To be honest, there is a real chance those Ethereals are regrouping to send at least some attacks our way. We really, really need some more firepower if/when that happens. Of course, said weapon systems needs to be field tested, so...

The order here is a bit important. On another note, I'm guessing here, but we're not stupid enough to make combat drones that only work on land, I hope?

The sound bites are both for battlefield morale loss (theirs), and to make it clear what is actually happening. "Yay! We'll sell out the human race to aliens!" "ooops. Maybe aliens don't like traitors..."

If Exalt (or a random bystander) drops clips of said attacks on the news channels, we will have to answer by giving said governments (directly or indirectly via X-Com) choice bits of the EXALT info. Perhaps even large bits of it, if it can be directed to organizations like CIA, KGB, Ministry of State Security (MSS), MI6, Nato and other organisations who would probably not be that happy that EXALT is trying to sell them out to the alien invaders?

To be honest, I would love to let the humans take care of humans and use the time to research genetics instead, but... that could be suicidal as well.

These are probably Bio-drones, essentially a downsized Cyberdisc with upgraded stats. All our stuff works underwater, it's land/air that's optional, but Bio-Drones are one of our land attack Terror units, so if I'm correct, well, pretty all purpose.
