In a historic agreement, mediated by Jedi Master Kyarn, Taris has agreed to join the Republic in return for the Republic acknowledging their right to rule. Descendants of the original inhabitants of Taris are already returning, and they are getting industry up and running and chasing out pirates.

Already, plans are underway to raise the Endar Spire as a museum and tribute to Revan, the woman they say saved them all back before the bombardment..

Xiaomei was out in the training grounds, working on her meditation and tranquility. She had penned a few papers, which she was always unsure why the Temple just looked at her oddly, even when she explained she mostly submitted them as a discussion piece.

Her Master, though, was eager to discuss with her. Even going as far as to point her out to several resources she could use about the dress code.

The world around her went null, and she opened her eyes, seeing only an orange realm. A voice becokned, and she followed. Soon, she found herself in a cave, with a figure standing there. It was a young human woman with brown hair, dressed in .. what Xiaomei recognized as the style circa 400 BTC.

Wait.

"Are you.. Revan?" Xiaomei said quietly.

The woman turned in "I was once. I see someone who can walk my path has arrived.. and I seek only to guide you away from my mistakes."

Xiaomei frowns, and pauses. "I don't know if it's a matter of walking your path or not. I do not think I am the one to take down the Sith Emperor."

Revan shakes her head. "But you have the power inside you to dramtically change the flow of fate here. I will teach you a method to access all of who you are."

[Xiaomei unlocks access to her powers, gains Instant Transmission (limited) - must be a clear location.]

"Take this holocron here with you back to the temple." The woman indicates one. "Keep the other. It is time for my wisdom to be returned... and I must have some purpose as to why I have not become one with the Force."

Xiaomei nods, and .. when the memory fades out, finds herself a good hike away from the temple.. and has to hike back. She recieves some weird looks, but throws the Temple into surprise when she presents the holocron of Revan. Many Masters monopolize the holocron to start learning, and Xiaomei doesn't mention the second. She does keep training though.

Out and about, Xiaomei has some interactions with the Twi'lek pilgrims, and while she can't officially aid them.. she does help out several of the Twi'leks who need to leave the safety for reasons. One is to get matha cat teeth, another is to rescue a Twi'lek.. soon, they warm up to her as they realize that she's willing to stretch a point, even as she has to respect the official ruling of the Republic.

It helps the Jedi Temple have been trying to argue for at least a limited residency while they work out what best to do.

But soon.. a massive wave of Flesh Raiders attacked the Padawan Training Ground.

No, that's tracking what was added this world so you know what will be altered on transmigration. I'll uh.. fix the wording to indicate that.

...Was this also available last turn? I was operating under the assumption that we only had 30 RP and no AP available.

I also noticed that although FP has been retired as a resource, some options still require it, mainly Celestial.

Generally yes, I should have reread. Let me recalc leftover resources and them in real fast. I'll also fix the FP (thought I grabbed all of those). The spare AP has been added as spendable RP to the total.

It seems this should work correctly. I probably still don't see all the things, but whatever. As far as I understand, after this move there are 117 RP left.

Is it possible that Set One Good Roll can be used to reduce risk in certain actions?

To clarify about actions not yet added:
- Some actions about worlds won't appear until you land there (Tatooine, Taris, Hoth, Belsavis, Corellia)
- The personal starship one I'm still debating about.
- The quest is not projected to run through SWTOR past the end of the original storyline and as such I'm unsure if I should add actions which would be neat easter eggs, but net no bonus to you or Xiaomei.

When it comes to worlds, RWBY and Worm are often quite popular candidates. It's a little difficult to find worlds that fit well. Maybe the shounen trio, Bleach, Naruto and One Piece could also be candidates. Of course, this also depends on whether you are familiar with them.
 
I actually dislike both RWBY and Worm sufficiently I can't QM them. I did think about MHA, but I stopped watching that about season.. 4? so I'm very out of date.

Sadly a lot of the stuff I like is kinda like Gundam or Outlaw Star... that's an idea. 🤔

As for MHA, you can probably place Xiaomei in the Dark Age when quirks first appeared and All For One was active. Of course, we won't see most of the familiar characters, but this will allow you to play with the setting quite freely for the most part, and perhaps the society of the new Peaceful Age will be very different as a result of our actions.

