You examine the frozen Chiaki and after a few pokes and a few shouts near her ear you find that the Magical Girl is, in fact, frozen, like she's passed out but not really.
You saw a few human movies back then and dumping water on people's face worked on those, maybe you should try that? Yeah that's what you're gonna do.
Problem is, you don't see any source of water around, and you wouldn't have anything to carry it around on anyway.
Your head turn toward the infirmary and you remember seeing a bathroom on the way in.
You march inside and see that, yes, there's a bathroom inside. You make your way to it, carefully avoiding the bodies of the knocked out people inside.
The bathroom's rather cramped,but you see a sink tucked in on the left wall.
Well the water's not a problem anymore but you still don't have anything to carry it on.
You're about to march outside to search for something when an idea hits you. You could use ice to make a bucket!
Sure you're not used to making small things with it,but how hard can it be?
Five minutes later and several failed attemps later you curse yourself for thinking that, but at least you managed to make something usable. Sure it's bloated and it isn't completely round and it's twice as big as it should be but that's just details.
And who cares about those rigth? So long as it works you're ok with it.
(Gained the amateur ice sculptor ability!)

Another five minutes pass before you're fed up with trying to find a way to put the edge of the 'bucket' beneath the faucet and you decide to take the path of least resistance and just break part of the sink off, you saved the life of everyone here, they'll understand.
You carry your work outside and promply stop in front of Chiaki, you then pull the bucket back and throw it's content rigth at the girl, thanks to the bucket's 'extra capacity' she winds getting up completely soaked.
Chiaki let's out a gasp as the ice-cold water hits her and falls back with a yelp."W-w-what the hell was that f-f-for?! She chitters out looking at her now soaked clothes.
"You kinda froze for a few minutes there."you explain with an easy smile"You're stat screen said you were 'blue screened' whatever that is, And I though I should wake you up." You point at your bucket"So I went and got some water, I couldn't make it any smaller so I wound up bringing a lot more than I needed"you shrug, putting down th bucket"but it worked so..."
Chiaki's stares at you again"Stat screen? Nonononono you know what I don't care."she waves her arms in front of her while turning her face toward the ground"You're for real aren't you?"she asks after a while"about being a demon I mean. You're not just pulling my leg rigth?"
You shake your head.
Chiaki lets out a colossal sigh"Of course you aren't."you hear her mutter an 'Just my luck' before she closes her eyes and starts to mutter something else, though you can't tell what it is.
You clear your throat to call her attention.
"What is it." She asks flatly
"So you're a magical girl?"you ask
"Yep how'dja know?"
"It's you class."you state with a brigth smile
Chiaki gives you a look"Class?"
You nod"Yep. Don't you know how to check those?"you ask
"Wait I can..."
"By the way how is it? Being a magical girl I mean I met one back in the Netherworld, worked at the nursery for a while, but we barely got to talk before she pissed off the cleric in charge and got run off, something about being too kind to people and make the owner seem like a softie."
"Well it's not... wait magical girl in Hell?"
"Humhum I mean it's not too usual, but it's the Netherworld, weird stuff happens a lot down there, I mean last year there was this girl mind controlling everyone into making random people president last year."
"President?"
You nod"It's preety much being an Overlord I guess, if you take one down you can take his place. Anyway what about you, when did you become a magical girl? Do you have a mascot? The one in the netherworld didn't."
Chiaki suddently grimaces"I've been a magical for over a year now, I'm lucky apparently most girls don't make it this far." She looks at you and you can see tears forming on the corners of her eyes"I though it was like on TV."she admited with a forced smile"But it isn't, everyone's just so... agressive everyone figths for territory because if they don't then..."She pulled out the brigth orange gem again, tough this time it looks a bit clouded, it has the same feeling as the 'stuff' from the Barrier"the name Soul gem is literal y'know"she says" It's my soul in here and if it goes completely black... I'll die."
You suddently realized why she was so angry before "You though I was moving in on your territory rigth."you ask on a low voice.
She nods, on the verge of tears

