Welcome to Brighton (Mafia game)

That could easily just be first day bleghs, though, which is why I'm leery of calling them exactly suspicious.

I also don't want to pick on either of the new guys before N1, because it'd really be terrible if they didn't even get to play in their first game.
...Yes. That

TheMaskedReader has five votes. I'd really appreciate it if we could extend that lead so that Scum can't "change their mind at the last second".

Now is not the time to go hunting for new ideas, Nanimani. There is a one vote lead between two kinda-proven Townies and the lynch. Please make that two votes instead.

Or to put it another way, you're making it easy for Scum to manipulate the vote into a tie. Ties are anti-Town.

We have less than an hour left. Starting a new vote train now means that Scum can trivially shift votes to lynch me, you, or TMR. Please reconsider.

What scum would be dumb enough to do that, though?

Day one ends
Day one ends.

The discussion starts slow and wary, until one man's argumentative thrust draws attention. Near half those present think he should face the noose, yet an equal number thinks he's right and the one he accused deserves death.

Yet in the end, neither of them does. Though the conversation dominates the day, it deescalates over the course of the day. And another is picked for the noose.

A bookish fellow, @TheMaskedReader is familiar as a writer who has long lived in the village. But faced with the noose, the man reveals he is not as ordinary as thought. "No, you can't! My books! My books! I won't let you!"

With a word of power he teleports, once, twice, before being tackled by a villager. He is dragged to the gallows, and gagged, and put in the noose.

He struggles, and hangs limp. @TheMaskedReader, the Space-Time Wizard, has been [Lynched].

He was a Traditionalist Wizard.

Night has fallen. No further talking is allowed.

Day 2 begins
Day 2 begins

The village sleeps, though restless, fearing for who will be found dead next, fearing for their own lives...

Dawn breaks, and all fourteen who left to sleep last night return to the square. Everyone present looks around in surprise, as it appears none died this night. But the altar remains, and none believe the one they lynched yesterday was the killer, especially given the conspicuous pool of fresh blood on the altar...

With fourteen players alive, hammer remains at eight votes. Day ends in 72 hours, April 5th, 1:06 AM, GMT, or when hammer is reached, whichever comes first.
