I wonder what would happen if Muramasa breaks the Mastering on a clone? Would they lose their murderous impulses, lose their loyalty to Noelle, or both? Can in remove what was hard-coded into their brains from the moment they were created? Probably, since it works on Zanpakutō.

From memory, I think the clones usually come out semi malformed, so I don't think they have a very long shelf life

Clones can but do not always come out mutated. Their mutations can range from slight changes in appearance from the original, to crippling even fatal deformities, to actually being healthier or more attractive then the original.

"I'm not a summon, I just teleported myself away from danger and it brought me here!"

So she'd be okay with obeying orders if she was a summon?

That's a good point, if Haphazard gets something that @LMeire interprets as "summons closest ally" or something, does that mean she's mastered them until the time limit is over, and if she does teleport them to her do they stay where they are or teleport back to where they were summoned?

If it's the latter, it could mean bad things if they were in a moving vehicle or something.

Chapter 193: (Pip)
Some friend Victoria is, didn't even stick around to help a girl dry off the slime she threw me into. I didn't even know where the fuck I was, it wasn't anywhere on the patrol routes Aegis showed me- showed Original. Most of my powers were gone too, so even if I knew where Mother was, I wouldn't be much help as I am now. All I could do was hide out in this alleyway and hope for somehing marginally useful. PIP

Eggcognito A random number (3) of Eggcognito Heartless appear. While hiding in their shells they have a Stranger ability that will remove suspicion about the presence of Easter Eggs out in the open so long after Easter.

Man-Thing + The Lion King: The Pal Patrol A version of Man-Thing who gets more powerful and efficient when doing something he would have done for enjoyment.

"Alright big guy, you're protecting me from now on." As for the egg things, hmmm. They don't even have arms. "The rest of you just do your best to help wherever you can without getting stepped on." The eggs bow at me as enthusiastically as the Mush-wannabe nods sluggishly. Alright. Now I just need some recon or armor and I'll be set to hunker down and power up. PIP

Critical Sun + Bumble Buster + Lancelot When worn, this ring covers the wearer with a full suit of orichalcum plate armor. It also enhances the use of the Host's main power by adding 5 to every roll, at the cost of killing the 50 closest bumble bees.

A ring appears in my hand, I slip it on and instantly I'm armored head to toe. Neat. PIP

Owlette of a Kind + Hook Bat A random number (18) of Hookbat Heartless appear, they are Mastered to opportunistically try and scratch host-species with their tails. Host copies the powers of anyone they scratch for 1 hour. Modified by the 7 to give the scratch victim regeneration for an hour after the attack.

Finally, something useful. "Go find a sporting goods store, then come back to lead me to it." My bat-creatures flew off in all directions, hopefully they'd stick around for more than an hour and I can actually use the information they gather. This was shaping up better than I thought it would. PIP

Pop Pop's Mini Corn Dogs A box of frozen corn dogs.

Well they can't all be winners, at least I still have my PIP Oh. I almost forgot what this was like. I wonder if I can cook these things over a fire. My stomach is literally empty, and they look tasty. "Hey eggies, could you look around for some old paper or possibly leaves?" I don't know what I'd do for wood, but who knows maybe my power would be kind enough to give me a tree to chop up. Immediately after taking away my armor. Ha. Fat chance. PIP

Searching for Nature's Mysteries Thinker power, can see through the eyes of all creatures that weigh less than an ounce within 30 feet.

Whoah that's trippy. What's even happening, is this one of those 'out of body experiences' I've heard about? Fuck I can barely make sense of it, my ankles and everything below them is in such high definition but everything above that is so foggy. I think I might puke.

So...this clone killed 200 bumblebees in those 4 rolls? She's gonna make them extinct in a day at this rate, because it doesn't seem like there's a range limitation on the effect, it just says "50 closest" and they could be halfway around the world and still be the next closest one.

Please tell me these Heartless don't extract people's Hearts and make more Heartless. We've already got one self-replicating plague loose, let's maybe not add one that is conceptually indestructible on top of that.

No just 100, the ring pipped away after a minute.

They've got enough loyalty to not be a major problem for as long as their Master exists. Other than that, no promises, after this arc there's a good chance I'll need more big bads to fill in all the vacancies in the Brockton Bay villain scene. Things have been going too good for too long to really be a Worm fic, espeacially with the PRT around to instantly collect all of Haphazard's more problematic rolls.

Wow, the Heartless showing up probably just sent all sorts of alarms off in quite a few important places.

