Even then we have lots of magic users and cobalt archers to take them down. (Even the webspinners that can capture a few) We also have our own proto-dragon cavalry to fight them alongside the other Vrykul faction dragon riders if we help them out. Mainly without the Scourge supporting her the Queen and her followers will drown in our superior numbers.
Hm, how about an Intrigue action just stealing all her proto-drakes?
It'd be a shame to be forced to kill them, and given how pressed she is now, well, she shouldn't have many resources she can dedicate towards keeping those safe.
Plus makes it less likely for our own budding proto-drake aerial cavalry to suffer casualties.

There is an intrigue option to capture some grown proto-dragons but we have no idea if we need the intrigue for something else or if helping the good Vrykul faction will become a military action, remain an intrigue one, or take both to increase overall success. I would think that the Vrykul faction we are helping would give us proto-dragons and/or offer the enemy ones and their nests as a thank you reward alongside with swearing loyalty to us and later training our dragons and riders. So it may not be necessary to steal a few when our intrigue may be needed to help the Earthen or something else that comes up.

The only thing she could have that'd be a large-scale threat would be those proto-drakes.
Even with our losses we still have an absurd numbers advantage over her, and flyers of our own as well. They shouldn't be much of a threat now that we can focus on the iron Dwarfs and them.

Speaking of the Iron Dwarves could we take over their ancient capital after we are cleared it out or would it most likely be filled with Saronite and Old God corruption we shouldn't risk it?

After all of our OVERWHELMING victories... Why not just send a Diplomatic envoy to give them the what up and 'deal with them in the manner befitting a great nation such as their own'. A little ego stroke/subtle reminder of what war with us would mean and I can see them caving. Especially after we came in and RFOL STOMPED the enemy that nearly broke them... and then did the same to the faction they were looking to ally with.

I'm pretty sure they would rather have peace at this point if only to recuperate from getting kicked in the shins so hard in the last few years.

This would be true of the good Vrykul faction but the Queen and her followers may be so fanatic they won't listen to reason. Remember the Scourge and their followers have the means to bring back her dead husband who she loved very much she won't give that up easily. It would be better to turn over any of her followers that still have sense in them then kill off those Cult of the Damned fools and the Queen if she is isn't willing to stand down. Even then she will most likely be replaced with the leader of the other Vrykul faction.

Obviously we should focus our actions on the Iron Dwarves (because they're fucking with the Watchers and we need that group around).
I'm just thinking that if we get an opportunity without something else really important coming up, we should take it so as to reduce the amount of damage they could inflict, since we'll need all of them to go against the Iron Dwarves.

I agree we just need to see what the options are next turn.

Is the Iron Dwarf capital an underground city or one of those mountain holds? Maybe Dreadscale can flood it with lava so that we melt them to nothing.

IIRC, it's a mountain hold.
That said, I'm thinking Storm Peaks will be our primary focus for now, instead of Thor Modan.
We should obviously send aid to help the Earthen (though maybe the Alliance would be better for that? Then again they may want to head back and start Lich huntin'... the invasion party is at their weakest right now, would be a very good thing to see them exterminated early), but the mountains seem like it's gonna be far more vital to our continued survival.

Rumor Mill
Northrend Rumor Mill
The Mists: Late this year Tuskarr patrols witnessed a fleet of Kvaldir ships shrouded in mists sailing south, away from Northrend. They ignored the Tuskarr entirely, peculiar, but the Tuskarr didn't choose to follow the fleet any further. They set their boats back to Kaskala, the Tuskarr capital, with all haste after seeing a fin of a mighty Kraken break the waves.

Blighted Land: Icecrown had always been the most inhospitable land in all of Northrend, but now it has grown even worse. Travelers curious at finding out more of the enemy the Nerubian army faced this years tell tales of ice that glows a sickly green, of horrid spirits and madden arcane elementals that war upon each one. One even says he found the remnants of a clutch of corrupted dragon eggs, bathing in a dry pool dyed green after hearing and following the anguished cry of a dragon one night.

Azjol-Nerub Calls For...: Muradin Bronzebeard has returned to Northrend at the dawn of the new year, bringing back with him reinforcements for his expedition and a band of twenty-five warriors. Recruited from nearly all areas of the Eastern Kingdoms once word of the riches and tales he brought back from Northrend had spread. Though each had their own reasons of going to the northern continent, all were united in fighting and learning more of the apparent threat growing there. Muradin, unwilling to dawdle in the Eastern Kingdoms any longer set sail for Northrend once they all arrived at Menethil Harbor. Much to his surprise and everyone else on board, the fight they were expecting had already been concluded months before. And left many in the band of warriors wondering what to do now.

Giants!: A trio of Storm Giants was spotted by hidden scouts quietly observing the Nerubian colony in Crystalsong Forest. Shortly after the Nerubians fought off an attack by the crystalline golems mining the crystals there when a team of mages and researchers tried to do the same. Nothing came of it and the Storm Giants quickly retreated after an Earthen messenger and his guard raced up the pathway to the Stormpeaks, coming straight from the colony.

We should send these guys either to the Iron Dwarves or with us to the Stormpeaks to help the Watchers after we explain the threat the Old Gods and their followers pose.

Also have any Paladins, Priests, or just everyone of the party meet the Pit Lord so that they know how serious the Burning Legion is.

...So, vrykul sea raiders?
Not sure what we can do about that...

...Goddammit
Can we cleanse this place?

Hah!
Don't underestimate us.
Well, we'll gladly appreciate any help they give us far as fighting the Iron Dwarves go.

...Although, Arcman, did you mean 25 warriors or are there more there?
Because I can't quite see how just 25 dudes would be relevant.

...OK, so, why are these guys watching us?
Do they want to talk?

Can you imagine the debriefing the legion is having at the moment, it probably involved a bit of "How was I suppose to know there was a race of spider people there who happened to be completely immune to mental influence and the plague!!"
Where are you getting that immune to mental influence and the plague from?

Neat. Muradin brought adventures. We can use their help against the iron dwarfs and the corrupted watchers. That is going to require us telling them of our history and what the old gods are and why we don't worship anyone.

Canon Lore, it's the reason the Lich King had to fight a conventional war with the Nerubeans in canon. They were immune to the plague and he couldn't mentally dominate them either, actually now that I think about it say what you will about the Old God's when they make a minion race they don't skimp on anything.

So will we get a chance to attack the Kvaldir?
Because it's looking like the Scourge is trying to bring their super-heavy infantry with them, and I am in no mood for allowing that shit.

They are not apart of the Scourge just your average half-giant raiders and pirates. They left because of the resistance they were getting by the locals and wanting to avoid becoming lunch for a kraken that decided the area is great for getting food.
