Cleaning this was.. well, an adventure. Some of these spaces were the size of a world, after all. But you debugged them, purified them, then cleaned out.

The oddity is that it seemed to increase the mood around the Bureaucracy, and a particularly grateful one gives you a tip that lets you see the World Goal.

Aphrael sends you a token of regard, as well, something she wants Xiaomei to get on the next world. It's apparently an upgrade to her caster gun.

The Chapel of the Void is restored, and the 'windows' become full of different sights, from a beautiful astral sea to a peaceful forest.

The altar in the center glows with a soft light, and you realize that the center figure looks a lot like Xiaomei, in vastly differnt garbs all the same.

You also realize that the warning light is bright red. That's.. well, an ill omen.

Taking bribes, aiding with demons going to places, including the Celestial Bureaucracy. Some were using it to take out worse threats, and just engaging in pragmatic deals - accept the lesser evil, etc.

They survived. Many didn't.

Xiaomei Actions
Meanwhile, back on the world you're observing, Xiaomei is trying to trace down the fourth holocron, and finds out it was likely taken by the chief protector of the village.. and heads off to find this person.

On the way, she stumbles on an overgrown path, and..

.. finds an timeworn marker of the Je'daii, the first Force users. Odd. She'd suspect it'd be worn out by now. She took a holoscan of it, knowing her Master would want in depth scans, but pauses at what writing remained. This was once a pilgrmage path.. and she followed. It was a long hike to the next temple.. and then she saw it, the Je'daii Temple of Knowledge, Kaleth.

(Rediscovered the Temples.)

And she knew she didn't have time to walk it herself, but she could .. she'd have to.. she'd turn it over to the Order.

Even if some part of her wanted badly to explore and see if the others could be found. There were a few known to the Order. What if they could find all nine?

But she had to find out what happened to that holocron.. so she turned back, regretfully. She didn't spot the faint form of a Je'daii Master nodding in approval at her decision, and started to find the Fleshweaver camps..

Only to find that the Twi'lek Defender was well on his way to becoming a Sith. Returning the relic to her Master, she also informed them, and the Jedi Order was.. well, amazed at the find.

The holocron-Revan was dubiously impressed with her dedication to her duty, but noted that she should have explored herself..

"I thought about it." Xiaomei admits. "But I know my fate is to do things, not contemplate on them. Regretfully."

Revan nods. ".. That is likely true. Your master.."

Xiaomei nods ".. there's something off about her."

Still, she had to go the ruins of the Dark Order to follow the Twi'lek's trail...

Xiaomei was presenting her argument about the dress code while the Jedi were busy verifying where the Twi'lek might have gone to, when she felt a Disturbance in the Force.

But that was irrelevant to her. She knew what the message was. But if she could buy time for others to escape - she should. She could see this world distort and wanted no part of it.

But the Force was leaving her, as she knew it must at one point. She was an outsider, and that was fine.

The room was turning black before her glow intensified, dispelling, and many Jedi shook loose of the corruption. They stood up, and began to attack in bunches, even with the power of the Goddess, and Xiaomei spotted the fact they were fighting was causing odd slowdowns.

She focused herself, knowing that soon they would regain power. They had this chance. Now, she had to strike with all of her might.

She could feel her blade vibrate as she attempted to route more power than it could withstand, as she attacked repeatedly, her tails lighting up in ethereal fire as she danced and slashed, a feat only a few Jedi Masters were echoing.

But it wouldn't be enough. Despite how far she had pushed, she could feel it. They just couldn't hope to deal this much damage.. but she remembered the whisper.

"Trust in who you are Xiao▩▩▩▩, and remember. The Winds of the King.."

"to restore the peace!..If not now, then when." She murmured. The Goddess? turned to face her, and she jumped back.

"Do you really think you can defeat me?" The thing mocked her, and Xiao▩▩▩▩ nodded.

"The First and Last Duty of Any Warrior is to stand between the enemy and the innocent." She echoed, more audibly as she committed herself. The Jedi Masters began to eye her serenely.

She was no longer a part of this world, but still had a duty to it, after all.

Her aura turned gold as she focused and begin to rise in the air, putting out her hand.

"The School of the Undefeated of the East!" Power begins to pool in her hand, gathering from everywhere.