I'm not familiar with Outlaw Star or Gundam, the latter scares me a little with the amount of media. (This is of course a rather strange claim from a Nasuverse fan.) What do you think of To Aru?
 
I have never seen To Aru. Most of the anime I like is hard to use (Violet Evergarden, Yuru Camp, etc.) or something I wouldn't use (Initial D/MF Ghost)

and I really should read more genre fiction since I tend to forget what I've read. (LNs are *surprisingly* forgettable.)

There are a lot of dead gods, across all that can be, all that cannot be, and what never was. Some of them were gods before the Underworld became a place of dark and evil.

Knowing Xiaomei has a Void affinity does help, actually. You can eliminate a lot of infinities.

The office was .. full of deities not doing work. And, honestly, a sinecure at the best of times. Only two deities were really bent, and the office was closed, and reopened as a liaison office to the local pantheons, who set up their own office in the Labyrinth.

But the oddity was a young girl who seemed to know what you were about, and merely smiled and disappeared, leaving behind a rainbow rose that vanished.

Seeing how the Sith Emperor basically slaughtered a planet to get his power.. well, it is trivial for you now to get a Sanction for that. The Celestial Bureaucracy, at least this infinity, does not permit mass sacrifice for godlike power except by sanctioned methods.

.. but more importantly, everyone is unwilling to empower someone who won't play well with others, really.

HoloNet Alert! The Miracle at Alderaan - Today, Bouris Ulgo turned over the throne to Duke Charle Organa, and turned himself in for the assassination of the former Queen of Alderaan and her heir. He dictated to his house that they are to follow the rule of House Organa, which proclaimed a regency until either a heir of House Panteer is found or a conclave of Houses can reach a consensus.

He also asked for formal Republic assistance in their civil war, with the Sith Empire backed Houses Rist and Thul, and moved to rejoin the Republic.

Already, House Ulgo and Organa forces have eliminated many holdings and hidden places of House Rist..

Analysts predict an increase in the severity of the Alderaan civil war..

Word spreads on Coruscant of Jedi who dress normally, but assist others in need, seeing service as a way to understand the Force. More importantly, though, they chase off the Justicar and Imperial footholds, and make the Black Sun sector quite nervous. Several politicans ... speed up their redemption of various civic projects.

It turns out that having Jedi stare at you while asking why you are not fulfilling your promises is quite unsettling. Who knew?

There's also some more pressure on the Jedi Council to act about this "rogue sect", but they are very furiously busy sending squads of Jedi to deal with something that even the SIS is busy with, alarming some of the more intelligent Senators, and the Republic Armed Forces are furiously changing ciphers, routes, and ramping up production of new-model gear.

Also, several people on the Jedi Council think it'd do the Republic a world of good to remember that they choose to be the Republic's protectors, but not answerable to the Republic except in the natural course of duty and law. Besides, the Green Jedi work with the Jedi Council, despite not agreeing with them on all matters. The Coruscanti Jedi might become another sect like that.

Hong Meiling .. well, it was inventive, creative, and fixed now. She had aid, from a Fallen Godddess, and by using the Labyrinth incorrectly, could actually intervene with the cycle..

You get the feeling that Hong Meiling is in for interesting times, as the Celestial Princess is on the warpath now.

Xiaomei Actions

Xiaomei .. drew the lightsaber she always had and activated it, drawing attention to her orange color, as she proceeded to demonstrate why angry Jedi Masters .. or Sith Darths.. generally could be called a one-person army if they specialized in combat applications of the Force.

She calmly strode forward, spinning the lightsaber to deflect blaster bolts back at the Fleshweavers, casually throwing the Fleshweavers back towards the rivers. In some cases, she'd grab their weapons, then send them back at others with excessive force.

It was an awe inspiring.. and worrying sight. Some would consider it excessive, but Xiaomei seemed to be serenely proceeding towards the largest concentration of encircled Padawans, step by step.

