[X] Plan Pariah
Wait, so the village loves power and direct confrontations? Only one thing left to do then.
[X] Plan Pariah
[X] Suzuhisa Shizue
Ancient Bell Quiet Inlet
[X] Keep the sound of my voice in your heart, her mother had told her as she died. Keep the secret weapons, keep the flute and cymbals, keep the scrolls with the techniques they didn't trust me to do, for it will matter. You will matter, she had been told. Now she is a Genin, with access to a set of sound based jutsu, including many that are looked down on in Reef for being too subtle for the brash islanders' tastes. She has kept to her mother's words all of these years, the only thing that kept her going through a rough few years at the academy. (Gain clan jutsu scrolls, bonus to Ninjutsu, gain flute (unknown use), gain bonuses to Persuasion, Socialize, Stealth and Traps)
[X] Unusual Talent: Beyond what one is usually taught as a Genin, she has picked up a less common skill. Normally you are only allowed to learn Basic and Advanced skills and anything unlocked by Clans, so this opens it up a lot more. Pick one of the following. Can take multiple times if you wish.
-[X] Puppetry
[X] Genius (Pick a skill): She is very good at something, and gains +5 to it, as well as learning more about it faster. She must pick a skill in the Basic or Advanced categories, unless she has unlocked something else via her Bloodline/Clan, or via Unusual Talent.
-[X] Puppetry
[X] Isolated (Drawback, worth ½ a trait extra): Not only is she looked down upon, for one reason or another, but she is disliked. Friendless, sometimes even despite her own social skills, she might have people who tolerate her company or are polite with her, but it's very clear that she's separate or different in some way.
[X] Flower Arrangement- A Little Drop of Poison (½) : When she asked the teacher about the flowers, they revealed after a pause that they could be used for poison, though it wasn't always something that everyone approved of. Unlock Poison as a Skill.
[X] Flower Arrangement- Messages in the Flowers (½) : When she learned about flower arranging, she also learned something about secret codes. Bonuses to infiltration, and a mind more given to thinking through and realizing various sneaky things.
[X] Walk like a Civilian (½): Many kunoichi have a bit of a problem blending in with civilians on infiltration missions. Trained to be alert, constantly scanning for danger and ready for a fight from birth, they stand out from civilian women who are not allowed in the armies of the Daimyo. While many might be very tough indeed, they are neither trained nor expected to be the physical equal of men. This can be quite useful for infiltration and assassination, but many have to relearn how to behave as a civilian' in order to be good at infiltration. Your character doesn't have that problem, and gains bonuses to Persuasion, Socialize, and Infiltration. They know how to act like they're normal. The cost is halved because walking like one of the inferiors, one of the people you lord over, is hardly a skill that many would approve of, in this village at least. Instead, they say, a ninja should not hide their nature, but be immediately distinguishable so that everyone knows what they are and treats them with the respect (and fear) that is their just due.
Eh, since it seems that my summons idea won't gain traction, would it be possible to convince you puppeteer guys to include fuinjutsu in your build? I think that it would combine very well; Jiraiya was able to seal Ameterasu, and could presumably unseal it as well. Thus, it stands to reason that techniques can be stored and unleashed again with fuinjutsu.
Dude, I'm so for being a fish person. That being said I would have voted for the Sickly option if it picked up.So it comes down to whether we get more people... or if those who have voted on other things change their vote.
I will say now that I like a lot of these options. Whoever wins, this should be interesting. Personally I'm hoping for Aqua-Lass or Bookish!
Dammit!Dude, I'm so for being a fish person. That being said I would have voted for the Sickly option if it picked up.
God damn do I want to, but I would take Fishy over Music, so I have to stay unless people come to a consensus or something. That being said, all the options are great, at this point its just preference isn't it?Dammit!
Not too late?
EDIT: No it's not! I refuse to give up in the face of adversity!

Diseases are a horrible way to fight. Well, I suppose that they could be effective as very, very dirty warfare (to the point where we're caught, we'll likely get smacked by a major village). Poisons, however, can also be used effectively by puppets. But diseases! I do like puppets, but seriously, the concept of a ninja who uses the dirtiest methods of warfare is too good to pass up for me!
Not really. I can't really think of anything that would be changed by Kisame being female, and apart from being enormously powerful, I consider him a terrible person for someone to model themselves after. Mostly because he's a terrible person.
I was tempted to make one of my OCs here. She's a puppeteer who has a large bodyguard puppet that can also basically become piloted power armor, as well as a handful of bird-like spies.Guys. Guys. With puppeteering we can be Iron Man. Think about it. IRON MAN.
Nothing says the carious jutsus don't accelerate the incubation time and magnify the effects to where they are effective in combat! And honestly, I wouldn't mind picking up puppetry later on, either. It's just that the disease and poison focus right of the bat I like a bit better.Diseases are a horrible way to fight. That's actually the reason why I don't like Fish Girl all that much. Reminds me too much of Kisame.
Sure, but puppets are self replicating and in my opinion, more reliable. Sure, you can always learn more jutsu and techniques, but that has a limit. There are always more puppets to make.
I... what? This sounds both awesome and hilarious.I was tempted to make one of my OCs here. She's a puppeteer who has a large bodyguard puppet that can also basically become piloted power armor, as well as a handful of bird-like spies.
She also kind of has a crush on her puppet, partially due to it being designed to be rather lady-like!
Her name was Yuuko Akizuki and she looked like this:

You're not wrong, but she put a lot of hard work, sweat, and love into her creation. It also ended up being rather pretty when she was finished. So yes, she has a crush on the inanimate object she herself controls.?
Uh, correct me if I'm misremembering, but aren't puppets not-alive, and only moved via chakra strings?