You give the brunnete an unsure look and wonder what to do next.
On the one hand your demon side is telling you to walk away, this isn't your buisness.
On the other Chiaki's crying face looks so much like a cute puppy's you're sure she could melt an iceberg with sheer adorableness.
Eventually the puppy eyes win over your demonic blood and you give the girl a hug.
She lets out a small gasp as you grab her and you feel her tense up for a second before she gives in.
Chiaki gives you a logth push and you drop her"Sorry about that."she sobs pulling out a grief seed and placing it against her soul gem"I let the corruption build up too much. Wasn't thinking straigth." She sounds considerably more composed now, tough you still hear her hiccuping occasionaly."Youre preety cold you know? Your body is I mean."
"I'm a death."you say .Death's cold, you tough all Humans knew that
Chiaki gives you an uneasy smile for some reason "Aaaanyway do you need something? I owe you one for pulling me out of that."
You hum for a few seconds in tough before a few questions cross your mind"Actually there's a few things I need to ask."
Chiaki nods with a small smile"Seems reasonable. Wanna go elsewhere? I think we should go somewhere a bit...safer before that. You don't mind rigth?"
You shake your head and Chiaki tells you to follow after her.

Chiaki leads you through the streets of Kazamino and points out a few spots she deems worthy of attention once she realizes you've only been in the city for a few hours.
She points you toward a two storey building with one of those circular optical illusion things on the entrance.
"That's Hypnosis, it's a preety nice club, if you like that kinda stuff I mean. It's run by a really old magical girl apparently, never met her but they say she helps out of towners settle in, so she can't be that bad rigth?"

She also points out several restaurants, the town park and a few other important city buildings on the way to wherever you're going.

As you try to dismiss the messages you bump into Chiaki who has stopped moving.
"What were you doing?"
"Getting rid of a few messages is all. You know how it is."
Chiaki gives you that weird look again but she regains her composure soon enough and brings you to a white house with a luxurious garden on the front.
And when you say 'luxurious' you mean it, the grass is large and lush, there's a path of rocks coming from the sidewalk to the porch of the otherwise plain house, flowers blooming around the whole thing and sevral other plants including several different soecies of bushes and trees you didn't even know existed.
Once she sees you looking she tells you that her mother's hobby is gardening and that she takes it a little bit too seriously.
If that garden is what a 'a little bit serious' human can do you wonder what the garden of a serious human would look like. You don't see these things in the Netherworld... then again things only grow in someplaces there.

Chiaki walks through the path and turns back to see you swatting the annoying message away, she sighs and tells you to follow after her.

You are currently sitting on the couch of Chiaki's living room with your feet on top of the table, Chiaki is currently grabbing some snacks in the kitchen and you are watching TV, it's some show about a kid catching monsters and becoming 'the best there ever was'.
You don't get half of it but it's preety fun anyway, you should get a few copies of the show for when you go back to the Netherworld.
Chiaki comes back with a tray filled with bowls containing peanuts, nuts, chocolate and other assorted sweets and snacks.
She takes a look at you uses her foot to push your feet out of the table before serting down the tray.
"Mind your maners."she says in a mock reprehensive tone,wiggling her index finger at you,before sitting down herself and pulling out a handfull of peanuts"Didn't know what you liked so I brought a bit of everything." She says in between bites.
You give her a mischevious grin"Mind your manners."you say mimicking her earlier tone and motion.
She laughs and you grab a handfull of snacks yourself.
(Gorging yourself with sweet and salty food has completely restored HP and SP!)

