One Giant Leap: Exodus Quest(Dropped)

[X] The Inter-solar Crisis

Either we roleplay as Zeon and start dropping colonies or actually just beat Earth Fed without warcrimes and actually fix humanity or we wipe out xeno's.

Thats rough to hear, and one hell of mess

This quest was fun, and I look forward to the next

[X] The Inter-solar Crisis
[Beginning of the quest, short period of human exploration in the solar system and the unrest that came from it]

Now this got quite a lot of ways to go here, plus we can shape how humanity, and it would be intresting to see what comes out of solar system

[X] The Extrasolar War
[After some time of making first contact, humanity will once again go to war against an alien more advanced and numerous than us]

[X] The Extrasolar War

@ProjectUnidad If this choice is taken I think it would be best that you make it a canonical sequel to One Giant Leap as a way to preserve some of your work that is done for this quest.

You could even fill out the events that happened between the quests as a small COYA-style sction that affects the world state of the quest proper like the Conquest portion of the Tyranny* character creation.

For example how we deal with the fawns:
  • If we conquer them by military force then we may have some additional territory at the start of the quest but as a consequence, our people are much more willing to resort to military action and our diplomacy may suffer. (not to mention that we may have to deal with civil unrest from the taken territory since we did invade their homelands).
  • If we try to trade them your technology in an effort to stop the slave trade by making slaves obsolete, this may cause social friction in the society that may lead to a civil war that the imperium will take advantage of.

*An dark fantasy RPG released in 2017 by Obsidian Entertainment where you play as an enforcer for an evil overlord.

Do have question, what style will you go with when it comes to technology? Same as this one, or are you going down a different path?

You are ignoring content by this member.
Mmmm so far only two votes seems to be competing to when to start the new upcoming quest, The Intersolar Crisis will give players more detail story of human origins of becoming an interstellar civilization as well as give them choices how to react towards first contact and the upcoming war but will take a bit longer to to get there, while The Extrasolar War despite be given partial choices of our origins players will jump right in to plan and execute multiple campaigns against an alien force.

So no spoilers or anything but how much do our choices affect the world of the quest or would it only affect our nation?
I will say this much, if you were to choose "the extrasolar war" most choices affecting the Intersolar crisis and first contact would been locked, with perhaps some being available only for the "origins narrative"

[X] The First Contact
[After the war, humans would once again focus exploring space and eventually find life on another planet]

Lol maybe you misunderstood the purpose of the vote, the purpose is where to start in the quest. If there was a tie of sorts, it will be up to break the tie :3

Well if it's a Tie then you could rework one or all of the quests into different settings, for example the The Extrasolar War being the followup to One Giant Leap since one of the end games for this quest is basically this.
2: form a united front with the natives after expelling an alien invading force,
