Trying for realism.

She has golden freckles! In addition to Kyuubys whose ears have those double ears that are annoying to shape right, I also dislike dresses and the legs underneath those dresses. Children are pains to draw.
Oh my god the circle thing looks like a bird's head. Realism's nice and cartoony realism can be pretty but still. I regret everything.
This is absolutely adorable. And just generally fantastic. Thank you for drawing and sharing these.

Can I ask why you want her to stay like that though? I mean, I was going to see if I could try for four stages with her as she gets her tails and grows in both experience and power.

Damn, this Etna looks like Kyuuby. :rage:
I sure like the look of that dashing and wonderfully-coloured fox currently being mauled by Etna. He seems like a handsome and intelligent chap.
How do you keep doing this? I can't even draw a stick figure! Choose where to put your 1 Stat point and 3500 Bonus XP while I link these on the front page, please. SIGH.

I hereby rename this quest, 'Camellia Breaks the System Quest'. Excuse me, I have to get some cider.

Have some art:

Edit: If you didn't want lots of art, you shouldn't have let us pick a kitsune character.
They're my favorite (as far as mythical beings I can actually draw).

Merci, that's either 10 XP for levelling or 50 XP for raising Skills/Magic! CHOOSE WISELY.

If you didn't want lots of art, you shouldn't have let us pick a kitsune character.
They're my favorite (as far as mythical beings I can actually draw).
... Admittedly I was planning on helping you guys level quickly anyway, but WHY IS EVERYONE THROWING ADORABLE ART AT ME?! Decide on how to spend your 2500 Bonus XP while I link these on the front page and weep. :jackiechan:

Etna confirmed for end boss.

Throw 1500 at Small Illusion and the rest at Minor Change, so we can innocently carve people up with long sharp nails.

Some of the stuff is a tie while some are not mutually exclusive @Zen

However they can be summed up with look for magic and practice using Illusion and Shapeshiftingwhile doing so. Also accept some Quest that we can do if we find them.

I'm not reading the tally. I'm too busy distributing assana's art XP and crying over the 50% bonus rate.
why god why
Can Etna talk? She doesn't have a human form yet. Might be adorably hard to accept quests like that.

[X] Equip Title: < Novice Illusionist >

We should probably activate that, and start work on the interface illusions now.

Little Bark Town 2
LITTLE BARK TOWN 2

Curled up in your Fortress of Solitude, you spend a few minutes distributing your starting XP and Stat point, your natural wisdom and intelligence allowing you to make the best of choices. Oh, and you turn the Friend/Party Requests and Whispers on. You might even deign to respond if someone worthy of your attention appears!

Unlikely, but it could happen.

Ah - and looking at your stats, it appears you've also spontaneously levelled up in several skills for no apparent reason. Fufufu~! As expected of your greatness! Even fate itself seeks to correct these pathetic numbers to reflect your true power!
Reached Lvl 10 Illusion magic! Gained title < Novice Illusionist >!
Excell-
Reached Lvl 10 Shapeshifting magic! Gained title < Novice Shapeshifter >!
Yes, yes, go away. You bat the stupid pop-ups aside ('Novice'? As if.). For now, there's work to be done, and time stops for no adorable yet magnificent Kitsune!

Equipping one of your paltry new titles, you depart your Fortress with a powerful and devestating stride, yipping scathingly at an NPC whose pre-programmed path intersects your chosen route. The peon.

It's obvious what must be done; magic must be learned. Magic must be trained. Maybe you'll even complete a few quests, if you can find one worthy of your time and effort.

With typical vulpine grace, you saunter past a Weapons shop, senses alert for any sign of a skill teacher or trainer. It doesn't take you long to find several; the smithy seems to teach, well, Smithing; the tailor teaches Tailoring (shockingly), and there are four blandly-smiling mages standing around outside a library, who unlock Fire, Water, Earth and Air magic, respectively. Plus, there's some girl in the street who's teaching Dancing. She seems like she'd be an idiot even at full A.I.

This would be a fairly successful search, except for the fact that those blasted, SELFISH mages insist you raise one of their elements up to level 10 before you attain a second. Even raising a limp paw at them and tilting your head sadly does nothing - their hearts are as steel, and their respect for your nobility nonexistent.

You kick a rock at one of them and leave, absolutely not sulking, after having learned
[ ] Earth magic
[ ] Air magic
[ ] Fire magic
[ ] Water magic

It's not like you can level it up at the moment, anyway, being rather too busy training your Illusion and Shapeshifting with a few spells cast whenever your MP regenerates - which is far too slowly for your liking. There are undoubtedly items or ways to increase such things, but... you're somewhat lacking in knowledge of what those may be. Apart from 'beneath you', obviously.

At the very least, amongst all this annoyingly slow training, you find several quests; the first is some innkeeper wanting his Inn's cellar cleared of rats. You're not sure why anyone wouldn't want a ready food supply in their basement, but Humans are strange and mysterious animals.

[ ] Accept rat-killing quest? [Y/N]
- Time-limit: 1 hour. Rewards: 50 XP. Rat Leather.
... What is 'rat leather'...?

It doesn't take long to find others. Unfortunately, they're all pathetic. Much like everything else around this dump, including these morons whose A.I. is too low to realise they're talking to a (majestic!) fox.

[ ] Accept quest of... making a sandwich? [Y/N]
- Time-limit: 10 minutes. Rewards: 1 XP.
Sounds like you'll need sand for this one. Maybe there's a beach nearby?

[ ] Accept quest of sketching the Art Supply Store owner's portrait? (Unlocked by Drawing Skill!)[Y/N]
- Time-limit: 1 hour. Rewards: Variable.
Ara~ If you just draw them as a Kitsune, it's fine, right?

[ ] Accept quest of retreiving fruit from orchard outside town? [Y/N]
- Time-limit: 30 minutes. Rewards: 30 XP. Leather Boots.
Hopefully not rat leather.

[ ] Accept quest of killing 10 rabbits outside town? [Y/N]
- Time-limit: None. Rewards: 20 XP. Weapon. Shame of killing innocent bunnies.
Sounds delicious.

[ ] Accept quest of finding a child's lost toy, SOMEWHERE in town? [Y/N]
- Time-limit: None. Rewards: 1 XP. A little girl's happiness.
That's not shiny at all!

Fufufu~! With these in hand, you'll certainly emerge victorious as Kitsune Overlady, or something similar but even more grandiose-sounding! As expected of you!

[GM: Select as many quests as you'd like, working on the assumption that if there's a time-limit, you start completing the quest immediately after accepting it.)]

In your expert search of the town, you have also discovered:
> Weapons Shop
> Equipment Shop
> Armor Shop
> Inn
> Art Supplies Store
> Library
> Clothes Shop
> Small Temple
> Various food and minor item stalls

Apart from quests, you:
[ ] Make use of those other Skill tutors! Although that'll probably take some time...
-[ ] Smithing
-[ ] Tailoring
-[ ] ... Dancing
[ ] (Something else?)