"So how are magical girls made."you ask"I remember something about magical pets and saving the world from the shows but that's all."
Chiaki's face sours"It's kinda like that."she says after a while"We get offered a wish by Kyubey, he kinda looks like a rabit and a cat had a baby and it developed albinism during it's rebellious teenage phase."you almost hear her chuckling"He shows up and offers girls with the potential to become magical girls a wish and in exchange they will figth Witches and collect grief seeds."her expression shifts into one of untold fury"But it's all a lie!"she almost shouts"The system's made to screw us over. He doesn't even tell you a bit of what actually happens after you make your wish."Chiaki pulls out her soul gem from her necklacke, the orange gem glowing violently from within it's golden cage"He pulls your soul out and places it into this. See this black stuff rigth here?"she points at the bottom of the gem"If it completely fills up your gem you... die I guess? Never bothered to ask anymore than that. Actually I just don't wanna know. Period."
You glance at the soul gem,then at the girl and say" Why haven't you reincarnated yet then?" You ask in a curious tone.
"Reincarnate?" I don't suppose you mean coming back to life as another person do you?" She asks with a curious expression.
Does she live under a rock or something?
"Well you go to the senate and pay them to pull out your soul and place it in a new body." You can see Chiaki's expression ligthing up after you say that"Of course you'll be a lot weaker than you are now after it but it raises your potential so your strength increases a lot more overtime."
Chiaki's expression morphs into one of incredulity"You're joking rigth? I misheard something you're telling me you can fix...this?"she points at the soul gem.
"I can try buuut I can't make a you a new body so unless you go out,kill someone and bring me the body no deal."You shrug missing Chiaki's wide eyed look"But the folk at the senate do it all the time, I spent a lot of time buttering-up the senators so I can probably get you an audience."
Chiaki looks like she's about to say something but suddently cuts herself off and casts a suspicious glare in your direction"What's the catch?" She asks"That's way too good to be true, there's gotta be something else you aren't telling me."
You think for a few seconds and..."Nothing comes to mind." You say with a earnest smile"Well I couuuld use a new employee at my office but that's up to you."you say with a wink.
Chiaki keeps up the suspicious glare"That's all? No turning me into a demon?"
"Not unless you want to."
"No damning my soul to Hell?"
"You're safe for now."
"How the heck do you know that?"
"I'm a Death. I gotta know where to put you after you kick the bucket."you say in a dedpan.
"Ahhhh. T-that's rigth huum anyway when can you do this reincarnation thing... Soon?"She sounds...hopefull?
You nod"As soon as I'm done with my job I'll take you there."you say with a reassuring smile"Actually that's got to do with my questions, the last one actually. You wouldn't happen to know a girl named Tamiko Mifune and where to find her would you?"
Chiaki grimaces"unfortunately." She says"The magical girl gang that controls the west of Kazamino has her, I don't know if she's contracted or not but they've been trying to get her to. The damn love and justice spiel, spineless bitches."She growls gnashing her theet and balling up her fists"How can they that to someone else and sleep at nigth? What kind of person would ruin someone else's life just to bolster their numbers a bit? I can't stop them by myself but..."She gives you a deteemined look"You're after that girl aren't you? I don't know why but I know the Capela isn't going to let you get to her."
Oh they aren't? Guess you'll have to figth them.

"What I mean is Capela isn't getting away with this crap just because they don't have any serious competition anymore, so If you're going after that girl so am I!"

"Celina Vie came from out of the country, Paris I think, she's the newest of the group,never saw her myself, her weapon's a rapier and she's fast and I mean fast so fast she leaves behind afterimages at top speed.
"Shizuka Enoshima is the leader, met her a few times she's cocky and thinks she's untouchable, she uses a massive hammer and creates magical barriers. Her MG outfit looks like blacksmith's clothes."
"Never saw a lot of Toko Nagaya but from what I've heard she's devoted to Enoshima , like madly so, they hunt together, they figth together heck I'd say they live together with how close they are."Chiaki looks flustered for a second"N-not that they do! I mean... Moving on, she has these long sleeves on a shaman outfit she uses like a whip and controls the ground, though from what I saw it takes a lot of corruption to use."
"Thank you Chiaki. Now..."you smile"Shall we go hunting?"
Chiaki looks unsettled for some reason.

