[x] Assault the mine.
-[x] Approach it in the form of a bird, then alight somewhere relatively nearby, and change unseen into the form of a small emaciated girl-child, with long, tangled black hair, dirty and bedraggled hair, and a faintly unsettling cast to her features.

[X] Assault the mine.
-[X] Start by collapsing the entrance to the mine.

You consider the situation a bit more before deciding to seal the entrance to the mine first. If the humans would take refuge inside the mine it would make it harder for you to deal with them.

You fold your wings and dive towards the entrance to the mine. The wind rushes across your body as the ground gets closer and closer!

"RRRWWWWAAAAAA!" You crash onto the side of the mountain, just above the entrance to the mine, bending your limbs to absorb the shock. The small area of the mountain around you crumbles, and you further separate it from the mountain proper with your powerful claws.

Rocks and dirt fall, covering the entrance to the mine and almost completely blocking the shouts of those inside it. You'll have to clear the entrance and deal with them later, but for now they can't leave, and the other humans can't enter.

You turn away from the mine, directing your flame-colored eyes towards the humans of the outpost. There are three groups: Those who run into the various wooden buildings, those who run towards the gate and a certain group of the guards manages to retain some discipline and rally around the commander who is standing near the base of the tower.

You start to step towards the tower, looking at the fearful guards and at the workers who are peeking at you from the windows of the buildings they're hiding him. The commander of the guards glances behind him at the gate, and that's all you need to act. After all, you'd rather deal with them as a group instead of having them escape and needing to chase down all of them.

The group of guards that have started running away almost reaches the gates when a group of the guards that were patrolling the exterior of the outpost rushes back in. Amusingly enough the two groups stumble into each other, and one of the guards yells, "Run away, it's a dragon!" Trying to urge them all to escape.

But you can't have that. You flap your wings once more, jumping above the tower and landing on top of the open gate, smashing it and a section of the wooded wall to pieces.

The group of guards you landed nearby freeze, the understanding that you blocked their only route of escape dawning on their minds.

"I don't think that your commander has ordered you to escape, hasn't he~?" You ask, mocking the guards, "Such cowardice."

The group of guards that tried to escape turn and runs away, spreading around the outpost. Meanwhile, the commander of the guards steps forward a bit with his group of guards and the tower behind him.

"What do you want, dragon!?" He asks, trying to appear brave. "Don't think that you can attack us like that and survive for long. Belcia won't let you roam freely if you attack it's people!"

[ ] "Oh, I'm counting on it. I'll let you and your people live, but in return you will spread the word. Tell them that Kalarith, the Skylord has returned!" Let the guards and workers leave unharmed, so that they can spread the word about you.
[ ] "They can try. But if they invade my territory they will pay dearly. This mine is mine!" Let the guards and workers leave unharmed, after they pull out everything they already mined out of your mine.
[ ] "Not if nobody is alive to tell them about it..." Kill them all. You'll still have to deal with the workers inside the mine, afterwards.

It was a busy week, I'm sorry for the delay :<

Someone needs to gather all that loot. And if they send warriors to deal with you, - probably far better equipped than mere gueards, - it would only mean more loot. It's a win-win.

your flame-colored towards
Am I missing something, or did we scare a noun right out of the story? :V

-[x] Raze the outpost afterwards, they won't be coming back here.

Puny mortal grammar has no power over dragons, RAWWWR! ;)

Well, the mine is not tapped out yet. Why not?

I'm more worried about its use as a mustering point for dragonslayers, we can always send our own people to mine it...if it's even mining anything we want. What if the puny humans are digging up something nasty like copper?

Of course if it is gold (or silver, platinum(?), etc), we might have more of a use for it....
