i'd say trust and Legend building are important for any good captain, but making the rest of the Reaver Queen (Mom's) fleet fight better due to that legend tips it for me, if it be the low option, so be it, my heart goes where it goes, like any true Pirate.

No I just wrote the last bit to check convince people
He means that when you make it part of the same line, the comment will show up as part of the vote, and it'll be counted separately in the block (check it with the New Tally function in a new post)

I'll still count it, just be aware that'll happen.

this is what you did.
messed up tally. so either own up to it and fix it, or continue as you are.

[X] – Make them surrender

Love the idea of cultivating a pirate legend and reputation. Its a classic trope and tbh its pragmatic too.

[X] – Ram their ship and fight with your men

Brotherhood, its something we really want to cultivate here and now, we can make a legend of a terrifying storm born pirate later.

Hmmm. Normally i would vote to challenge the captain to avoid casualties and take more plunder, but since the options seem to also shape or boy personality, i'll take the option to cultivate a brotherhood with our crew. Specially since our first mate doesn't seem very fond of us.

[X] – Ram their ship and fight with your men

Out of all of these, I think that this one is the most useful, as while making them surrender is good I don't care about reputation much as we have all the time in the world to build it up, and just killing the captain is pragmatic but feels a bit off and the crew might not like it much.

The most important thing is your crew. You're their boss, they put their trust in you, and you're to bring them the plunder same as any other. There's nothing you love more than getting stuck in with your fellow sailors.

You'll collide your ship with theirs and board the enemy vessel, daring anyone to stop you. It won't take long with you.

(Your crew will take casualties, but you'll have forged a bond in blood with them. They'll see you as one of their own, as will the fleet.)