"The ultimate technique!" The Goddess-.. Tenebrae.. hybrid? Began to unleash all of it's power at her, but before it could reach her -

"Sky and Earth Shattering Fist" The gold ball blasted through it, sending her into the mountain behind the temple, followed closely by Xiaomei beginning to burn a brilliant purple-blue.

"The lives you have taken - the destruction you have wrought - it ends now." Her voice echoes. "Face justice, Tenebrae, Sith Emperor." That got a startled reaction from a few - "and face justice, Takeda Dachika, for those who you have slain for your power." The fire around her forms into a phoenix, as her form begins to dissolve into the light.

It was going to happen. She hadn't had enough time to strengthen herself, so she had to consume her life force, as she had done so-where had that thought come from?-

- to defeat this monster. It was now neccesary, as much as she didn't like it.

I wanted to keep her alive but.. ultimately, the only way the character could win was to go to the extreme, and Xiao- would.

It does still accumulate, but you can spend the conversion actions now to start with it on the first actual world post., and I mean to spend some time today cleaning up the sheet and mechanics to get you a total with transmigration post setup so you can do that.

Well, that threw the cat into the pidgeons. Many protest loudly, but there's a lot more reports from very worried, very sober agents that indicate that there is something there. They unleash the Celestial Security Bureau on the problem.

And you promptly have to fight off several demonic agents. That's quite worrying. One goes to visit Xiao▩▩▩▩.. (will be resolved in World 3: Part 1.)

But you did find their plot - to set up corruptors, before it could start. The Host stays strong, and countermeasures begin to be set up.

There were rumblings that the Chiss Ascdendency was beginning to push more forward, and the Republic was undoubtably worried, with the persistent threat of the Black Hutt Cartel.

"Ah, young Knight." He recognized the distinctive voice of Obi-Wan Kenobi. "I see you have found the statue of Jedi Knight Xi'Rahn."

"I've never heard of her." Luke said truthfully. "But I thought Knights don't usually get statues?"

"Normally, no. But she defeated the Sith Emperor of her time, both through force of arms, and from her ability to shield others from the corruption of the Dark Side of the Force. That's half of why she's remembered. I have high hopes for this world. I thought between Charles Xavier and The Ancient One, but in the end I chose the first one - he should have more initiative to intervene in events happening in the world, and the ability to observe what is happening (Cerebro). We finally get a true kitsune maid! And I really miss good mutant stories after being completely disappointed with modern mutant comics.

By the way, which works are considered canon here, and what is the timeline? Two pretty important questions if we're going to get involved.

Using a metal sword is probably a bad idea considering Magneto, but a wooden or plastic/carbon one can serve as a relatively adequate replacement.

As for the Feats... As a mutant with foxy traits (or maybe even a genuine kitsune mistaken for one), Hitomi would probably have bonuses to interacting with mutants and malus to their haters. Although this probably doesn't count as a feat... I'm interested in having an innate affinity for magic to be able to attract the attention of wizards. Also, psychic abilities seem to be relatively common among mutants, maybe something like precognition or super instincts? It would also be nice if Hitomi could use a weapon that is not quite suitable for this, like a bokken, as a real sword, for example creating a cutting edge from mana. While this might be a bit of a controversial choice to go against a particular opponent, Magneto may deserve it.

Of course. As for Hitomi - a note that Takeda Hitomi is roughly "Jane Doe" - a placeholder name.

The timeline is.. uh.. I'm actually largely using MCUs, with backporting to have the X-Men roughly active at the same time as IM2 or the first CA movie. The reason, for example, you can't intervene with Natasha is that she doesn't graduate the Red Room for another decade or so.

So works are largely: MCU's first arc (which tbf, the world boss is probably going to not be Thanos, a level 60ish Titan, but maybe Magneto or Alexander or *maybe* Hela.) and with weaving in of X-Men canon from wiki dives, half remembered cartoon, movies, and very dimly remembered AT4W stuff.

(Hitomi is an actual kitsune pretending to be a mutant, though... but really it's probably both.)

Sounds useful! I'm mostly making suggestions based on the benefit to the plot and how cool it sounds, much less about the numbers.
 
OK. I'm still working on the sheet, hence why it's been slowed down, but if I can get some feat ideas, that'd be great.

Also: I just realized that Hitomi will likely count as sufficiently psychic that she's going to have all of these metasuggestions and no clue which to do first..