She would occasionally throw large bits of demolished building from the attacks to form impromptu barricades for the defense droids to use as firing platforms, as well as taking some from the fleshweavers. The Knights and Masters were able to secure the speeder platform and landing zone with her distraction an aid, and then began to push forward. Xiaomei was concentrating on rescuing the Padawns, and relics, and noticed to her puzzlement, that one was missing.

Much later, she reported back, and got to endure several lectures about her actions before she flatly stated.
"They had no interest in diplomacy, and evil must be opposed. Their intentions were abundantly clear, and while I take no pleasure in killing, and think it wasteful and to be avoided, I will not avoid it when required. It is always best to seek to avoid combat. It is bad to avoid combat to the extent you let others suffer for it."

The Masters eye her. "Where did you get that lightsaber from? It has a very unusual hilt."

"I made it." Xiaomei says. "I admit it's an unusual color."

"It is often those tempted by the Dark Side of the Force." Master Kaeden says. Xiaomei had rather expected to have to defend this..

"Orange means more that one is caught between both sides of the force." Xiaomei says. "There have been some Masters on the Council with orange blades. For that matter, Purple, sometimes associated with dark side users, is balance. The only color universally Sith is Red - due to the artificial crystals, or the Sith ritual -, and not Sith, is white - due to the purification needed to make a white kyber crystal. Blue and Green are simply predictable and culturally significant colors. It's like the Jedi Order's dress code, which came into existence roughly 3100 years ago as a result of the Second Great Schism - it was meant to reinforce the monastic and spiritual meanings of being a Jedi. All of it is cultural but not a requirement to pursue Balance or Light, in the Force."

The Grandmaster, Satele Shan, leaned forward. "That is a very cognizant overview.. and one I would expect from a Master in the Archives. I see you spend your time cleaning in there learning, as well."

Xiaomei nods. "I strive to improve myself, which cannot be just with a blade."

At that moment, Syo began to act.. and with an attempt at a Force Choke that Xiaomei very rudely interrupted by reshaping her lightsaber into a chakram. The Masters were -

"I am the First Son of the Emp-" Xiaomei stares.

"No, you're an implanted personality in Master Bakarn, aren't you?" Master Kaedan says. "Master Bakarn can still be returned to us."

"No, it is too-" Xiaomei attempts to concentrate, seeing if she can do anything.

[Concentration check: 1d100+44 vs DC 140 => 77; Failure]

Of course, she could not. This seemed too much for her.. but the Council was certainly able to act. Xiaomei tried to Force Cure anyway.

[Force Cure: Overburn. Attempting to cure => 1d100+55 vs DC 100 (-60 for acting in concert with Jedi Masters) => 105; Success; (Good Roll used); Xiaomei is now exhausted; -10 to all rolls for rest of week.]

The Jedi? turns to face her, but Xiaomei subtly boosted the Jedi Council's actions, allowing them to drive off the second spirit...only for Xiaomei to get thrown against the wall and knocked out, exhausted. Master Bakarn also collapsed to the ground after being cured.

At this time, Xiaomei received a portion of the divine power from the dead agents.. including the ability to teach any technique she knew. It burnt off some of the dark aura from her, and she was able to recover the next day.

The next day, her Master came to check on her in the infirmary. "You did well, Padawan. I have an idea as to the fourth holocron you weren't able to recover.."

(Respect +60 Jedi Order for recusing padawns, for trying to help heal Master Bakarn.)

As she sat there, meditating to recover her center, she felt a rainbow rose land in her hand, and the familiar scent of her wife's shampoo filled her nose, causing her to open her eyes in surprise, feeling a phantom hand on her face. "Stay Strong, Xiaoxiao."

She carefully stored the rose in her astral sea, and got up. She had work to do - to find the fourth holocron, and to check up more thoroughly on the Twi'lek village. She had done a cursory check, and helped repair some of their emergency barricades, but they understood she had to go find missing villagers and padawans - and she had found most of them alive and returned them..

.. but surely they had more needs?

She went on the path to them but was stopped by the sight of a datacron.. meditating at it, she felt her mind getting sharper, and could see in her minds eye the path to a ruined city and beyond it to another datacron.. a machine of some type.. and a beast wrapped in darkness. She noted it in her mind, and put it out.
