Awesome information Grimely!

Also its really amusing when the differences come down to one or two options.

Like I would be fine with 45% or 50% winning if all six leverage options are taken. Which is why I'm not really that big on Leveraging our Assets, it doesn't have all options. But All In does, which is cool. Also 35 vs 25 Paranoia isn't that worrisome to me.

...we're about to enter into having to deal with the percentage of the budget we put in Personal, something we know will gain Paranoia. Being Paranoia-neutral is fine, IMO, being Paranoia-positive isn't when we still have Funding to do.

When doing the math of the space things we're likely to do, it's honestly pretty close-ish? Ish.

Brontes, Dylarian, and Refloat on their own are 14 dice on average with a round of SCVs. Literally any other space project knocks us into the positive income zone, including the very shiny Fort Riley which will become the cheapest Paranoia reducing action on the board at 5R for -10.

I don't really agree on your take with Starke either, taking his deal is insurance. I happen to like insurance.

Just a regular reminder to everyone that, while I love the engagement and a spirited debate is very welcome, it's important to be mindful of other questers and do your best to phrase your contributions in such a way so as not to cause offense or upset. Disagreements should be constructive and civil, and arguments should be won on the basis of well-explained perspectives, not rhetorical strength or dismissing other viewpoints.

Thank you, and keep up the great discourse.

Paranoia Reducing

Korhal: Capital City Augustgrad (Phase 2)
Brontes: Refloating the Fleet (Phase 2)
Brontes: Fort Riley Orbital Training Center
New Model Weaponry (Phase 2) [Tech]

Plus whatever options open up.

Plus us loosing 5 Paranoia thanks to Starke.

Plus us double or tripling on personal dice when there is Paranoia risk so we don't risk it as much.

Lots of ways to get rid of high Paranoia.

Oh and I assume there will be SOME options to reduce permanent worry that won't have us cringing. Things that we do agree with.

--

But yeah I think all six leverage options are important which is why I'm happy with the 45% but also the 50% with all options.

Additionally us going space heavy is a good thing to me so I'm not against that potential either.

As an aside I have to laugh when the Dominion military complains abotu not having enough budget when they are like 30 or higher percent. Even America, with its outlandish military budget, is nowhere near that percentage of the whole.

[X] Plan: Everybody's Best Friend

Voting for the plan that doesn't gain us more Suspicion.

Hey so uh. @Derpmind @Redhead222 @Woltaire I really appreciate the vote of confidence but I'm not actually running that plan so you're technically voting for nothing right now? I ended up deciding to go with 45% budget but all others which is identical to Everybody's Best Friend with the exception of the +5 Suspicion.

I made sure to vote for the full version of the plan when I made my vote, so I'm running the plan.

This one has two things that I'm liking - 45% budget and "keep it fixed". Help manage the ol' paranoia.
