...Jaime, Dude, I love you but what the Seven Hells?
Well with Jaime that means only one thing, considering he's been a bodyguard for a king for most his life...
You can certainly ask him. He is one of the options on the list, after all.
The song of unsheathed Valyrian steel sings in your ear as you see Jaime draw Brightroar, his ancestral sword, and point it at his father as he speaks aloud for all to hear. "Tywin Lannister, you are hereby arrested on the charges of treason and conspiring to murder the Royal Family."
"Men of the Watch," Aegon speaks firmly from twenty feet away, drawing his own steel. Goldcloaks level swords and spears, arms at the ready, and the men of House Lannister do not move as you see they are, to a one, pinned down by goldcloak escorts. Behind Tywin, you see two septas step up and place a hand on each shoulder, and as you come to recognise them as your wife's cousins, you have no doubt that their other hands hold daggers in Tywin's back to ensure he moves as instructed. The Old Lion looks taken completely by surprise, before he looks behind to confirm what's there, looks to his son, and then looks to you, comprehension dawning and fury building as he almost certainly thinks you planned this moment. If only that were true. Your control slips, just for a moment, and you sigh with exasperation, muttering only loud enough for Dany to hear you.
"Oh, godsdammit, Jaime."
Well...Well with Jaime that means only one thing, considering he's been a bodyguard for a king for most his life...
Tywin either wanted you dead at some point and he's making sure it does not happen again, or he's making sure Tyrion has a smooth path to power when he comes back to join the kingsguard.
there is no inbetween
...That, well...The instinct to gossip with players is so hard to override as the QM, so I will allow myself to point out that Jaime was nonspecific as to which members of the Royal Family Tywin is being accused of conspiring against.
No moratorium attached to this one, it's a much simpler vote overall. Though I of course welcome debate over which people to speak to. And whether or not to tell anyone about Jon (that's not a part of the immediate conversations that will happen during the rest of the day, Jaime has sort of made a mess of your priority schedule)
They will not, not yet; this vote is more narrative-steering than rolling.@Marlowe310811 will the roll bonuses be usable for this.
cause if it is, can I use them for tywins legal battle so we can get a favorable outcome.
Darnit well at least I can use them. They will not, not yet; this vote is more narrative-steering than rolling.
The legal front, however, that will be part of the potential options at the start of 298 AC. Hopefully that will come soon, within the next few updates.
Uh. Apparently I was almost right? Just replace "Lannister" with "Targaryen and Martell". Wow, I did not see that coming. On one hand, I have no tears to shed for Tywin. The guy definitely deserves to face some consequences for his years of power-tripping, murder, and abusive behavior. On the other hand, if Viserys looks like a king who likes throwing his enemies in the dungeon via royal fiat, that'll get the lords of the realm whispering nervously (and drawing comparisons with Aerys II). On the mutant third hand, if it gets out that Viserys didn't order this and his Hand and nephew did this on their own and made it look like a royal order...it's going to look even worse. Viserys will look extremely incompetent unless he punishes and demotes some of his best allies.I hope Jaime's secret plan is to get all the Gold Cloaks to hold his dad still while every Lannister takes turns punching him in the face.
