I..probably just punching people, lightning bruiser style, to be honest. Probably be a meat tank too, well the only thing matter is everyone home safely to be honest.Funny enough, given who I'm going with, it seems almost appropriate on some level that the role I specified for myself in the raid can basically be summed up as "Fly around in the air and boss people around while occasionally shooting things."

Yeah except that I have a 4 for research and if everyone else only has the minimum of 2 that is 14 research skill or a +70 to the roll turning it into a minimum of 84, and there could be equipment bonuses as well. That really shows the power of cooperation with multiple mad scientists working on a single project.

Or we could just inject them with serum every time they die/integrate an Angelfield into them.
Also Master Viper Jaminson is one of those rare Mad Scientists who has to be dragged away from the workbench and told to get some sleep, even by other Mads. This is because he is so used to his Angelfield shielding him from the backlash of experiments gone wrong due to his insane knowledge desire and lack of sleep. When he gets tired his experiments get really weird, even by the standards of other Mad Scientists, sure they grant great results and lots of information but at the cost of ever increasing collateral damage. This means that even other Mads are reluctant to let him keep experimenting for so long without rest as they usually lack a way to deal with things he considers trivial like "mutations" and "being dead". As such there is currently an alliance consisting of XNFE, Felicia, Henrietta, DeDeDe and several others (mostly minions) that exists solely to prevent him from working himself (and consequently everyone else around him) literally to death.
Actually, they aren't that difficult to deal with. We got a reanimation serum, and mutations can't be that hard to deal with.

I know but it is not side effect free, mine on the other hand is side effect free at the cost of taking a month to deal with the being dead thing.

As if Nafe not busy enough taking care "small things" in the background and also get roped in helping various mad scientist around. While she only "helping" in small quantity unless she directly involved in something (delivering food, disposing failed experiments, massage,etc), she probably looks strange for self-declared lazy-ass. She's too lazy to do things for or by herself that she evade them by busy helping other people
Also the fact that she already near death many times and actually died several times probably skewed her perspective a bit.

The only reason the reanimation serum is not side effect free, is because no body bothered to make it side effect free. We could easily.

Nafe probably did it regularly and without even looking. It's quite easy to sense someone on a self-destructive deep end when you work with their kind for years. I mean Nafe learnt that lesson many time, especially at first when she realize her first boss put a anti-matter reactor on the construction of prototype super Yamato.

It reminds me of an idea I had, for a very long time. There are forms of insanety in real life, that give beneficial results in logic and intelligence. What if someone with wast knowledge in psychology, invented a way to break people in the right way to induce this.
And this quest is always recruiting...

I don't see why not. We got a bio engineered cat, and a very short women who pretends to be a kid. Just gotta decide what your starting inventions are. I'm not sure if he'll allow one that makes people into mad scientists, atleast without a high chance of failure, but you can certainly try.

Mad science is Also all about that mad method and ego. So If you'D make mad scientist they would probally refuse to work for us and leave. Maybe you could make pseudo mad scientist. Those that can dip in the mad method. There not as good as the real thing but wil probally be way beter in researching Because they would probally lack the ego and eccentric nature of mad scientist.
I mean we have enough eccentric people in MAD.

Well. My idea was that the reason she was able to break her mind the way she did, was because she knew herself around in her own mind. For other people she needs a lot of test subject first. For first invention it would be how to break her own mind, without too many mistakes. For other people it would be more around bringing them to psychopath or sociopath levels. A kind of animalistic vicious intellect, that makes them ruthlessly efficient. And how to split someones personality in a way that makes them at least resistant, if not immune, to mind controlling and intelligence gathering techniques. Hypnosis, brainwashing, torture, drugs, cold reading and maybe other more esoteric means, has to test that last one yet.
Did you break your own mind to become a Mad Scientist? Or, the more likely answer for someone willing to intentionally give themselves a form of insanity, you were already Mad, and you gave yourself some additional (helpful) psychosises.
The invention could just be a mindwashing machine that CAN be used on anyone, but for people not you there's a chance of it going wrong.

I just realised that being Here in this M.A.D. base I am probebly the most content i've ever been. inventing robots and programstuff from my desk with cuddly and intresting people around me. Whoever destroys this is going to be in for a BAD time as I might even get motivated... curse the word.

People are to move pretty soon Which wil make the original base less crowded but Maybe less homely for your character. Granted She can move bases once a week So If you need to move to a base for project you have that coverd.
Also I put in a petition to rename the original base the mad cat pad and pretty much sacrefice it to Felicia in the hopes to contain her cats and cat design obsession there. I mean ever do project Catalysm it wil spread but meh.
Also I noticed that we miss something, that something is transport. The only ways of transport we have are one offs like eggmans egg-mobile, Will's rocket car and the Ralphs Skates. So I want to shelf project Catafire for project Wheelie. The Wheelie mostly mechnical With a biological insides and brains. It can serve both as a minion and as a vehicle. Maybe it can't help With research or building for balance?
