If you guys have a problem with me pointing out the truth, that is demonstrable facts and that you would rather ignore the fact that those comments from me are the truth, just because you dislike me, again not my problem.
What I have said in the last page on this issue has all been true. You can say I'm an asshole, but that does not change that fact. So no, I don't think I'll stop, because if people's dislike of me will make people even just a little more inclined to read their fucking actions more closely next time and not making a fucking stupid self harming decisions like this again in the future just so they don't have to hear me bitching again in the future, then I am perfectly fine with that.

You're not helping your position by insulting everyone that voted for this just because you hate the action. It's obviously turning people against you.
The whole extra Diplomacy action, bonus to our Diplomacy score, and getting the entire idea of foreign relations into others heads has outweighed the potential time cost, and as shown from Leadership in the first turn, if we roll well we could even finish it early.

You'll note that right now I'm not trying to get anyone to follow my plans. I'm only taking the time to point on something that has cost us something that we couldn't risk to spend.
And besides, if I propose a plan, than I would think that people would be sensible enough to judge said plan on the plan's own merits rather than whoever makes it. I mean, unless they want to go for a bad plan just to spite me, or ignore good ideas because they can't get pass their dislike of someone, well again their own problem.
If pointing out the truth is insulting everyone, then how will we ever function has a society? That is a philosophical question that might need research and soul-searching.
And where did Arcman say that if we roll well enough than that action could be done earlier? Also, notice the IF, a chance, not a guarantee. With 5 fucking years, that is not good enough.
Then they simply forgot the consider that the action will take 5 fucking years and that the Scourge will start shit in 4 and that we need diplomatic actions with others now. Again, the circumstances and context of a situation is everything, but judging those we can tell which was the less optimal and even self harming decision.
Word of God please, because I only remember BS as being Before Scourge. I never saw Arcman say anywhere about it being before Scourge Arrives.

Its become quite clear that people just don't actually care what is being discussed and are just picking what ever has the best looking current numbers on the survey.
Any trying to actually focus them on the important goals is basically a waste of time with the survey format.

And I can see that they are doing what they think is the right course of action. But just because they think it is the right course of action does not mean that it is the right course of action.
Let's look at our context right now, 4 years BS, before the Scourge either comes or start the killing everyone, we are xenophobic spiders who hate others, idea takes 5 years.
To get other races to hate us less, it would take years to begin with. Then you add the 5 years we now have to spend to get our people to even accept external diplomacy and then years to set up basic diplomacy to begin with, and add the very small deadline that we have...
Well look Idea is a fine action in the long-term. In the Short-term it is decisively suboptimal considering the huge Short-term threat coming out way.
How about you quote it to me please? Since you actually know what to look for.

Hmm, I may be wrong since Leadership had an unknown amount of time on the action whereas Idea has a set amount.
Leadership: While your scientific army will work together like all Nerubians would, but... they have a habit of wasting time on countless arguments when their different views clash. While you love a good debate every now and then it does get annoying at times if it ends in waste, like here. Nerubians pride themselves on efficiency, and appointing a permanent leader to finally rein them all in... If you could actually find the best among them. It'll be hard to decide.
