It's not that bad, honestly. You should see what the Dreadlords are up to! :V

Raising the tens of thousands of people we just slaughtered with a horrible plague? Participating in a ritual that will create a giant earthquake on our city? Seducing Angerboda and her Vrykul to get tens of thousands more warriors?

None of our queens are corrupted and we can still Maexxna's corruption, think about it. The update said the cultists in the research group were the ones supplying the Saronite.

So if we manage to catch them moving the stuff then we got the first thread to follow for our glorious purge!!
Mexx hasnt been fed any Saronite yet.

And we need to finish the research on it now that we've begun. PURGE the Cultists and set up a proper intrigue net and even those who are newly converted will be caught out. Which is what we need more than to actually stop the research because the research leads to one thing above all else that could help... a way to prevent/cure the corruption.

So then we must purge!! Purge everything!!!

Question. If the research team is compromised...

Why would any of their research on how to cleanse saronite be any good? Wouldnt they be sabotaging our efforts?

I'm working on it. Luckily you guys saved all the Loa, and all are indebted to you at the moment.
THANK you.
So ok, we can still do this.

We just need a thorough PURGE EVERYTHING action, and there we go.
Maybe our work in not being assholes can convince Freya (I think that's hte one here) that we shouldn't be kill-on-sight.
Or maybe convince the Dragons to come and talk to us?
I mean we ARE their best chance at stopping the shit going down in Northrend without personally doing anything, given we've now clearly shown we're willing to interact with the outside world... in a manner that doesn't mark us as servants of the Old Gods.

I'm willing to offer all the troll slaves we have to the Loa if it means they give us the means to hunt down everyone of the cultist.
Agreed.
I am willing to create whole OCEANS of troll-blood for the Loa, mountains of troll-hearts to feed them.
Sacrifice each and every single troll in whatever damn ritual the Loa want.

Just get us those fucking re-rolls.

Fortunately our Martial guy should be suggesting a purge this coming turn, and for whatever reason good ol' king guy will give it the go-ahead.

@Arcman
Not sure if you can answer this, but... ARE the dragons paying attention to us, now that we're moving and apparently showing we want to try this whole diplomacy thing?
Have we gotten plus points from fighting to save those other people in Northrend from the raiders/returning captives?

I'm almost sure he won't answer any of that.

The only notable diplomatic endeavor by us that was actually cordial was with the Explorer's Guild, while on the military side, we've eradicated an entire species and decimated the Ice Troll population. So I think they're far more likely to stay away from us or kill us.

Gundrak's Fall: Late this year the Drakkari, the tribe of ice trolls that ruled over Zul'Drak from their capital city of Gundrak, have fallen from power. In less than a single day the armies of the Nerubian Empire have taken over the region entirely, enslaving the surviving ice trolls after killing off a majority of their population. The slaves are marched to the hidden city of Azjol-Nerub without even a mummer. Their hopes shattered at their utter defeat, crushed at the abandonment of the Loa and the spirits. All of whom are... grateful to the Nerubians. It baffles many in Northrend, but this impossibly quick victory and subjugation leaves all stunned.

Disappearances: Strange dreams and visions plague all in Northrend this year. The more spiritually inclined feel that a powerful presence as seemingly taken residence in the frozen continent, spreading its influence across all corners. And it calls to them, coercing with whispers unheard to all but them, guiding them. To where no one knows, those afflicted just up and vanish without a word, never to return.

???: While many of the findings of the Survey Legion in Icecrown are grim and foreboding about demons and undead, there have been very few sightings of a perplexing creature. A thin insect-like creature, almost skeletal, with a body shrouded in frost and ice. It wanders the glacial wastes and mutters incoherently to itself with feral eyes. It Seemingly teleports randomly across the region. Reports on it speculate that it is searching for something and is quite powerful, having ploymorphed one Nerubian scout into a savage murloc with but a glance.
