Yeah, it sucks when something like this happens. But that's always the case with really obscure allergies- the standard tests don't pick it up and you can go your whole life without ever encountering the allergen that'll kill you. Lots of people do.
But some don't. Sometimes it shows up in a routine medical test and the body goes into shock and just shuts down. And even after the fact there's no easy way to tell just what it was that set it off.
I was mainly here for the Ranma side of things, but after taking part in this quest I ended up going and watching through RWBY and it was quite good. I remember a lot of Monty's earlier works and it's hard to think of him as gone, or how the series will adapt to his absence. I definitely believe they'll continue it, but it seems likely that some spark will be gone from it. Nobody put fight choreography or rigging together quite as well as Monty, and I don't think it'll be possible for RT to find someone to do his job easily, or nearly as well.
Still, even out of tragedy, I'm glad to see this revived, and I hope it continues onwards, charting its own path.
[X] Training Time! (Pick 1~3)
-- [X] You just pulled the Splitting Cat Hairs out of your ass yesterday, now it's time to actually practice and master it.
Voting for this one, at least. I think that Ranma needs a good defensive technique, and the Cat Hairs is a solid answer to that. Well not solid, not yet- but since Ranma does have Blake with him and her Semblance is quite so very similar, I thought it might be a good chance for the two of them to bond and talk things out. Ranma might not be in a position where he can easily accept her service even if he's already agreed to it, so talking it out should help, and I really think that both he and Blake should take some time to decompress before talking to Weiss and Winter- as things are likely to- no pun intended- get a little frosty with the tempers in play.