On the other Chiaki's crying face looks so much like a cute puppy's you're sure she could melt an iceberg with sheer adorableness.
Eventually the puppy eyes win over your demonic blood and you give the girl a hug.
She lets out a small gasp as you grab her and you feel her tense up for a second before she gives in.
Chiaki gives you a logth push and you drop her"Sorry about that."she sobs pulling out a grief seed and placing it against her soul gem"I let the corruption build up too much. Wasn't thinking straigth." She sounds considerably more composed now, tough you still hear her hiccuping occasionaly."Youre preety cold you know? Your body is I mean."
"I'm a death."you say .Death's cold, you tough all Humans knew that
Chiaki gives you an uneasy smile for some reason "Aaaanyway do you need something? I owe you one for pulling me out of that."
You hum for a few seconds in tough before a few questions cross your mind"Actually there's a few things I need to ask."
Chiaki nods with a small smile"Seems reasonable. Wanna go elsewhere? I think we should go somewhere a bit...safer before that. You don't mind rigth?"
You shake your head and Chiaki tells you to follow after her.
You get the feeling you're forgetting something.
Eh it's probably nothing.

Chiaki leads you through the streets of Kazamino and points out a few spots she deems worthy of attention once she realizes you've only been in the city for a few hours.
She points you toward a two storey building with one of those circular optical illusion things on the entrance.
"That's Hypnosis, it's a preety nice club, if you like that kinda stuff I mean. It's run by a really old magical girl apparently, never met her but they say she helps out of towners settle in, so she can't be that bad rigth?"

She also points out several restaurants, the town park and a few other important city buildings on the way to wherever you're going.

As you try to dismiss the messages you bump into Chiaki who has stopped moving.
"What were you doing?"
"Getting rid of a few messages is all. You know how it is."
Chiaki gives you that weird look again but she regains her composure soon enough and brings you to a white house with a luxurious garden on the front.
And when you say 'luxurious' you mean it, the grass is large and lush, there's a path of rocks coming from the sidewalk to the porch of the otherwise plain house, flowers blooming around the whole thing and sevral other plants including several different soecies of bushes and trees you didn't even know existed.
Once she sees you looking she tells you that her mother's hobby is gardening and that she takes it a little bit too seriously.
If that garden is what a 'a little bit serious' human can do you wonder what the garden of a serious human would look like. You don't see these things in the Netherworld... then again things only grow in someplaces there.

Chiaki walks through the path and turns back to see you swatting the annoying message away, she sighs and tells you to follow after her.

You are currently sitting on the couch of Chiaki's living room with your feet on top of the table, Chiaki is currently grabbing some snacks in the kitchen and you are watching TV, it's some show about a kid catching monsters and becoming 'the best there ever was'.
You don't get half of it but it's preety fun anyway, you should get a few copies of the show for when you go back to the Netherworld.
Chiaki comes back with a tray filled with bowls containing peanuts, nuts, chocolate and other assorted sweets and snacks.
She takes a look at you uses her foot to push your feet out of the table before serting down the tray.
"Mind your maners."she says in a mock reprehensive tone,wiggling her index finger at you,before sitting down herself and pulling out a handfull of peanuts"Didn't know what you liked so I brought a bit of everything." She says in between bites.
You give her a mischevious grin"Mind your manners."you say mimicking her earlier tone and motion.
She laughs and you grab a handfull of snacks yourself.
(Gorging yourself with sweet and salty food has completely restored HP and SP!)

