Tsundere Villainess - Dungeon Queen - Dungeon Quest

[X] Equip your goblins
You quickly get the armor distributed among all your goblins, they fight over it a bit but you quickly get them to settle down. You size them up afterards. You just got quite the formidable force! You now have a bunch of goblins wearing full armor and armed with weapons!

[X] Set out to try to find a teacher for

--[X]Healing... DARK Healing. Or something. It's not like you're worried your goblins might get hurt, or anything. It's just it would be inconvenient if they couldn't work. Right. That's it.
[X] Add more traps! This place wasn't nearly dangerous enough yet!
-[X]Mostly non-lethal of course. Not that you care about any adventurers. You just need to make sure you can ransom them. It's just more efficient that way.

You decide to set out, you needed to improve yourself if you were going to be a proper villainess. You tell the goblins to start setting up traps in your absence and set off. Soon you find yourself at the town and you manage to find your way to the admittedly pitiful mages guild, perhaps your next step should be to boost the town up so you can get a better influx of adventurers? This is in the middle of nowhere after all.

You manage to talk somebody into teaching you magic, this practice takes a few weeks but you finally got yours lessons worth, you now understand the basics of magic and are a competent caster, in addition the goblins have managed to heavily fortify the entrance to the mines, theres no way any novice hero could get through it, though many of the traps do need manual resetting so if they're neglected they may become ignorable for heroes. You managed to learn some dark healing which you are quickly to promptly demonstrate when an accident with the traps occours. You can tell they were very impressed. You also heard while you were gone some people wandered in and were caught by the traps, you now had a bit more money, and some notoriety as people were known to be disappearing when they came here.

Do you mean something like doing a write in explaining how they could be done concurrently, or something more like an omake? :confused:
The former rather than the latter, if you can figure out how to effectivly manage to squeeze a third option in, i'll allow it.
Does this imply that we passively continue training magic henceforth?
A little bit, it's not worth much, you will be able to go to a teacher for it again later, but at present you need to give it some downtime.

Due to a perceived lack of interest, I think I may close this and my other quest down. I unfortunately just don't have the motivation to run for just what feels like three people voting. (I aware it's more, but thats what it feels like.)

That's about average for Quests from what I see.

But if you want to put the quest in hibernation, that's up to you.

As to the numbers, with the exception of quests by particularly renowned QMs, and/or those in particularly popular settings, quests usually start out with quite a small cohort of quaestors.

More will come as the quest progresses, but what you have now is actually a bit above average for a freshly-started original quest.

Ah I see. I tend to join fresh quests and they always seem to have a huge number of people, thanks for the explaination.

You get cracking down to work, you quickly order most of the goblins to get to work on mining out a sizable sum of ores, and as they do that you take some of the riches you have amassed and set out ... You rent out a space in the tavern and start setting up an advertisement campaign, soon you have a long line of people lining up wanting to be your official trapsmith, oh dear, this could be troublesome, what kind of qualities are there that you desire more than anything else in your trapsmith? You can hire one or two at most, what kind of skills must they be key at? Trap specilizations? And other assorted things that don't immidiatly come to mind but are most certainly a requirement to be -YOUR- trapsmith!

These are not nessisarily mutually exclusive and you can elaborate as much as you like.
