politicking, raw chutzpah, and opportunistic murder. Would-be competitors are found and fed upon as Wasima Ayatol drains their health and desire to perform in the night. All her victims succumb to weakness and die, or otherwise give up on their dreams within days of her surreptitious feedings. Her latest victim is a young relative of the Despot, and he is rightfully upset at his favored niece's sadness - and just as eager to have someone to blame for it.

A band of wandering monsters known as Heron's Ensemble terrorize the wooded East. They number nine and include outcaste Dragonblooded. They are identifiable by their horrible tattoos of swooping birds of prey. Where they meander towns are obliterated, lands are wasted, and the songs of carnage and insanity fill the air. They are horrible, twisted thespians of murder that delight in the most dramatic, absurd ways to wreak havoc in worship for the Crowmother--yet they seldom agree on how that should actually be accomplished and are known to sometimes disagree violently and at length over aesthetics. All nine are known to have distinct styles recognizable instantly in the carnage they inflict.

The greatest known example of this conflict is between the leader, a Water Aspect named Spring Rain Swallows Mountainside, and his second-in-command, the Princess's favored Nemissary, Fist-And-Hammer-Supremacy. Spring Rain is known for his love of nature and belief that culling the numbers of man beautifully helps bring the world closer to harmony. He is judicious and conservative. Fist-And-Hammer is a firebrand who believes that the only beauty to be found in life is that manufactured and discovered by reason, and maintains that there is a perfect equation to beauty that has yet to be discovered - he is progressive and reckless.

I don't get this one
Her full name is Princess Magnificent with Lips of Coral and Robes of Black Feathers, and generally people don't shorten her name in the book because it comes off less "Exalted", as we have a Short name of Black Heron if you want to say it quick.