"So how are magical girls made."you ask"I remember something about magical pets and saving the world from the shows but that's all."
Chiaki's face sours"It's kinda like that."she says after a while"We get offered a wish by Kyubey, he kinda looks like a rabit and a cat had a baby and it developed albinism during it's rebellious teenage phase."you almost hear her chuckling"He shows up and offers girls with the potential to become magical girls a wish and in exchange they will figth Witches and collect grief seeds."her expression shifts into one of untold fury"But it's all a lie!"she almost shouts"The system's made to screw us over. He doesn't even tell you a bit of what actually happens after you make your wish."Chiaki pulls out her soul gem from her necklacke, the orange gem glowing violently from within it's golden cage"He pulls your soul out and places it into this. See this black stuff rigth here?"she points at the bottom of the gem"If it completely fills up your gem you... die I guess? Never bothered to ask anymore than that. Actually I just don't wanna know. Period."
You glance at the soul gem,then at the girl and say" Why haven't you reincarnated yet then?" You ask in a curious tone.
"Reincarnate?" I don't suppose you mean coming back to life as another person do you?" She asks with a curious expression.
Does she live under a rock or something?
"Well you go to the senate and pay them to pull out your soul and place it in a new body." You can see Chiaki's expression ligthing up after you say that"Of course you'll be a lot weaker than you are now after it but it raises your potential so your strength increases a lot more overtime."
Chiaki's expression morphs into one of incredulity"You're joking rigth? I misheard something you're telling me you can fix...this?"she points at the soul gem.
"I can try buuut I can't make a you a new body so unless you go out,kill someone and bring me the body no deal."You shrug missing Chiaki's wide eyed look"But the folk at the senate do it all the time, I spent a lot of time buttering-up the senators so I can probably get you an audience."
Chiaki looks like she's about to say something but suddently cuts herself off and casts a suspicious glare in your direction"What's the catch?" She asks"That's way too good to be true, there's gotta be something else you aren't telling me."
You think for a few seconds and..."Nothing comes to mind." You say with a earnest smile"Well I couuuld use a new employee at my office but that's up to you."you say with a wink.
Chiaki keeps up the suspicious glare"That's all? No turning me into a demon?"
"Not unless you want to."
"No damning my soul to Hell?"
"You're safe for now."
"How the heck do you know that?"
"I'm a Death. I gotta know where to put you after you kick the bucket."you say in a dedpan.
"Ahhhh. T-that's rigth huum anyway when can you do this reincarnation thing... Soon?"She sounds...hopefull?
You nod"As soon as I'm done with my job I'll take you there."you say with a reassuring smile"Actually that's got to do with my questions, the last one actually. You wouldn't happen to know a girl named Tamiko Mifune and where to find her would you?"
Chiaki grimaces"unfortunately." She says"The magical girl gang that controls the west of Kazamino has her, I don't know if she's contracted or not but they've been trying to get her to. The damn love and justice spiel, spineless bitches."She growls gnashing her theet and balling up her fists"How can they that to someone else and sleep at nigth? What kind of person would ruin someone else's life just to bolster their numbers a bit? I can't stop them by myself but..."She gives you a deteemined look"You're after that girl aren't you? I don't know why but I know the Capela isn't going to let you get to her."
Oh they aren't? Guess you'll have to figth them.
What a tragedy.
"What I mean is Capela isn't getting away with this crap just because they don't have any serious competition anymore, so If you're going after that girl so am I!"

You quirk a smile"The more the merrier." You say."Anyway what do you know about them?"
"Not a lot."she said "Kept away from them for the most part but I know a few things."
"Celina Vie came from out of the country, Paris I think, she's the newest of the group,never saw her myself, her weapon's a rapier and she's fast and I mean fast so fast she leaves behind afterimages at top speed.
"Shizuka Enoshima is the leader, met her a few times she's cocky and thinks she's untouchable, she uses a massive hammer and creates magical barriers. Her MG outfit looks like blacksmith's clothes."
"Never saw a lot of Toko Nagaya but from what I've heard she's devoted to Enoshima , like madly so, they hunt together, they figth together heck I'd say they live together with how close they are."Chiaki looks flustered for a second"N-not that they do! I mean... Moving on, she has these long sleeves on a shaman outfit she uses like a whip and controls the ground, though from what I saw it takes a lot of corruption to use."
"Thank you Chiaki. Now..."you smile"Shall we go hunting?"
Chiaki looks unsettled for some reason.
You wonder why that is.

AN:Well that chapter took me exactly three days... Sorry for that had to rewrite this thing several times before it came out allrigth.
Anyway your first job is close to ending now, it should be about 2 to 4 more updates and we'll wrap things up in PMMM for now.