Yeah, but you can keep the Darkspawn around for that. At least nerf the Heartless; my understanding is that the only thing that can truly destroy canon Heartless is Keyblades and/or Light Bullshit, and that anything else (even magic) only disincorporates them, to reform later. With shadow-melding, teleporting and freaking dimension-hopping on top of that, they're completely uncontainable short of {Elohim} hero-ing every Blessed in the Bay. And that's not even counting the Nobodies. OP pls nerf.

It has only just occurred to me that if one of the clones ends up with the Bionicle Wiki there is a non-zero chance they could summon the Piraka Gang. I dunno wether to be scared or excited.

Chapter 194: (Bap)
BAP And it's gone. "Typical."

"Tasty though." Vulthrax opined, apparently he was able to eat things after they stopped existing. It made perfect sense when he explained it, but in a way that I couldn't make sense of how I made sense of it. My new powers were weird as all fuck like that. BAP

Plutonian A random number (5) of the people of an alternate version of Pluto, they're very capitalist and/or stupid and mined away the core of their planet until it was half the size it started with because it was made of plutonium.

Alright, I can work with this. "Alright little guys. I want you guys to do some basic exploration for me, I need to know where the most easily accessible resources are from here and I don't have time to do it legally. That means materials like wood, scrap metal, and cloth. And also a freezer, if possible." The furry creatures wander off grumbling and calling me a 'condescending bitch' under their breath. Whoops, maybe I should have asked nicer, or at least not immediately assume that they were just animals and talk all cutesy. Fuck, this is the sort of shit Original would have done. "Do you think I was too harsh?"

"Nah don't worry about it Kevin. They're not gonna be around long enough for it to matter." Oh, that's goo- Wait a minute.

"You can tell how long my baps last?" Vulthrax's value as a sidekick would shoot through the roof if he did. Not even PRT Thinkers had that information.

"Yeah, for the most part. It gets a bit murky the further out from the center of the ripple since I'm not quite sure exactly which Branch of you will turn out to be the you I'm connected to. But in most places along the fringe, those orange prey-creatures you bapped cease existing on this range after an hour." Holy shit. I can't process this right now. I need a distraction.

"I'm just gonna mull that information over for a bit and get back to you, okay?"

"No problemo, Kevin. Take all the 'time' you need. I'll just skip to the part where you want my help again." Right. BAP

Cantankerous Embryo + Michael Jenkins The Cantankerous Michael Jenkins. He starts as an ambulatory human embryo and grows to be a 21 year old muscle head over the course of 21 hours, he is then hit by a pink car and inevitably bleeds out from his injuries over the last 3 hours. Intensified by the 1 to be a recurring cycle, with his embryo-self tearing itself out of the cooling corpse of his adult-self.

It's an, oh. I've never summoned a dead thing before, at least, nothing that wasn't obviously food like that one time I- Original pulled a steak. That was probably a cow at some point, right? "Eugh. Gross." Should I bury it or-?

"Well let's see how you look without your morning coffee." I see. I just need to completely forget about everything I define as a person. Lesson learned.

"I am so sorry. I just- Would you be terribly upset if I said you reminded me of a miscarriage? I didn't mean to call you out or anything."

"A little offended, yeah."

"Don't worry Kevin, we all make these kinds of mistakes the first time we meet people from outside of our native zone. You'll get there, as long as you keep trying."

I'm about to thank him when a BANG in the distance interrupts my train of thought, followed by a BOOooo.

Codex entry: Val Royeaux Buildings in Lord's Market replaced with Val Royeaux architecture.

The Deathberry Returns 2 + Urban Jungle/Transcript All fruiting plants in Lord's Market replaced with Deathberry bushes. While mildly toxic, when eaten these berries grant Host-species the ability to perceive ghosts as a shimmery outline and a low powered selection of ghostly powers, such as intangibility and invisibility.

Listening closer I can hear some shouting, both in my voice though one is closer than the other. "You'll never take me alive!"

"Talk like that isn't helping your case!"

not even evil clones are safe from the chaos of hapazard. as such A real chance that evil clones become good because technically it's a master effect.

How many fruiting plants were there? If there was a place that sells them, the prt will probably get a supply and start growing it.
Not as many at first. But since Orlais is basically the most posh magical medieval France-patsy possible and Val Royeaux even more so, there were probably some rooftop artisan gardens thrown in with Bang-Taylor's summon.

Since you didn't specify, do the effects work on birds too? Because boy will those things spread fast if they don't work on birds. Or aren't toxic enough to kill them.
