...We could train and levy troops? It relies on two stats we have undepleted. Not sure what the risks are besides that, though, nor how great the benefit of an extra might or two is...

the risks are none - you may fail a roll, but...like, if no one else is acting, then nothing bad will happen.

the benefits are more dice, meaning you can make better attacks, for longer.

It may be noticed, but...like, things are RAPIDLY spiraling towards war as is, whether you get noticed or not.

[x] Train and Levy Troops (Sovereignty + Territory vs Diff [Current Might]

Someone come up with a cool writein!

Also, to be clear, mechanically what happened is the Admech and Deathwatch have merged, which had almost no impact on the ademch's stats, numerically...but it gave them the Space Marines asset, and they used this to pull off a unconventional warfare to steal the extinction button asset from the PDF, so they have that too.

The extinction button is "on a successful sov test, they can end the world"

[x] Train and Levy Troops (Sovereignty + Territory vs Diff [Current Might] - Levy the Outcasts
- [x] Turning Thedias into a Forge World will affect many who are far from nobility. There are a lot of people on the lower strata who stand to lose from becoming a Forge world. Mass servitorization of laborers in the name of efficiency, minor cases of genetic deviation who can presently survive may be hunted down with increased surveillance capabilities, and of course more local interpretations of the Imperial Creed may be suppressed in favor of the worship of the Omnissaiah.
- [x] We should rally the lower levels against the threat posed by the Adeptus Mechanicus. They aren't moving covertly now, so publicize and spread word of their actions and use the resulting resistance to raise motley legions of those the nobles never like to think about.

I think this is the perfect moment to do that.
Rough thought:

Edit: Leaving it without Xs in case someone wants to build on this.

I'm liking that so far.

As a future thing we may also want to see if we can bring down the Mechanicus's Sovereignty somehow; perhaps subverting the magos biologis through Alia as they're the ones who'd likely be most swayed by the xenobiology stuff.

The only ways to beat them are

1) Drop their sov to 0
2) during a war, take two stats to zero, one of which must be either might or territory
3) Convince them to merge with you (this is nearly impossible unless you get REALLY clever)

Where was the post on how war stuff worked again? And does Unconventional Warfare allow us to drop enemy stats?

It's somewhere, I'll just explain it again: You roll Might+Treasure versus their MIght+Territory, once per day, until one side loses or both sides no longer have dice to roll. Defenders can either be purely defensive, or they can fight preemptively. Currently, they have the huge, unfair advantage of having +2d+MD from space marines for all rolls.

I like how people keep going "i want more territory, how do we get more territory" like, the same way everyone else does, you take it

Some ideas if we want to keep levying for the rest of the month, in addition to @Servetus's initial suggestion.

[] Train and Levy Troops (Sovereignty + Territory vs Diff [Current Might] - Levy the Outcasts
- [] Turning Thedias into a Forge World will affect many who are far from nobility.
- [] We should rally the lower levels against the threat posed by the Adeptus Mechanicus. They aren't moving covertly now, so publicize and spread word of their actions and use the resulting resistance to raise motley legions of those the nobles never like to think about.

[] Train and Levy Troops (Sovereignty + Territory vs Diff [Current Might] - Just Stick a Gun on the Back
- [] While the Sisterhood has a good number of eager and willing bodies, we lack harder equipment. Making true armored vehicles may be beyond us, but putting heavy crew-served weaponry on the back of an airskiff or truck plated with adhoc armor would provide more firepower and protection than none as well as give us better armored transportation.
- [] Similarly, our noble connections should have personal or family ships that have passed their prime or mothballed for various reasons; turning them into weapon platforms would be a good option, and if the modifications can be hidden until needed, a source of surprise.

[] Train and Levy Troops (Sovereignty + Territory vs Diff [Current Might] - It's the Training Montage
- [] Quantity is quality of its own, but the strength of a well-disciplined and highly-trained core of soldiers cannot be understated. Take our most promising fighters and push them hard, especially in anti-armor tactics and against smaller but superior forces.
- [] Korine performed an jawdropping feat of martial ability taking out a dozen Space Marines solo, during a fire, while saving children. See if she can and is willing to teach those skills and knowledge to anyone else.

What's fun is, each of those are great write ins, and you can use all of them, to get bonus dice to each roll (albeit, with your stats degrading each time.)

Start with this one for the spicy recruitment.
