..... Do we even know how to use a chakra pulse which is a c-rank fanon technique? Since we never tried to make a technique like that yet.
Didn't know that. Thought it was the technical name for the kai technique. We'll probably just do a shitty version of the fanon tech though. And any foreign chakra injected into the two should be enough. Pain might work as well.

That fanon technique which will experiment try out for the first time on a subject says it affect the heart. Sure it's okay if you want to experiment on people who very likely die from us experimented on them it would be better to just to put them in brief pain it's easier and safer that way.
Also our character shouldn't know what a genjutsu is, and what a ninja looks like. This situation shouldn't look suspicious at all to a normal person there are days when everyone is asleep and there is a guy walking around outside.
We would look suspicious as fuck to any kuno nin who came to investigate. We could be someone under control of a fuinjutsu that they couldn't find.

I don't know what you guys are thinking, ninja in this are frankly fucking terrifying considering genin are expected to be able to take out multiple soldiers at once, also yeah keep in mind Ninja things are kept secret i don't think normal kids know the specific names of these things.

i'd want to lay down and at least go into a state of relax without sleeping but this is best bet on votes.
I truly think in a realistic scenario he is going to notice movement and kill us all or ex ninja caretaker is going to have to take him on and die. If he needs time to run he has a better chance of clearing the village if its small and moving on.
I don't think you guys remember how fucking fast Ninja are they speed blitz everything, Like 90% of fights besides bullshit regen in manga and anime were about speed, if this guy is an infiltrator he is maybe even a Jonin and that equals death harder than Chunnin.

the decisions we make decide who we will be and if we want to be curious maybe getting into trouble sometimes is ok. if we want to be lazy and uninterested as a person then lie back and sleep.

This isn't about just not wanting to be involved, it's about being properly cautious. This guy has to at least chunin, if not jounin, we can't beat him in a fight, it's likely he'll kill us if we reveal ourselves and if we wake our caretakers they might try to fight him. They will also most likely lose. I could be convinced to risk the last one. I'll admit sleeping sounds like the smart thing to do but not the right thing to do.

Guys. As an aside, this dude is acting both tired and terrified. He's a Lone Iwa nin in the heartland of Kumo, and doesn't look good.
Seriously, we may be an SI but we aren't super special snowflake powerful. As a mere four and a half year old, we managed to beat off his incredibly pathetic genjutsu.
He's acting scared. He's been sent on what is almost certainly a suicide mission, but somehow actually has hope he can still succeed.
Going to sleep isn't going to do any favors for us. Innocent people up in the mansion will die if we ignore this.
If we go out there and talk to him though?

He is indeed in residence, or so you assume given you've seen more of his staff around the estate and in the village. He might not be, and they could just be setting up for him, but him actually being there seems more likely.

My thoughts? Iwa resorted to its standard "We Have Reserves," strategy and used multiple teams to try and kill this guy. The kid here may very well be the only me to make it through the patrols.
But there's an issue here. Why in the Fuck is an Iwa nin attacking a Kumo noble? Iwa and Kumo are basically allies up until the end of the Third Secret War. For an Iwa nin to be here, and what's more, what appears to be a Mook Iwa nin? Something is not right in the state of Denmark, people.
Discussion has a very real possibility of working. All we have to do, is walk out there, ask the kid if he really is a ninja, and stall.
I mean hell, if he doesn't look old enough, we can act like the child we are and say we don't believe him when he says he's a ninja because we haven't seen him do any awesome ninja things.
Or, if childishness isn't something people feel like doing, simply asking him if he's here to meet the nobleman like the other ninja and then telling him the nobleman isn't here yet, and that the nice ninja who came through earlier said they were staying at the palace to wait for him should be enough.
Passiveness here is our enemy. We have a chance to make a real difference. A kid ninja is about to do something Incredibly stupid, that is likely to end in his death. Distract him, derail his train of thought, fill him up with misinformation try to give him a head pat when he squats and starts moaning about how everything's messed up.
This is our girls very Nature we are defining here, people.
Simply ignoring any serious problem, hoping it will go away and not bother us? Not good.
And hell, if the Nobleman does die? What do you all think will happen to our village? The village was made specifically for the noble and estate. Without him around, the village will die.
The consequences of our actions, or inaction, do not solely revolve around us. Look to the bigger picture for a glimpse of what may happen, should we not act.

bravery is one thing but a whole bunch of people seem to want us to be a suicidal moron.
we have no combat training and while we have decent chakra control we don't have any useful jutsu to go with it. waking the caretakers is most likely a bad idea as it is unlikely they have ninja training

If the GM liked that you suggested the vote is deciding our nature as a person, then that changes things. Hopefully engaging this tired ninja does force a heel turn.

GM could you go into how much this guy is tired or his appearance? Been thinking about the "extremely haggard" part more and it sounds like he's almost ready to collapse with that slow head turn.
And how good does the SI think their chances of self defense/ evasion will be if the ninja tries to engage?
